Abstract: Objective. To examine the efficacy and safety of ozonated autohemotherapy (O3-AHT) combined with pharmacological therapy for comorbid insomnia and myofascial pain syndrome (MPS). Materials and Methods. One hundred and eighteen patients were randomly divided into two groups: the control group (N = 50) and the O3-AHT group (N = 53). Patients in both groups were given the same pharmacological management for three weeks. Patients in the O3-AHT group were treated with ozonated autohemotherapy (the concentration of ozone was 20 µg/ml in the first week, 30 µg/ml in the second week, and 40 µg/ml in the third week) combined with pharmacological therapy. Primary (the insomnia severity index (ISI) and visual analogue scale (VAS)) and secondary outcomes (the Epworth sleepiness scale (ESS), polysomnography data, the anxiety and preoccupation about sleep questionnaire (APSQ), the beck depression index (BDI), and the multidimensional fatigue inventory (MFI)) were examined at pretreatment, posttreatment, 1 month, and 6 months. Results. Fifty patients in the control group and fifty-three patients in the O3-AHT group completed the study. In both groups, insomnia and pain symptoms were relieved significantly compared with pretreatment. Compared with the control group, the O3-AHT group had significantly improved sleep quality, pain, and negative mood at different time points. No adverse complications were observed in either group. Conclusion. Compared with pharmacological therapy alone, ozonated autohemotherapy combined with pharmacological therapy can ameliorate insomnia, reduce pain intensity, improve negative mood, and alleviate fatigue more effectively without serious adverse complications.

Abstract: Over the last decades, the advancements in networking technology and new multimedia devices have motivated the research on efficient video streaming mechanisms under wireless. We consider combing soft real-time video streaming scheduling with threshold to minimize the ineffective preemption. Based on the value density and urgency of soft real-time task, the dynamic scheduling with preemption threshold strategy (DSPT) is proposed in the paper. By analyzing the response time and preemption relationship of tasks, the preemption thresholds are assigned. Simulation results show that the DSPT strategy achieves improvements about success rate, delay time, and benefit of the system.

Abstract: In practice, the assumption of failure independence between components is seldom valid, especially for those complex systems with complicated failure mechanism. Users can decide whether to purchase extended warranty (EW) at the end of basic warranty, and there are many factors that influence this decision, such as product reliability and EW price. In order to solve the problem of EW pricing for multi-component systems with failure interaction reasonably, considering the failure interaction characteristics between components of the multi-component systems, under the condition of type II failure interaction, this paper constructed a dependent failure rate model and developed a EW cost model of two-component systems. Thus, after optimizing the preventive maintenance (PM) strategy, this paper obtained the optimal PM interval when EW cost is the lowest, which is a win-win strategy to reduce the EW price for manufacturers and users under the premise of ensuring the manufacturer's profit demand. Finally, the validity of the model was verified by a numerical example and sensitivity analysis for important parameters was presented.

Abstract: Background . Yupingfeng Pulvis (HFBP) had played an active role in many diseases, especially respiratory tract infections. Exploring the possible prevention mechanism of HFBP may provide new ideas in clinical applications for this well-known herbal formula. Purpose . To study the possible mechanisms of therapy effect of HFBP on asthma mice via regulating the balance of Tregs and Th17 cells. Method . The female BALB/c mice were divided into five groups: control group, model group, prednisone (5.5 mg/kg) group, and 22 g/kg HFBP and 44 g/kg HFBP groups. Ovalbumin was used to make the asthma model of mice; the drug was ig administered daily after atomization for consecutive 15 d. The mice were killed after the last administration. The paraffin-embedded tissue sections of the lungs were stained by H & E. Tregs and Th17 cells in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid were detected by flow cytometry. IL-4, TGF- β , and TNF- α in the serum were detected by ELISA assay. Results . HFBP could alleviate the inflammation in the lung tissue of mice, decrease the proportion of Th17 cells, and increase the proportion of Treg cells in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid. HFBP could decrease IL-4 and TNF- α level and increase TGF- β level in blood. Conclusion . HFBP could treat the asthma through impacting the balance of Th17 cells and Treg cells as well as the levels of related inflammatory cytokines in asthma mice.

Abstract: For map-based cloning of genes conferring important traits in the hexaploid wheat line 92R137, a bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC) library, including two sublibraries, was constructed using the genomic DNA of 92R137 digested with restriction enzymes Hind III and Bam HI. The BAC library was composed of total 765,696 clones, of which 390,144 were from the Hind III digestion and 375,552 from the Bam HI digestion. Through pulsed-field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) analysis of 453 clones randomly selected from the Hind III sublibrary and 573 clones from the Bam HI sublibrary, the average insert sizes were estimated as 129 and 113 kb, respectively. Thus, the Hind III sublibrary was estimated to have a 3.01-fold coverage and the Bam HI sublibrary a 2.53-fold coverage based on the estimated hexaploid wheat genome size of 16,700 Mb. The 765,696 clones were arrayed in 1,994 384-well plates. All clones were also arranged into plate pools and further arranged into 5-dimensional (5D) pools. The probability of identifying a clone corresponding to any wheat DNA sequence (such as gene Yr26 for stripe rust resistance) from the library was estimated to be more than 99.6%. Through polymerase chain reaction screening the 5D pools with Xwe173 , a marker tightly linked to Yr26 , six BAC clones were successfully obtained. These results demonstrate that the BAC library is a valuable genomic resource for positional cloning of Yr26 and other genes of interest.

Abstract: In many colleges and universities, MOOCs have been applied in many courses, including ideological and political course, which is very important for college students’ ideological and moral education. Ideological and political MOOCs break the limitations of time and space, and students can conveniently and quickly learn ideological and political courses through the network. However, due to the openness of MOOCs, there may be some abnormal access behaviors, affecting the normal process of MOOCs. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a detection method of abnormal access behavior of ideological and political MOOCs in colleges and universities. Based on deep learning, the network behavior detection model is established to distinguish whether the network behavior is normal, so as to detect the abnormal access network behavior. In order to prove the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed algorithm, the algorithm is compared with the other two network abnormal behavior detection methods, and the results prove that the proposed method can effectively detect the abnormal access behavior in ideological and political MOOCs.

Abstract: To solve the high-stress hazard faced in the process of deep mining process, the pressure relief characteristics of gas bearing coal and the deformation characteristics of surrounding rock in deep roadway are studied by means of laboratory test, similar simulation analysis, and field investigation. The investigation results and engineering application showed that the specimens could more easily reach the failure point due to the axial pressure relief under high confining pressure. In addition, the deformation and failure degree of the surrounding rock was higher due to the disturbance from the deep high-stress roadway. The scope of the height affected by the pressure relief of the overlying strata reached above 10 m. Moreover, the initial gas emission could reach 4.41–14.39 times that of the original coal seam by drilling a hole in the coal seam at 10 m from the roof. Thus, the short-distance floor roadway exerted an obvious pressure relief effect on the overlying coal seam.

Abstract: Background . In China, the prevalence of diabetes has increased significantly over recent decades, owing to the county’s rapidly aging population. Although many studies have examined the prevalence of diabetes worldwide, there has been little analysis of the inequalities in its prevalence and treatment among middle-aged and elderly people. Objectives . This study evaluates influence factors and inequality in respect to the prevalence of diabetes and medication treatment among middle-aged and elderly Chinese adults. Methods . Data were obtained from the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study, a nationally representative household survey of middle-aged and elderly people (i.e., 45 years of age or older). Logistic regression models and the concentration index were used to estimate socioeconomic factors and inequalities in diabetes prevalence and treatment. Results . The prevalence of self-reported diabetes among middle-aged and elderly Chinese adults was 8.4%; this figure was significantly higher in urban areas than in rural areas. Concentrations of prevalence were observed among the poor in urban areas and among the rich in rural areas. Overall, the incidence of receiving antidiabetic medication among diabetes patients was 64.3%; this was significantly higher for individuals in urban areas than those in rural areas, suggesting that awareness of diabetes treatment in urban areas is better than that in rural areas. A disproportionate concentration of incidence of receiving antidiabetic medication was observed among the rich in both urban and rural areas. Socioeconomic factors significantly affected the prevalence of diabetes and the likelihood of receiving medication and are major contributors to inequality. Conclusion . In China, policies and strategies regarding diabetes prevention and control should further focus on associated socioeconomic factors and major contributors to reduce diabetes prevalence, improve diabetes treatment and management, and alleviate current inequality in the prevalence and treatment of diabetes among middle-aged and elderly adults.

Abstract: Estrogen receptor (ER) is a crucial molecule symbol of breast cancer. Molecular interactions between ER complexes and DNA regulate the expression of genes responsible for cancer cell phenotypes. However, the positions and mechanisms of the ER binding with downstream gene targets are far from being fully understood. ChIP-Seq is an important assay for the genome-wide study of protein-DNA interactions. In this paper, we explored the genome-wide chromatin localization of ER-DNA binding regions by analyzing ChIP-Seq data from MCF-7 breast cancer cell line. By integrating three peak detection algorithms and two datasets, we localized 933 ER binding sites, 92% among which were located far away from promoters, suggesting long-range control by ER. Moreover, 489 genes in the vicinity of ER binding sites were identified as estrogen response elements by comparison with expression data. In addition, 836 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in or near 157 ER-regulated genes were found in the vicinity of ER binding sites. Furthermore, we annotated the function of the nearest-neighbor genes of these binding sites using Gene Ontology (GO), KEGG, and GeneGo pathway databases. The results revealed novel ER-regulated genes pathways for further experimental validation. ER was found to affect every developed stage of breast cancer by regulating genes related to the development, progression, and metastasis. This study provides a deeper understanding of the regulatory mechanisms of ER and its associated genes.
