    Abstract: With the increasing pressure of social life, people generally have different degrees of psychological problems, which brings serious troubles to people’s life and work. As one of the main forms of art, animation is a good medicine for breaking fantasy and returning to reality. Animation is one of the ways of art therapy, and animation art design is the soul of animation therapy. However, the art design of traditional animation cannot bring a strong sense of resonance and cannot arouse people’s inner emotions. Virtual reality can bring users an immersive experience, so it can really immerse the audience and release psychological pressure. The article firstly reoptimizes animation modeling technology and then combines it with art design, comprehensively uses art design and interactive technology to generate virtual space, and finally puts forward the concept of animation art design based on virtual reality technology. It aims to construct virtual animation from animation art design to help patients relieve psychological barriers. After repeated comparison experiments, it can be found that in the process of watching interactive animations on the virtual reality platform, if the overall style of the animation is more comfortable and warm, the user’s psychological perception will reach 78%, and the emotional fluctuation range will be less than 10%. When the animation style is relatively dark and depressing, the user’s psychological perception is only 45%, and the audience is very likely to think of a bad life experience, and the possibility of causing psychological disorders is 69.1%. This shows that the warm and comfortable animation art design can smooth people’s emotional fluctuations and relieve psychological obstacles.

    Abstract: Objective. The prefrontal-limbic system is closely associated with emotion processing in both unipolar depression (UD) and bipolar depression (BD). Evidence for this link is derived mostly from task-fMRI studies, with limited support from structural findings. Therefore, this study explores the differences in the emotional circuit in these two disorders on a structural, large-scale network basis, coupled with the highly noted inflammatory and growth factors. Methods. In this study, 31 BD patients, 37 UD patients, and 61 age-, sex-, and education-matched healthy controls (HCs) underwent diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) scanning and serum cytokine sampling. The study compared cytokine levels and prefrontal-limbic network alterations among the three groups and explored potential biological and neurobiological markers to distinguish the two disorders using graph theory, network-based statistics (NBS), and logistic regression. Results. Compared to BD patients, UD patients showed greater s-100β protein levels, higher efficiency of the right amygdala, and significantly elevated prefrontal-cingulate-amygdala subnetwork intensity. Importantly, the altered prefrontal-cingulate-amygdala subnetwork, nodal efficiency of the right amygdala, IL-8, IL-17, and s-100β levels were risk factors for the diagnosis of UD, whereas anxiety symptoms tended to closely correlate with BD. Moreover, binary logistic regression manifested these factors achieved an area under the curve (AUC) of the receiver operating characteristics (ROC) of 0.949, with 0.875 sensitivity and 0.938 specificity in UD vs. BD classification. Conclusions. These findings narrow the gap in the structural network of emotional circuits in bipolar and unipolar depression, pointing to distinct emotion-processing mechanisms in both disorders.

    Abstract: Background. Exenatide is a glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist that can reduce body weight. This study aimed to determine the efficacy of exenatide on body mass index (BMI) reduction in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) with differing baseline body weight, blood glucose, and atherosclerotic status and to determine if there is a correlation between BMI reduction and cardiometabolic indices in these patients. Methods. This retrospective cohort study used data from our randomized controlled trial. A total of 27 T2DM patients treated with combination therapy of exenatide twice daily and metformin for 52 weeks were included. The primary endpoint was a change in the BMI from the baseline to week 52. The secondary endpoint was a correlation between BMI reduction and cardiometabolic indices. Findings. The BMIs of overweight and obesity patients and those with glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) ≥ 9% significantly decreased −1.42 ± 1.48 kg/m2 P = 0.015 and −0.87 ± 0.93 kg/m2 P = 0.003 , respectively, at the baseline after 52 weeks of treatment. There was no reduction in BMI in patients with normal weight, HbA1c 〈 9%, the nonatherosclerosis group, and the atherosclerosis group. The decrease in BMI was positively correlated with changes in blood glucose, high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP), and systolic blood pressure (SBP). Conclusion. BMI scores improved after exenatide treatment for 52 weeks in T2DM patients. Weight loss was affected by baseline body weight and blood glucose level. In addition, BMI reduction from the baseline to 52 weeks was positively correlated with baseline HbA1c, hsCRP, and SBP. Trial Registration. Chinese Clinical Trial Registry (ChiCTR-1800015658).

    Abstract: Purpose. To study the effects of optimized emergency nursing combined with mild hypothermia nursing on neurological prognosis, hemodynamics, and cytokines in patients with cardiac arrest (CA). Methods. The medical records of 147 patients who were successfully rescued by cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) after CA in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed. The 56 patients admitted in 2020 who received optimized emergency nursing were recorded as the control group; and the 91 patients admitted in 2021 who received optimized emergency nursing combined with mild hypothermia nursing were recorded as the study group. The brain function of the two groups at 72 h after return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) was analyzed: cerebral performance category (CPC) assessment method. The neurological function of the two groups before nursing and 7, 30, and 90 d after nursing was analyzed: National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NISHH) score. The vital signs of the two groups after 24 h of nursing were analyzed: heart rate, spontaneous breathing rate, and blood oxygen saturation. The hemodynamic indexes of the two groups at 24 hours after nursing were analyzed: mean arterial pressure (MAP), central venous pressure (CVP), systolic blood pressure (SBP), and diastolic blood pressure (DBP). The levels of cytokines of the two groups before nursing and 7 days after nursing were analyzed: tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin-6 (IL-6), and interleukin-8 (IL-8). The incidence of complications and the incidence of postresuscitation syndrome (PRS) during the nursing period were compared between the two groups. Results. 72 h after ROSC, the CPC results in the study group were slightly better than those in the control group, but there was no significant difference in the number of cases of CPC Grade 1, CPC Grade 2, CPC Grade 3, CPC Grade 4, and CPC Grade 5 between the two groups P 〉 0.05 . Before nursing, there was no statistical difference in the NISHH total score between the two groups P 〉 0.05 . 7, 30, and 90 d after nursing, the NISHH total score between the two groups were lower than those before nursing, and the study group’s score was lower than the control group’s P 〈 0.05 . 24 h after nursing, the heart rate and spontaneous breathing rate of the study group were lower than those of the control group P 〈 0.05 , and there was no significant difference in blood oxygen saturation between the two groups P 〉 0.05 . 24 h after nursing, there was no significant difference in MAP, CVP, SBP, and DBP between the two groups P 〉 0.05 . Before nursing, there was no significant difference in the levels of TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-8 between the two groups P 〉 0.05 . 7 d after nursing, the levels of TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-8 between the two groups were lower than those before nursing, and the levels of the study group were lower than those of the control group P 〈 0.05 . During the nursing period, the total complication rates of the control group and the study group were 55.36% and 34.07%, respectively, with statistical difference P 〈 0.05 . During the nursing period, the incidences of PRS in the control group and the study group were 12.50% and 3.30%, respectively, with significant difference P 〈 0.05 . Conclusion. The application of optimized emergency nursing combined with mild hypothermia nursing in CA can effectively improve the neurological prognosis and inflammatory levels of patients and reduce the incidence of body complications and PRS.

    Abstract: NOD-like receptor family, pyrin domain-containing protein 3 (NLRP3) inflammasome-mediated pyroptosis is a crucial event in the preeclamptic pathogenesis, tightly linked with the uteroplacental TLR4/NF-κB signaling. Trophoblastic glycometabolism reprogramming has now been noticed in the preeclampsia pathogenesis, plausibly modulated by the TLR4/NF-κB signaling as well. Intriguingly, cellular pyroptosis and metabolic phenotypes may be inextricably linked and interacted. Metformin (MET), a widely accepted NF-κB signaling inhibitor, may have therapeutic potential in preeclampsia while the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. Herein, we investigated the role of MET on trophoblastic pyroptosis and its relevant metabolism reprogramming. The safety of pharmacologic MET concentration to trophoblasts was verified at first, which had no adverse effects on trophoblastic viability. Pharmacological MET concentration suppressed NLRP3 inflammasome-induced pyroptosis partly through inhibiting the TLR4/NF-κB signaling in preeclamptic trophoblast models induced via low-dose lipopolysaccharide. Besides, MET corrected the glycometabolic reprogramming and oxidative stress partly via suppressing the TLR4/NF-κB signaling and blocking transcription factor NF-κB1 binding on the promoter PFKFB3, a potent glycolytic accelerator. Furthermore, PFKFB3 can also enhance the NF-κB signaling, reduce NLRP3 ubiquitination, and aggravate pyroptosis. However, MET suppressed pyroptosis partly via inhibiting PFKFB3 as well. These results provided that the TLR4/NF-κB/PFKFB3 pathway may be a novel link between metabolism reprogramming and NLRP3 inflammasome-induced pyroptosis in trophoblasts. Further, MET alleviates the NLRP3 inflammasome-induced pyroptosis, which partly relies on the regulation of TLR4/NF-κB/PFKFB3-dependent glycometabolism reprogramming and redox disorders. Hence, our results provide novel insights into the pathogenesis of preeclampsia and propose MET as a potential therapy.

    Abstract: Based on the fact that very little was found in the literature on the question of potential molecules and mechanism for high risk of cancer in patients with psoriasis, this study was designed and performed based on bioinformatics analysis including WGCNA. The most striking result to emerge from the data is that BUB1B/hsa-miR-130a-3p axis, closely related to the development of psoriasis, also plays a remarkable role in multiple cancer development. The expression patterns of hsa-miR-130a-3p were found significantly changed in multiple tumors, which was also associated with prognosis. Additionally, hsa-miR-130a-3p was downregulated in lesion skin of psoriasis, but there was no difference in blood between psoriasis patients and normal controls. Circulating has-miR-130a-3p was found to have a higher level of blood in multiple tumor patients, suggesting that hsa-miR-130a-3p has the potential to be a blood biomarker for cancer risk assessment in patients with psoriasis.

    Abstract: Objective . To evaluate the efficacy and safety of mesalamine in conjunction with probiotics for ulcerative colitis. Methods . Random controlled trials (RCTs) were searched in PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang, and VIP (VIP Database for Chinese Technical Periodicals) from inception to October 2019. Methodological quality was assessed by the Cochrane Collaboration tool. The quality of evidence was rated by the Grading of Recommendations, Assessment, Development, and Evaluation (GRADE). Data analysis was carried out in Review Manager 5.3. Results . A total of fifteen studies met the criteria for inclusion. Thirteen studies reported the clinical efficacy, three studies provided data on the clinical symptom scores, two trials reported disease activity index, four studies evaluated endoscopic score, and twelve studies reported adverse events. For ulcerative colitis (UC), mesalamine and probiotics had better clinical efficacy than mesalamine alone (≤8 weeks: RR = 1.12, 95% CI: 1.07–1.18, P 〈 0.0001 ; 〉 8 weeks: RR = 1.25, 95% CI: 1.11–1.41, P = 0.0003 ). On the clinical symptom scores, disease activity index, and endoscopic score, UC patients receiving mesalamine and probiotics had significant difference than patients receiving mesalazine alone (MD = −2.02, 95% CI: −3.28 to −0.76, P = 0.002 ; MD = −1.20, 95% CI: −1.76 to −0.65, P 〈 0.001 ; and MD = −0.42, 95% CI: −0.61 to −0.23, P 〈 0.0001 , respectively). There was no statistically significant difference in adverse events between the two groups (RR = 0.88, 95% CI: 0.54 to 1.43, P = 0.60 ). Conclusion . Our meta-analysis results supported that mesalamine and probiotics were effective and safe in treating ulcerative colitis.

    Abstract: Curcuminoids, and mainly curcumin, are potential therapeutic agents for the prevention of various diseases; however, little is known about the factors that influence their accumulation in Curcuma species. In this study, the effects of factors such as sucrose concentration, different ratios of 6-benzylaminopurine (6-BA) and α -naphthalene acetic acid (NAA), and light quality on the accumulation of curcumin and other curcuminoids in Curcuma aromatica were investigated. Microrhizomes grown on media containing 3% sucrose produced more curcumin and other curcuminoids than those grown on higher concentrations. Moreover, when compared to other ratios of 6-BA and NAA, microrhizomes induced on 3% sucrose media supplemented with 3.0 mg/L 6-BA and 0.5 mg/L NAA produced more curcumin and other curcuminoids; however, the amount was less than in microrhizomes grown on 3% sucrose alone. We determined that a 5% sucrose medium supplemented with 3.0 mg/L of 6-BA and 0.5 mg/L of NAA enhanced the levels of curcumin and curcuminoids and that exposure to red light further increased production.

    Abstract: Objective . To investigate the mediation effect of approach/avoidance motivation between hardiness and depressive symptoms. Methods . Cross-sectional design was utilized. Two independent samples of military servicemen (G1: military personnel in the Armed Forces; G2: Chinese army military cadets) (n1 = 98, n2 =140) were sampled and investigated. The assessment tools of hardiness scale (DRS), behavioral activation and inhibition scales (BAS/BIS), and Center for Epidemiological Survey-Depression Scale (CES-D)/Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) were used. General linear model was conducted to examine the predictive role of hardiness (DRS) and motivation (BAS/BIS) on depressive symptoms (CES-D or BDI). The mediating role of BAS/BIS between hardiness and depressive symptoms was examined. Results . (1) Across army soldiers and military medical university cadets, hardiness ( β =-0.394, P 〈 0.001) and behavioral inhibition ( β =0.297, P 〈 0.001) significantly predicted depressive symptoms. (2) For soldiers only, behavioral inhibition mediated the significant association between hardiness and depressive symptoms ( β =-0.043, SE=0.027, 95%CI=-0.130~-0.008). (3) For cadets only, behavioral activation-Drive significantly predicted depressive symptoms ( β =-0.237, P =0.012), and hardiness operates through behavioral activation-Drive to influence depressive symptoms ( β =-0.057, SE=0.036, 95%CI=-0.151~-0.078). Conclusion . Individuals who are low in hardiness and behavioral activation-Drive and who are high in behavioral inhibition showed more severe depressive symptoms. The relationship between hardiness and depressive symptoms was mediated by behavioral activation-Drive in cadets and behavioral inhibition in soldiers. The proposed model offers a useful approach for the development of hardiness training programs to alter approach/avoidance motivation in the military context. Future training program of hardiness could lay more emphasis on promotion of perseverance in pursuing goals in hardy individuals, which may in turn improve active coping.

    Abstract: Radiation enteritis—clinically manifested as diarrhea, intestinal bleeding, and so on—is frequently caused when the body is exposed to radiation or radiotherapy because the intestine is radiation-sensitive as an abdominal organ. Therefore, strategies to modulate intestinal hemostasis had inspired an important research trend in the process of preventing and treating radiation enteritis. Based on the structural characteristics of montmorillonite (MMT) and the hemostatic drug tranexamic acid (TXA) which was used clinically to treat enteritis, the tranexamic acid-montmorillonite composite material (TXA-MMT) was prepared through intercalation composite technology. According to the analysis of FTIR, XRD, TG-DTG, SEM, and XRF, the prepared TXA-MMT was verified that tranexamic acid could intercalate into layers of montmorillonite. To evaluate the biocompatibility, two experiments were conducted by in vitro hemolysis and in vitro cytotoxicity experiments and results showed that TXA-MMT exhibited good visible biocompatibility. Activated partial thromboplastin time, prothrombin time, and in vitro clotting time were adopted to determine the hemostatic effect of TXA-MMT. Compared with other groups, TXA-MMT revealed a significant decrease in clotting time variations, APTT, and PT. In addition, to investigate the preventive effect of TXA-MMT by the intervention of radiation enteritis mice, inflammatory factors IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α and the content of endotoxin in the serum of mice were detected. It demonstrated that TXA-MMT reduced the levels of these factors. Besides, the expression and the pathological changes of the small intestine tissue of mice were relieved. Our findings suggests that TXA-MMT as a promising intercalation composite has a great potential for application in the field of intestinal hemostasis.
