Abstract: Objective. Current study aimed to investigate the benefits of adjuvant therapy with traditional Chinese medicine on the pediatric primary nephrotic syndrome. Methods. A total of 455 patients with PNS admitted to our hospital from January 2010 to January 2019 were divided into the traditional Chinese medicine group (n = 217) and the control group (n = 238). The control group received conventional Western medical treatment, and the traditional Chinese medicine group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine supplemented with Western medical treatment. The differences in remission rate, recurrence rate, and recurrence-free survival between the two groups were evaluated. Results. The differences in clinical parameters between the two groups were not statistically significant. Compared with the control group, adjuvant treatment with traditional Chinese medicine increased the clinical remission rate ( p = 0.037 ), decreased the relapse rate ( p = 0.015 ), prolonged relapse-free survival ( p ≤ 0.01 ), and was an independent protective factor for relapse-free survival in children with PNS (HR = 0.55, 95% CI 0.49–0.63, p ≤ 0.01 ). In a subgroup analysis of the traditional Chinese medicine formulations, Yuebi Jiazhu Tang, Ganlu Xiaodu Dan, and Yupingfeng granules significantly reduced the risk of recurrence in children ( p ≤ 0.01 , p ≤ 0.01 , p = 0.003 ). Conclusion. Adjuvant treatment of pediatric primary nephrotic syndrome with traditional Chinese medicine could benefit the children.

Abstract: Advances in medical and communication technologies have empowered the development of Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs). WBANs interconnect with miniature sensors placed on the human body to enable medical monitoring of patient health. However, the limited battery capacity, delay, and reliability of data transmission have brought challenges to the wider application of WBAN. Minimum consumption of energy and maximum satisfaction with the QoS requirements are essential design aims of the WBAN schemes. Therefore, a fuzzy control-based energy-aware routing protocol (EARP) is proposed in this paper, the proposed protocol establishes a fuzzy control model composed of remaining node energy and link quality, and the best forwarder node is determined by the processes of fuzzification, fuzzy inference, and defuzzification. The simulation results showed that compared with the performance of the existing EERDT and M-TSIMPLE protocols, the proposed EARP has better performance, including extending network lifetime and improving the reliability of data transmission.

Abstract: In the GNSS-challenged/denied environments, compared with other aided navigation systems, synthetic aperture radar- (SAR-) aided navigation systems can achieve all-weather, all-day, and global positioning. This paper is aimed at designing a reliable navigation system for the supersonic vehicle in the whole flight phase. Considering the SAR is of great significance for the reliable and precise navigation of the supersonic vehicle, we introduce it to the terminal phase to cope with the interference of the global navigation satellite system (GNSS). At the same time, to accelerate the speed of SAR positioning, a positioning method based on the area feature and stack sequential decoding algorithm (SSDA) is designed. Then, applying the SAR positioning under the framework of the Kalman filter (KF), we propose a tightly coupled strapdown inertial navigation system (SINS)/SAR/GNSS integration algorithm, which can achieve positioning without a complicated fusion method between the front phase and terminal phase. The flight experiment results show that the proposed method can correct the average position error to 1.7 m within 1 cycle.

Abstract: Objective. At present, the use of particular radial hemostatic devices after coronary angiography (CAG) or percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) has become the primary method of hemostasis. Most control studies are based on the products already on the market, while only a few studies are on the new hemostatic devices. The aim of this study is to compare a new radial artery hemostasis device which is transformed based on the invention patent (Application number: CN201510275446) with TR Band (Terumo Medical) to evaluate its clinical effects. Methods. In a prospective randomized clinical trial, 60 patients after CAG or PCI were randomly divided into two groups, patients in the trial group (CD group) using a new radial artery hemostasis device to stop bleeding and the control group (TR group) using the TR Band. The method is to collect relevant data of the two groups and compare the differences in hemostasis, local complications, and patient discomfort between the two groups. Results. The hemostatic devices in both groups achieved adequate hemostasis, and there was no failure to stop bleeding. The new radial artery hemostasis device was better than the TR band in pain and swelling ( P 〈 0.05 ). There were no significant differences in bleeding, hematoma, ecchymosis, skin damage, and local infection between the two groups ( P 〉 0.05 ). Conclusions. The sample of the new radial artery hemostasis device can stop bleeding effectively at the puncture site after CAG or PCI and is not inferior to the TR Band balloon hemostatic device in safety and is better in comfort.

Abstract: In Dual Sequence Frequency Hopping (DSFH) communication mode, aiming at improving the detection performance to weak signal under low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) conditions, stochastic resonance (SR) detection method is proposed. First, the α-stable distribution is used as the impulsive noise model and the influence of α value on the properties of α-stable noise is analyzed. Second, the transmitting and receiving signal model of DSFH communication system is introduced. The SR method is used to detect DSFH signal. In order to analyze the output signal, the fractional Fokker–Planck equation (FFPE) is established, and a new simplified solution method based on sampling decision time is proposed to solve the time-varying fractional differential equation. Base on the theoretical solution of FFPE, a binary hypothesis test statistic is constructed to quantify the signal detection probability and false alarm probability, and the detection performance is analyzed. Finally, simulation experiments verify the theoretical conclusions. The minimum effective SNR for SR detection is obtained, and it is about −20 dB, which provides a theoretical basis for the application of SR in the DSFH communication system.
