    Abstract: Oblivious transfer (OT) is one of the keystones of secure multi-party computation. It is generally believed that unconditionally secure OT is impossible. In this article, we propose a practical and secure quantum all-or-nothing oblivious transfer protocol based on the quantum one-way function. The protocol is built upon a quantum public-key encryption construction, and its security relies on the no-cloning theorem and no-communication theorem. Practical security is reflected in limitations on non-demolition measurements.

    Abstract: Recently, mental health has received increasing attention, particularly preoperative anxiety, which constitutes a bad emotional experience for surgical patients. Many experts have studied preoperative anxiety in terms of its related risk factors, interventions, and postoperative effects; however, there has been no systematic analysis of published articles. This paper presents a bibliometric review of documents related to preoperative anxiety published between 2001 and 2021. A detailed data analysis of 1,596 publications was conducted using CiteSpace and VOSviewer. Since the 20th century, the field of preoperative anxiety has gradually developed; research began around 2000 and has made a huge leap forward since 2016. Developed countries, led by the United States, were the first to conduct research, but preoperative anxiety research in developing countries like Turkey and China has gradually increased and led to an irreplaceable contribution. Intervention has remained the main topic of preoperative anxiety research, and measures have developed from premedication to the provision of education and information. Moreover, the use of advanced equipment such as virtual reality has emerged with great popularity. Based on previous research, the application of virtual reality combined with pediatric patients will become a new research direction.

    Abstract: Perceived stigma has greatly influenced the life quality of the COVID-19 patients who recovered and were discharged (RD hereafter). It is essential to understand COVID-19 stigma of RD and its related risk factors. The current study aims to identify the characteristics of perceived COVID-19 stigma in RD using latent profile analysis (LPA), to explore its psycho-social influencing factors, and to determine the cut-off point of the stigma scale using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) analysis. Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted among COVID-19 RD in 13 communities in Jianghan District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China from June 10 to July 25, 2021, enrolling total 1,297 participants. Data were collected on demographic characteristics, COVID-19 perceived stigma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, sleep disorder, fatigue, resilience, social support, and peace of mind. LPA was performed to identify different profiles of perceived COVID-19 stigma level. Univariate analysis and multinominal logistic regression analysis were conducted to explore the influencing factors in different profiles. ROC analyses was carried out to identify the cut-off value of perceived stigma. Results Among the participants, three profiles of perceived stigma were identified: “low perceived COVID-19 stigma” (12.8%), “moderate perceived COVID-19 stigma” (51.1%), and “severe perceived COVID-19 stigma” (36.1%). Multinominal logistic regression analysis revealed that older age, living with other people, anxiety, and sleep disorder were positively associated with moderate perceived COVID-19 stigma, while higher educational level was negatively associated with moderate perceived COVID-19 stigma. Female, older age, living with other people, anxiety, and sleep disorder were positively associated with severe perceived COVID-19 stigma, while higher educational level, social support, and peace of mind were negatively associated with severe perceived COVID-19 stigma. ROC curve of the Short Version of COVID-19 Stigma Scale (CSS-S) for screening perceived COVID-19 stigma showed that the optimal cut-off value was ≥ 20. Conclusion The study focuses on the issue of perceived COVID-19 stigma and its psycho-socio influencing factors. It provides evidence for implementing relevant psychological interventions to COVID-19 RD.

    Abstract: Water spinach ( Ipomoea aquatica Forsk) is an essential green leafy vegetable in Asia. In this study, we induced autotetraploid water spinach by colchicine. Furthermore, DNA methylation and transcriptome of tetraploid and diploid were compared using Whole Genome Bisulfite Sequencing (WGBS) and RNA-sequencing techniques. Autotetraploid water spinach was created for the first time. Compared with the diploid parent, autotetraploid water spinach had wider leaves, thicker petioles and stems, thicker and shorter adventitious roots, longer stomas, and larger parenchyma cells. The whole genome methylation level of the autotetraploid was slightly higher than that of the diploid. Compared with the diploid, 12281 Differentially Methylated Regions (DMRs)were found in the autotetraploid, including 2356 hypermethylated and 1310 hypomethylated genes, mainly enriched in ‘Arginine and Proline metabolism’, ‘beta − Alanine metabolism’, ‘Plant homone signal translation’, ‘Ribome’, and ‘Plant − pathgen interaction’ pathways. Correlation analysis of transcriptome and DNA methylation data showed that 121 differentially expressed genes undergone differential methylation, related to four pathways ‘Other types of O-glycan biosynthesis’, ‘Terpenoid backbone biosynthesis’, ‘Biosynthesis of secondary metabolites’, and ‘Metabolic paths’. This work obtained important autotetraploid resources of water spinach and revealed the genomic DNA methylation changes after genome doubling, being helpful for further studying the molecular mechanism of variations caused by polyploids of the Ipomoea genus.

    Abstract: Micro-Nano optics is one of the most active frontiers in the current development of optics. It combines the cutting-edge achievements of photonics and nanotechnology, which can realize many brand-new functions on the basis of local electromagnetic interactions and become an indispensable key science and technology of the 21st century. Micro-Nano optics is also an important development direction of the new optoelectronics industry at present. It plays an irreplaceable role in optical communication, optical interconnection, optical storage, sensing imaging, sensing measurement, display, solid-state lighting, biomedicine, security, green energy, and other fields. In this paper, we will summarize the research status of micro-nano optics, and analyze it from four aspects: micro-nano luminescent materials and devices, micro-nano optical waveguide materials and devices, micro-nano photoelectric detection materials and devices, and micro-nano optical structures and devices. Finally, the future development of micro-nano optics will be prospected.

    Abstract: Purpose: Computer-aided diagnostic methods were used to compare the characteristics of the Original COVID-19 and its Delta Variant. Methods: This was a retrospective study. A deep learning segmentation model was applied to segment lungs and infections in CT. Three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction was used to create 3D models of the patient’s lungs and infections. A stereoscopic segmentation method was proposed, which can subdivide the 3D lung into five lobes and 18 segments. An expert-based CT scoring system was improved and artificial intelligence was used to automatically score instead of visual score. Non-linear regression and quantitative analysis were used to analyze the dynamic changes in the percentages of infection (POI). Results: The POI in the five lung lobes of all patients were calculated and converted into CT scores. The CT scores of Original COVID-19 patients and Delta Variant patients since the onset of initial symptoms were fitted over time, respectively. The peak was found to occur on day 11 in Original COVID-19 patients and on day 15 in Delta Variant patients. The time course of lung changes in CT of Delta Variant patients was redetermined as early stage (0–3 days), progressive and peak stage (4–16 days), and absorption stage (17–42 days). The first RT-PCR negative time in Original COVID-19 patients appeared earlier than in Delta Variant patients (22 [17–30] vs. 39 [31–44] , p & lt; 0.001). Delta Variant patients had more re-detectable positive RT-PCR test results than Original COVID-19 patients after the first negative RT-PCR time (30.5% vs. 17.1%). In the early stage, CT scores in the right lower lobe were significantly different (Delta Variant vs. Original COVID-19, 0.8 ± 0.6 vs. 1.3 ± 0.6, p = 0.039). In the absorption stage, CT scores of the right middle lobes were significantly different (Delta Variant vs. Original COVID-19, 0.6 ± 0.7 vs. 0.3 ± 0.4, p = 0.012). The left and the right lower lobes contributed most to lung involvement at any given time. Conclusion: Compared with the Original COVID-19, the Delta Variant has a longer lung change duration, more re-detectable positive RT-PCR test results, different locations of pneumonia, and more lesions in the early stage, and the peak of infection occurred later.

    Abstract: Blood glucose disorders are prevalent in heart failure, while the influence of the gut microbiota on this process remains unclear. Here, we used heart failure model mice and fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) mice to evaluate the effect of the gut microbiota on the regulation of blood glucose during heart failure. Methods Thoracic aortic constriction (TAC) surgery was performed in a heart failure model, while an antibiotic cocktail was used to eliminate the microbiota to establish a germ-free (GF) model. Blood glucose, insulin, and glucagon levels were measured, and an intraperitoneal glucose tolerance test (IPGTT) was performed. 16S rRNA sequencing and metabolomics were used to evaluate the changes in gut microbiota structure and metabolism induced by TAC. Another group of FMT mice was established to observe the effect of the gut microbiota on host metabolism. Results After microbiota clearance, the glucagon concentration, the homeostasis model assessment for insulin resistance (HOMA-IR), and the area under the curve (AUC) of the IPGTT were decreased significantly in the TAC germ-free (TAC-GF) group in the third month as compared to the other groups. 16S rRNA sequencing indicated that TAC surgery affected the gut microbiota structure, and fecal metabolomics suggested that noradrenaline and adrenaline levels were higher in the TAC group than in the sham group. The FMT mice transplanted with the feces of the TAC (FMT-TAC) mice displayed a higher AUC of IPGTT, accompanied by a higher glucagon level, insulin level, and HOMA-IR than those of the mice in the other groups. The serum metabolomics of the FMT-TAC group showed that noradrenaline levels were significantly higher than those of the FMT-sham group. Conclusion The gut microbiota and its metabolism were altered during heart failure, which increased blood glucose and glucagon in the host.

    Abstract: Cardiovascular disease not only occurs in the elderly but also tends to become a common social health problem. Considering the fast pace of modern life, quantified heart rate variability (HRV) indicators combined with the convenience of wearable devices are of great significance for intelligent telemedicine. To quantify the changes in human mental state, this article proposes an improved differential threshold algorithm for R-wave detection and recognition of electrocardiogram (ECG) signals. Methods HRV is a specific quantitative indicator of autonomic nerve regulation of the heart. The recognition rate is increased by improving the starting position of R wave and the time-window function of the traditional differential threshold method. The experimental platform is a wearable sign monitoring system constructed based on body area networks (BAN) technology. Analytic hierarchy process (AHP) is used to construct the mental stress assessment model, the weight judgment matrix is constructed according to the influence degree of HRV analysis parameters on mental stress, and the consistency check is carried out to obtain the weight value of the corresponding HRV analysis parameters. Results Experimental results show that the recognition rate of R wave of real-time 5 min ECG data collected by this algorithm is & gt;99%. The comprehensive index of HRV based on weight matrix can greatly reduce the deviation caused by the measurement error of each parameter. Compared with traditional characteristic wave recognition algorithms, the proposed algorithm simplifies the process, has high real-time performance, and is suitable for wearable analysis devices with low-configuration requirements. Conclusion Our algorithm can describe the mental stress of the body quantitatively and meet the requirements of application demonstration.
