Abstract: Freeze-thaw harm is the major factor that reduces the durability of hydraulic concrete buildings at high altitudes and in cold regions. To solve the durability problem of hydraulic buildings in alpine regions, the study prepared sixteen groups of concrete specimens with different replacement ratios of iron ore tailings and recycled aggregate were prepared, and indoor deterioration accelerated tests were designed. Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) technology was used to analyze the pore distribution in the structure, and macro indicators of concrete mass loss rate and relative dynamic elastic modulus (RDEM), were selected. Combined with SEM, images, the frost resistance of iron ore tailings sand (IOT), with Recycled aggregate concrete (RAC), was explored. The final analysis shows that when only RCA is replaced, the frost resistance of RAC decreases with the increase of the RCA replacement rate. When only replacing IOT, the frost resistance of IOT concrete with a replacement rate of 50% is better than that of other replacement rates. In addition to ordinary concrete, the combination of 30% iron ore tailings and 30% recycled aggregate concrete (RAC3-IOT3) has good frost resistance. The mass loss of the RAC3-IOT3, specimen increased by 0.09% compared with ordinary concrete. From the microscopic level, with the addition of the dosage of RCA, the number of macropores (0.05∼1 μm) and microcracks ( 〉 1 μm) in concrete increased. After replacing the appropriate amount of iron ore tailings, the pore space structure of RAC was improved, and some harmful pores spaces were transformed into harmless pores. However, the combination of excess IOT, and RCA, does not improve the interface transition zone of RCA. From the micromorphology, with an increasing dosage of RCA, the bonding force between cementitious material and sand aggregate weakens and there are more pores. The combination of excess IOT, and RCA, does not improve the interface transition zone of RCA but will accelerate the spalling of surface mortar because of its small fineness. All things considered, RAC3-IOT3 is the most suitable concrete for high altitude and cold areas.

Abstract: The objective of this study was to explore the neuroprotective effect of moxibustion on rats with Parkinson’s disease (PD) and its mechanism. A Parkinson’s disease model was established in rats using a two-point stereotactic 6-hydroxydopamine injection in the right substantia nigra (SN) and ventral tegmental area. The rats received moxibustion at the Baihui (GV20) and Sishencong (EX-HN1) acupoints for 20 minutes, six times a week, for 6 weeks. The right SN tissue was histologically and immunohistochemically examined. Differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified through RNA sequencing. In addition, the levels of tyrosine hydroxylase (TH), glutathione peroxidase 4 (GPX4), and ferritin heavy chain 1 (FTH1) in SN were measured. In comparison to the model group, the moxibustion group showed a significantly greater TH immunoreactivity and a higher behavioural score. In particular, moxibustion led to an increase in the number and morphological stability of SN neural cells. The functional pathway analysis showed that DEGs are closely related to the ferroptosis pathway. GPX4 and FTH1 in the SN were significantly overexpressed in the moxibustion-treated rats with PD. Moxibustion can effectively reduce the death of SN neurons, decrease the occurrence of ferroptosis, and increase the TH activity to protect the neurons in rats with PD. The protective mechanism may be associated with suppression of the ferroptosis.

Abstract: Objective. To evaluate the efficacy of twin-block appliance in the treatment of children with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Methods. Two independent reviewers conducted a systematic review of seven databases from database establishment until October 16, 2021. There were no language restrictions. The outcomes were changes in apnea-hypopnea index (AHI), oxyhemoglobin desaturation index (ODI), and lowest arterial oxygen saturation (lowest SaO2). National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) tool was used to assess the quality of the studies included. Results. A total of 207 articles were screened for relevance, and 6 of them met the inclusion criteria for our meta-analysis. Four of the studies were case series, 1 was nonrandomized control trial, and 1 was a randomized crossover clinical trial. After twin-block therapy, there was a significant decrease in AHI (4.35 events/hour, 95% CI: 4.04, 4.66, p ≤ 0.001 ). The lowest SaO2 significantly increased by 9.17% (95% CI: 12.05, 6.28, p ≤ 0.001 ). Sensitivity analysis by excluding studies one by one showed stable and favorable results in lowest SaO2 and AHI. Conclusions. Results from the meta-analysis showed that the use of twin-block appliance significantly decreased AHI and significantly increased lowest SaO2. Hence, twin-block appliance therapy may be an effective method for the treatment of pediatric OSA. Further large sample size randomized controlled trials are needed to assess this treatment efficacy in children with obstructive sleep apnea.

Abstract: Objective . Many studies have shown that microRNAs (miRNAs) could play a potential role as prognostic biomarkers of tumors. The aim of this study is to summarize the global predicting role of microRNA-210 (miR-210) for survival in patients with a variety of carcinomas. Methods . Relevant literature was identified using PubMed and the information in eligible studies has been extracted. Then meta-analysis of hazard ratio (HR) was performed to evaluate the prognostic role of the miR-210 in different tumors. Results . This meta-analysis included 9 published studies dealing with various carcinomas. For recurrence free survival or disease free survival (RFS/DFS), the combined hazard ratio (HR) and 95% confidence interval (95% CI) of higher miR-210 expression were 2.47 [1.36, 4.46], which could significantly predict poor survival in general carcinomas. MicroRNA-210 was also a significant predictor for overall survival (OS), metastasis free survival or distant relapse free survival (MFS/DRFS), and disease specific survival (DSS). Importantly, subgroup analysis suggested that higher expression of miR-210 correlated with worse RFS/DFS, OS, and MFS/DRFS, especially in breast cancer, which were 3.36 [2.30, 4.93] , 3.29 [1.65, 6.58], and 2.85 [1.76, 4.62] separately. Conclusion . Our studies suggested that microRNA-210 could predict the outcome of patients with varieties of tumors, especially in breast cancers.

Abstract: The power balance of the tie-line is crucial to the stable operation of a community microgrid. This paper presents a power fluctuation smoothing method of the microgrid tie-line based on virtual energy storage technology. Firstly, the structure characteristics and the energy coupling mode of the combined heat and power system is systematically analyzed. Considering the operating characteristics of heat pumps, micro gas turbines, and buildings’ heat storage characteristics, a virtual energy storage model is established. Secondly, the target power of the tie-line is determined with the storage state indexes into consideration. Subsequently, a power allocation strategy which takes into account the correction of equipment state mapping set is proposed to allocate the tie-line power fluctuations to heat pumps, micro gas turbines, and supercapacitors. Simulation results show this method can realize the coupling coordination between heat and power energy and ensure the smoothing effect of the power fluctuations. Meanwhile, the control flexibility of the combined heat and power system can be enhanced, and the microgrid’s operating economy can be improved.

Abstract: At present, the built or newly built underground structures are mostly concentrated in developed areas along the coast, lakes, and rivers, while deep soft soil is widely distributed in these areas. The cold heat treatment method is one of the advanced foundation treatments and has broad application prospect. However, geothermal exchange and temperature field change are complex Stefan problems with mobile boundaries, internal heat sources, and phase changes. It is important to determine the freezing area and freezing temperature reasonably under the premise of ensuring the safety of the frozen construction. Therefore, this paper summarizes the research methods of freezing method construction of cross passage and introduces the research on the constitutive model of freezing undisturbed soil, the theory of freezing wall calculation, and the evolution mechanism of the temperature field. Then, a brief evaluation is made in view of the lack of research, and the development direction of this field is put forward with the research characteristics. It is to deepen the understanding of the deformation mechanism of cross passage embedded in soft soil caused by the freezing and melting.

Abstract: Recently, some graph-based methods have been proposed for malware detection. However, current malware is generally characterized by sophisticated behaviors, which makes graph-based malware detection extremely challenging. To address this issue, we propose a graph repartition algorithm by transforming API call graphs into fragment behaviors based on programs’ dynamic execution traces. The proposed algorithm relies on the N -order subgraph ( NSG ) for constructing the appropriate fragment behavior. Moreover, we improve the term frequency-inverse document frequency- (TF-IDF-) like measure and information gain (IG) to extract the crucial N -order subgraph ( CNSG ). This novel behavioral representation and improved extraction method can accurately represent crucial behaviors of malware. Experiments on 4,400 samples demonstrate that the proposed method achieves a high accuracy of 99.75% in malware detection and promising performance of 95.27% in malware classification.

Abstract: Objective . This study was to investigate the features of renal carcinomas associated with Xp11.2 translocations/TFE3 gene fusions (Xp11.2-RCC) on conventional ultrasound (US) and contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS). Methods . US and CEUS features of twenty-two cases with histopathologically proven Xp11.2-RCC were retrospectively reviewed. Results . 22 patients (11 males, 11 females) were included in this study, with a mean age of 28.3 ± 20.4 years. Eight tumors (36.3%, 8/22) were in left kidney, and 14 tumors (63.7%, 14/22) were in right kidney. All tumors (100%, 22/22) were mixed echogenicity type. 13 tumors (59.1%, 13/22) presented small dotted calcifications. The boundary of 14 tumors (63.6%, 14/22) was sharp and the other 8 tumors’ (36.4%, 8/22) boundary was blurry. By CEUS, in early phase, the solid element of all tumors showed obvious enhancement. In delayed phase, 13 tumors showed hypoenhancement, seven tumors showed isoenhancement, and 2 tumors showed hyperenhancement. There were irregular nonenhancement areas in all tumors inside. Conclusions . By US and CEUS, when children and adolescents were found to have hyperechoic mixed tumor in kidney with sharp margin and calcification, and the tumors showed obvious enhancement and hypoenhancement with irregular nonenhancement areas in the tumor in early phase and delayed phase, respectively, Xp11.2-RCC should be suspected.
