    Abstract: THz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) is used to study the THz-optical properties of a single crystal bismuth ferrite BiFeO 3 (BFO). It can be found that the anisotropy of BiFeO 3 is strongly dependent on the temperature. A giant birefringence up to around 3.6 is observed at 1 THz. The presence of a spatially modulated cycloidal antiferromagnetic structure leads to spin cycloid resonances (SCR) ψ and Φ , corresponding to the out-of-plane and in-plane modes of the spin cycloid, respectively. We distinguish the SCR with respect to their response to orthogonal polarizations of the electric fields of the incident THz beam. In addition, we observe a resonance appearing below 140 K, which might be interpreted as an electromagnon mode and related to a spin reorientation transition. Our present observations present that the temperature and polarization, as the external control parameters, can be used to modulate the THz optical properties of BFO single crystal.

    Abstract: This study is devoted to studying the performance of plastic scintillating fibers (PSFs) for a high-position-resolution muon imaging detector. A test system based on the Compton coincidence technique is designed to study the light collection of the PSFs. When Compton scattering occurs between the PSFs and gamma ray emitted by the collimated radioactive source, the PSF detector has detected the definite energy of recoiled electrons, and the coincidence detector has detected the energy of scattered photons. Four groups of PSFs were tested, three of which were wrapped with the Enhanced Specular Reflector (ESR) in different ways. The experimental results show that the light collection of the PSF detector can be increased by wrapping the PSFs with ESR and leaving an air gap between the PSF and the ESR. Meanwhile, the light collection is increased while the position where Compton scattering occurs in the PSF is closer to the silicon photomultiplier (SiPM). This study provides a method for measuring the light collection in narrow PSFs. In conclusion, the presence and fine wrapping of the ESR ensure the isolation and position accuracy in the arrays of PSFs.

    Abstract: Rapid and direct observation of fungal spores or hyphae in clinical liquid specimens poses a challenge for the diagnosis of invasive fungal infection. To allow rapid detection of fungal pathogens, we designed a new method of fungal cell detection involving double fluorescence staining with calcium fluorescent white (CFW) and SYTOX green combined with single-cell real-time imaging flow cytometry (IFC). IFC allowed quick detection and analysis of detailed morphology of the spores and pseudohyphae of Candida albicans , and small hyphae and typical truncated large mycelia of Aspergillus fumigatus . Further, cell sorting based on fluorescence, the width-to-height ratio and bright-field parameters preferentially identified spores or hyphae with a typical cell wall. The specificity and overall coincidence rate of IFC for fungi detection in common clinical samples were 100% and 98.18%, respectively. Moreover, the detection rate by IFC (102/105, 97.14%) was significantly higher ( P  = 0.002) than that by wet mount method (89/105, 84.5%). Therefore, IFC is a reliable diagnostic method with a high potential for application for rapid diagnosis of fungal infection in the clinic.

    Abstract: Economical and efficient assault methods using drones and drone swarms severely assailed the defenders during the conflict in the Middle East. In view of the current situation, based on medium and large-caliber anti-aircraft artillery platforms, this article analyzes and calculates the advantages of using multiple anti-aircraft guns against drones, the threat of a drone colony, and the drone colony density. Additionally, this study determines the firing sequence of a drone swarm, and provides anti-aircraft gun firing position points to reduce the firing cost and increase the efficiency. This ensures the optimization of an air defense system within a short duration of time. Ammunition is an effective defense against drone swarms. The experimental results demonstrate that compared with that of the conventional methods of individually shooting the swarms, this strategy can simultaneously neutralize multiple targets, assign shooting tasks to multiple artillery guns, and can cause greater damage to a drone swarm.

Green economy is an important proposition of the current world development. The evaluation of green economy should not only focus on economic data, but also environmental and social data. How to filter the data and establish a green economic index evaluation model is the problem this paper wants to solve. Based on the data of green economy and rough set algorithm, this paper evaluates the development level of green economy. Taking the data of Jiangmen city as an example, the evaluation model is tested and analyzed.

    Abstract: In order to accurately evaluate the real-time consumption capacity of new energy considering the dynamic coordination of network sources in real-time scale, a new energy real-time consumption capacity evaluation model considering the dynamic constraints of network sources is established. Firstly, according to the operation plan of thermal power unit, the transmission plan of tie line, the regulation margin of transformer ratio and the capacity of each node’s reactive device, the dynamic constraint of network source is set. Then, according to the grid parameters, the real-time prediction of new energy station operation and the real-time prediction of each node load demand, the line power flow security, node power balance, node voltage security and new energy station operation constraints are set. Finally, two optimization objectives of new energy active power maximum and minimum consumption are set up, and a new energy real-time consumption capacity evaluation model considering the dynamic constraints of network sources is established, which takes the active and reactive power of thermal power unit, the active and reactive power of tie line, the transformer transformation ratio, the reactive capacity of reactive device switching, and the active and reactive power of new energy as decision variables. The validity of the model is verified by 4-node system.
