    Abstract: Understanding the failure mechanism and failure modes of multiface slopes in the Wenchuan earthquake can provide a scientific guideline for the slope seismic design. In this paper, the two-dimensional particle flow code (PFC2D) and shaking table tests are used to study the failure mechanism of multiface slopes. The results show that the failure modes of slopes with different moisture content are different under seismic loads. The failure modes of slopes with the moisture content of 5%, 8%, and 12% are shattering-shallow slip, tension-shear slip, and shattering-collapse slip, respectively. The failure mechanism of slopes with different water content is different. In the initial stage of vibration, the slope with 5% moisture content produces tensile cracks on the upper surface of the slope; local shear slip occurs at the foot of the slope and develops rapidly; however, a tensile failure finally occurs. In the slope with 8% moisture content, local shear cracks first develop and then are connected into the slip plane, leading to the formation of the unstable slope. A fracture network first forms in the slope with 12% moisture content under the shear action; uneven dislocation then occurs in the slope during vibration; the whole instability failure finally occurs. In the case of low moisture content, the tensile crack plays a leading role in the failure of the slope. But the influence of shear failure becomes greater with the increase of the moisture content.

    Abstract: Objective. To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of apatinib combined with paclitaxel in the first-line treatment of locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Methods. From March 2016 to June 2018, 114 patients with locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma who received first-line treatment in our hospital were selected as the patient group, and those who received apatinib combined with paclitaxel concurrent radiotherapy and chemotherapy were selected as the research group (n = 54), while those who received paclitaxel concurrent radiotherapy and chemotherapy were selected as the control group (n = 60). Sixty healthy individuals in our hospital were recruited in the same period as the healthy group. The clinical effective rate, adverse reactions, 2-year overall survival rate (OS), 2-year progression-free survival rate (PFS), and quality of life were compared between the two groups, and the expression of miR-655 in the serum of each group was tested by RT-qPCR. Results. The total clinical effective rate of the research group was higher than that of the control group, and the 2-year OS and PFS of the research group were also higher than those of the control group ( P 〈 0.05 ). Both groups of patients could tolerate the treatment, but the incidence of hypertension and proteinuria in the research group was higher than that in the control group ( P 〈 0.05 ). The expression of miR-655 in the serum of patients was lower than that of the healthy group ( P 〈 0.05 ). After treatment, miR-655 in serum increased in both the groups and miR-655 in the research group was higher than that in the control group ( P 〈 0.05 ). The 2-year survival rate of OS and PFS in patients with low expression of miR-655 was significantly lower than that in patients with high expression of miR-655 ( P 〈 0.05 ). Conclusion. Apatinib combined with paclitaxel concurrent radiotherapy and chemotherapy is effective and well-tolerated in the treatment of locally advanced nasopharyngeal carcinoma, which improves the quality of life of patients and can be popularized in clinical practice. In addition, the increase of miR-655 may be a target for treating nasopharyngeal carcinoma.

    Abstract: Chest X-ray has become one of the most common ways in diagnostic radiology exams, and this technology assists expert radiologists with finding the patients at potential risk of cardiopathy and lung diseases. However, it is still a challenge for expert radiologists to assess thousands of cases in a short period so that deep learning methods are introduced to tackle this problem. Since the diseases have correlations with each other and have hierarchical features, the traditional classification scheme could not achieve a good performance. In order to extract the correlation features among the diseases, some GCN-based models are introduced to combine the features extracted from the images to make prediction. This scheme can work well with the high quality of image features, so backbone with high computation cost plays a vital role in this scheme. However, a fast prediction in diagnostic radiology is also needed especially in case of emergency or region with low computation facilities, so we proposed an efficient convolutional neural network with GCN, which is named SGGCN, to meet the need of efficient computation and considerable accuracy. SGGCN used SGNet-101 as backbone, which is built by ShuffleGhost Block (Huang et al., 2021) to extract features with a low computation cost. In order to make sufficient usage of the information in GCN, a new GCN architecture is designed to combine information from different layers together in GCNM module so that we can utilize various hierarchical features and meanwhile make the GCN scheme faster. The experiment on CheXPert datasets illustrated that SGGCN achieves a considerable performance. Compared with GCN and ResNet-101 (He et al., 2015) backbone (test AUC 0.8080, parameters 4.7M and FLOPs 16.0B), the SGGCN achieves 0.7831 (−3.08%) test AUC with parameters 1.2M (−73.73%) and FLOPs 3.1B (−80.82%), where GCN with MobileNet (Sandler and Howard, 2018) backbone achieves 0.7531 (−6.79%) test AUC with parameters 0.5M (−88.46%) and FLOPs 0.66B (−95.88%).

    Abstract: Deep learning algorithms are facing the limitation in virtual reality application due to the cost of memory, computation, and real-time computation problem. Models with rigorous performance might suffer from enormous parameters and large-scale structure, and it would be hard to replant them onto embedded devices. In this paper, with the inspiration of GhostNet, we proposed an efficient structure ShuffleGhost to make use of the redundancy in feature maps to alleviate the cost of computations, as well as tackling some drawbacks of GhostNet. Since GhostNet suffers from high computation of convolution in Ghost module and shortcut, the restriction of downsampling would make it more difficult to apply Ghost module and Ghost bottleneck to other backbone. This paper proposes three new kinds of ShuffleGhost structure to tackle the drawbacks of GhostNet. The ShuffleGhost module and ShuffleGhost bottlenecks are utilized by the shuffle layer and group convolution from ShuffleNet, and they are designed to redistribute the feature maps concatenated from Ghost Feature Map and Primary Feature Map. Besides, they eliminate the gap of them and extract the features. Then, SENet layer is adopted to reduce the computation cost of group convolution, as well as evaluating the importance of the feature maps which concatenated from Ghost Feature Maps and Primary Feature Maps and giving proper weights for the feature maps. This paper conducted some experiments and proved that the ShuffleGhostV3 has smaller trainable parameters and FLOPs with the ensurance of accuracy. And with proper design, it could be more efficient in both GPU and CPU side.

    Abstract: Objective. This study aimed to explore the molecular mechanism of Momordica grosvenori (MG) in spinal cord injury (SCI) by network pharmacology analysis. Methods. We searched for potential active MG compounds using the TCMSP database and the BATMAN-TCM platform. The Swiss target prediction database was used to find MG-related targets and the targets of SCI from the CTD, GeneCards, and DrugBank databases. Following that, a protein-protein interaction (PPI) study was carried out. Cytoscape software was used to calculate the hub gene, and R software was used to evaluate the Gene Ontology (GO) and KEGG enrichment pathways. Finally, molecular docking between the hub protein and important compounds was performed. We verified STAT3, MAPK1, HSP90AA1, PIK3R1, PIK3CA, and RXRA potential targets by quantitative PCR. Results. We obtained 293 MG-anti-SCI targets with potential therapeutic utility by intersecting 346 MG-related targets and 7214 SCI-related targets. The top 10 identified genes, ranking in descending order of value, were SRC, STAT3, MAPK1, HSP90AA1, PIK3R1, PIK3CA, RXRA, AKT1, CREBBP, and JAK2. Through enrichment analysis and literature search, 10 signaling pathways were screened out. The molecular docking of important drugs and hub targets revealed that some had a higher binding affinity. The results of quantitative PCR indicated that MAPK1, RXRA, and STAT3 were expressed differently in in vitro experiments. Conclusion. In conclusion, the current work indicated that MG might play an anti-SCI role via multicomponent, multitarget, and multichannel interaction, which presents a novel idea for further research into the precise mechanism of MG-anti-SCI interaction.

    Abstract: In the context of China’s carbon summit strategy, as renewable clean energy, the development and utilization of shallow geothermal energy has broad prospects. Based on the analysis of the occurrence conditions of shallow geothermal energy in Nanchang City, the suitability zoning of the ground source heat pump project in Nanchang City is studied by using the analytic hierarchy process. The results show that Nanchang is very suitable for the construction of the ground source heat pump system. Among them, the suitable area of the groundwater ground source heat pump is 252.17 km2, the basically suitable area is 133.64 km2, and the unsuitable area is 124.29 km2. The suitable area of the buried pipe ground source heat pump is 180.49 km2, the basically suitable area is 320.82 km2, and the unsuitable area is 8.79 km2. The evaluation results can provide a basis for the development and utilization of shallow geothermal energy in Nanchang.

    Abstract: The carbon footprint of the cold chain logistics system refers to the greenhouse gas emissions directly or indirectly caused in each link of the cold chain logistics activities. Because cold chain logistics is the main carbon emitter in the field of logistics, research on how to reduce carbon emissions in the field of cold chain logistics plays an important role in energy conservation and emission reduction. Based on the in-depth analysis of the carbon footprint of cold chain logistics, this paper introduces the distance coefficient and freshness parameters into the optimization model innovatively and uses the life cycle assessment method and input-output method to determine the calculation range of the carbon footprint of fresh products of each link in the cold chain logistics. The system calculates the carbon emissions generated by the production and operation activities of each place of origin, distribution center, retailer, and waste disposal during the circulation of fresh products. This paper establishes a carbon footprint optimization model to discuss how to balance carbon constraints and minimized costs. Through the analysis of the simulation results, from the perspective of the government and enterprises, corresponding countermeasures are put forward to more effectively achieve the goal of energy conservation and emission reduction and guide the cold chain logistics industry to sustainable development.

    Abstract: Due to the complexity of construction technology and the seriousness of the safety situation in subway tunnels, it is urgent to find a risk-control method to monitor and evaluate the construction safety risk system of the subway shield tunnel and to avoid the occurrence of safety risk accidents. Based on the fuzzy entropy theory, this paper establishes a comprehensive index system for the construction safety risk system of shield tunnels. Also, in order to quantitatively analyze the coupling degree among various factors in the safety risk system, the calculation model of coupling degree is established based on the theory of coupling degree in physics. Taking Tianjin subway project as an example, the coupling degree of its safety risk system is calculated. The result shows that the coupling degree of the safety risk system is 0.6997, which indicates that the whole safety risk system is in high-risk coupling level. Due to the system in an unbalanced development stage, the coupling movement between various factors has a great destructive effect on the construction safety risk system of the subway shield tunnel. This model can not only identify the main risk factors affecting the safety risk system but also monitor the coupling status of the safety risk system in real time and master its development stage. By controlling the main risk factors affecting the safety risk system, the coupling degree of the safety risk system and the probability of the safety risk accident occurrence can be reduced.

    Abstract: For mobile robots and location-based services, precise and real-time positioning is one of the most basic capability, and low-cost positioning solutions are increasingly in demand and have broad market potential. In this paper, we innovatively design a high-accuracy and real-time indoor localization system based on visible light positioning (VLP) and mobile robot. First of all, we design smart LED lamps with VLC and Bluetooth control functions for positioning. The design of LED lamps includes hardware design and Bluetooth control. Furthermore, founded on the loose coupling characteristics of ROS (Robot Operator System), we design a VLP-based robot system with VLP information transmitted by designed LED, dynamic tracking algorithm of high robustness, LED-ID recognition algorithm, and triple-light positioning algorithm. We implemented the VLP-based robot positioning system on ROS in an office equipped with the designed LED lamps, which can realize cm-level positioning accuracy of 3.231 cm and support the moving speed up to 20 km/h approximately. This paper pushes forward the development of VLP application in indoor robots, showing the great potential of VLP for indoor robot positioning.
