Abstract: This paper focuses on the Fe59.5Ni28Al11.5Ta1 memory alloy, in which the effects of different aging treatments on microstructure and properties of the rolled alloy are investigated by metallurgical microscope, X-ray diffraction, SEM, EDS and pressure test machine. Results show that, because of aging treatment, precipitation of γ’ and β’ phase strengthens the austenitic matrix. With the increase of aging time at 600 ℃, the comprehensive analysis of pseudoelasticity curve, shows that the stress-induced martensite critical stress of the aging state of the alloy decreases first and then increases; the alloy compressive strength, the recoverable strain and the hardness increase first and then decrease, Besides, the alloy residual strain is first decreased and then increased. When the aging time is 60 h, the alloy compressive strength is the maximum, up to 1306 MPa, the alloy recoverable deformation is the maximum, reaching 14.9%, the hardness of the alloy is also the largest, but the alloy residual strain is relative minimum. With the increase of aging time, alloy maximum strain decreases gradually, and the plasticity of the alloy also decreases gradually. The properties of the shape memory alloy are influenced by the particle size, its distribution, volume fraction, of precipitate phase etc.

Abstract: The structure and Curie temperature of Y2(Fe1-x-y,Coy ,Crx)17 c ompounds have been investigated by means of x_ray diffraction and magnetization measurement. The Y2(Fe1-x-y,Coy,Crx) 17 compounds have a hexago nal Th2Ni17_type structure. With increasing x, the unit_ce ll volumes of Y2Fe17-xCrx and Y2CoFe16-xCrx compounds have a small decreas e initially, followed by a greater decrease. It is proved that the magnetic inte raction of Fe atoms at 4f sites of Y2Fe17 compound is anti ferromagnetic by studying the variation of Curie temperature of Y2(Fe1-x-y,Coy,Crx )17 compounds. The result also shows that a few Co and Cr atoms subst ituti ng for Fe atoms can enhance Curie temperature of Y2(Fe1-x-y,Coy,Crx)17 obviously.

Abstract: Solar-blind UV photodetectors (SBPs) have attracted great attention because they are widely used in missile tracking, fire detection, biochemical analysis, astronomical observations, space-to-space communications, etc. At present, it is found that wide bandgap semiconductor materials such as Al〈sub〉〈i〉x〈/i〉〈/sub〉Ga〈sub〉1-〈i〉x〈/i〉〈/sub〉N, Mg〈sub〉1〈/sub〉Zn〈sub〉1-〈i〉x〈/i〉〈/sub〉O, diamond and 〈i〉β〈/i〉-Ga〈sub〉2〈/sub〉O〈sub〉3〈/sub〉 are ideal semiconductor materials for developing high-performance SBPs. The ultra-wide band gap semiconductor material, 〈i〉β〈/i〉-Ga〈sub〉2〈/sub〉O〈sub〉3〈/sub〉, has a large band gap width of 4.9 eV, strong breakdown electric field, absorption edge located in the solar blind ultraviolet band (200–280 nm), and it also has high transmittance in the near ultraviolet and the whole visible band. Therefore, 〈i〉β〈/i〉-Ga〈sub〉2〈/sub〉O〈sub〉3〈/sub〉 is a very suitable material for making solar blind UV photodetectors. However, the p-type 〈i〉β〈/i〉-Ga〈sub〉2〈/sub〉O〈sub〉3〈/sub〉 is difficult to dope, which limits the further development of 〈i〉β〈/i〉-Ga〈sub〉2〈/sub〉O〈sub〉3〈/sub〉 devices. In this work, the 〈i〉β〈/i〉-Ga〈sub〉2〈/sub〉O〈sub〉3〈/sub〉 thin films with different Cu doping content are grown on sapphire substrates by chemical vapor deposition method, and the morphology, crystal structure and optical properties of 〈i〉β〈/i〉-Ga〈sub〉2〈/sub〉O〈sub〉3〈/sub〉 films are measured. The test results show that the surfaces of 〈i〉β〈/i〉-Ga〈sub〉2〈/sub〉O〈sub〉3〈/sub〉 films with different Cu content are relatively smooth, and the (〈inline-formula〉〈tex-math id="M2"〉\begin{document}$ \bar 201 $\end{document}〈/tex-math〉〈alternatives〉〈graphic xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" xlink:href="19-20230971_M2.jpg"/〉〈graphic xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink" xlink:href="19-20230971_M2.png"/〉〈/alternatives〉〈/inline-formula〉) diffraction peak positions shift toward the lower degree side with the increase of Cu content, which indicates that Cu〈sup〉2+〈/sup〉 replaces Ga〈sup〉3+〈/sup〉 and enters into the 〈i〉β〈/i〉-Ga〈sub〉2〈/sub〉O〈sub〉3〈/sub〉 lattice. The optical absorption spectrum measurement indicates that the energy gaps of samples are evidently narrowed with the increase of Cu doping concentration. Hall measurements indicate that the Cu doped 〈i〉β〈/i〉-Ga〈sub〉2〈/sub〉O〈sub〉3〈/sub〉 thin films have a p-type conductivity with a hole concentration of 7.36 × 10〈sup〉14〈/sup〉, 4.83 × 10〈sup〉15〈/sup〉 and 1.69 × 10〈sup〉16 〈/sup〉cm〈sup〉–3〈/sup〉, respectively. In addition, a photoconductive UV detector with metal-semiconductor-metal structure is prepared by evaporating Au on a Cu-doped 〈i〉β〈/i〉-Ga〈sub〉2〈/sub〉O〈sub〉3〈/sub〉 thin film, and its UV detection performance is studied. The results show that the photocurrent value of the device increases with Cu content increasing. The photo-to-dark current ratio (〈i〉I〈/i〉〈sub〉l〈/sub〉/〈i〉I〈/i〉〈sub〉d〈/sub〉) is about 3.8×10〈sup〉2〈/sup〉 of 2.4% Cu content device under 254 nm-wavelength light at 10 V. The rise time and decay time are 0.11 s and 0.13 s, respectively. Furthermore, the responsivity and external quantum efficiency can reach 1.72 A/W and 841% under 254 nm-wavelength light with a light intensity of 64 μW/cm〈sup〉2〈/sup〉.

Abstract: The change of phase space and periodic modulation of Fermi gas from the BCS to unitarity is investigated in one-dimensional optical lattice. Through controlling the scattering length and coupling constant in unitarity, we find the critical values (from the Josephson oscillation to the oscillating-phase-type self-trapping and from the latter to the self-trapping), at the same time, we also find the relationship between the critical coupling constants and the scattering length.

Abstract: Inductively coupled plasma generator is one of the core components of the near-space high-speed target plasma electromagnetic scientific experimental research device, which is often used to simulate high enthalpy and high speed plasma sheath environment. In order to study the discharge characteristics of inductively coupled plasma generator under high power, radio frequency and medium pressure, the numerical simulation and experiment are combined to study its internal heat transfer and flow characteristics in this paper. Based on the local thermodynamic equilibrium conditions, the numerical simulation of large-scale radio frequency and medium pressure inductively coupled plasma with a power of 100–400 kW is carried out through the multi-field coupling of flow, electromagnetic and temperature field, and verified by light intensity and spectrum experiment. The results show that the electromagnetic field distribution in the high-power thermal balance inductively coupled plasma generator is similar to that of the small- and medium-sized power plasma generator. The discharge energy dissipation occurs mainly in the area where the induction coil is located. The temperature of the inner wall of the quartz tube is higher at the coil location than in other areas, and the plasma has a ring-shaped high-temperature structure. The outer wall of the quartz tube is set to be the boundary condition of heat flux for simulating the temperature change of the quartz tube under cold blowing. This setting is in coincidence with factual situations. The wall temperature of the quartz tube at the entrance and at the induction coil section are found to be relatively high. When the large-size inductively coupled plasma generator works, an obvious return vortex is generated at the entrance due to the temperature difference and the electromagnetic pumping effect, and the exit velocity increases slightly with the increase of power. At the same time, the discharge experiment under the corresponding conditions shows that there is found a ring structure with bright edges and dark centers in the axial image of the argon discharge. Moreover, the emission spectrum of argon plasma is measured through the spectrum diagnosis system and the spatial distribution of the generator electron temperature is obtained. The light intensity of the discharge image and the electron temperature measured by the spectrum are found to be in comparative coincidence with the COMSOL simulation temperature result, demonstrating the validity of the numerical simulation results under thermodynamic equilibrium conditions. The numerical simulation results in this paper are also applicable to the optimization design and temperature resistance evaluation of the inductively coupled plasma generator.

Abstract: The interaction between the solar wind plasma and the bias electric field of long conducting tethers is the basic operation mechanism of the electric sail thruster. A two-dimensional (2D) full particle model is established to investigate the momentum transfer process between the solar wind plasma and parallel conducting tethers, while normal incidence and oblique incidence of the solar wind are taken into account. To ensure the accuracy and stability of the present PIC method, we take a grid space step of 2.5 m that is smaller than the Debye length and a time step of 162.5 ns that is limited by the plasma frequency. The main features including the spatial electric potential and ion number density distribution are represented under the influences of tether distance and solar wind incidence angle, in addition, the effect of the bias voltage on momentum transfer process is analyzed. At a steady state, the number of electrons is slightly higher than that of ions, owing to the attraction of the positive potential of tethers. Different tether distances (i.e., from 15 m to 85 m) are taken and show that a high potential bias voltage of tethers can slow down, cease, reflect and deflect a large number of ions, resulting in a plasma cavity in the vicinity of the tethers. An ion trap forms and captures many ions, owing to the interaction between the sheaths of the two conducting tethers. In general, a bias voltage of 1 kV produces a thrust of 30 nN/m with two tethers, on the assumption that the solar wind incomes normally. If we increase the distance between two conducting tethers, both trap captured ions and thrust show a first increase and then decrease trend. Furthermore, the investigations of the solar wind oblique incidence show that the thrust of the electric sail is determined by its attitude and is separated into force components in two directions:a horizontal force that is along the solar wind and a lift force that is perpendicular to the solar wind. We conclude that the present work first shows that the lift force is less than zero when the tether plane leans to the right, and greater than zero if the tether plane turns left. The increasing of the pitch angle leads to a variation of the thrust from -40° to 40°. The presented dependence of the thrust on the attitude of the tether plane provides an important reference for the optimal design of the orbit dynamics of the electric sail spacecraft.

Abstract: In this paper we combine stable noise with bistable stochastic resonance to investigate the parameter-induced stochastic resonance in the high-and low-frequency (both for multi-frequency) weak signal detection with different stable noise, and explore the action laws between the stability index (0 2) and skewness parameter (-1 1) of stable noise, and the resonance system parameters a, b on the resonant output effect. Results show that for different distribution of stable noise, the high- and low-frequency weak signal detection can be realized by tuning the system parameters a and b. The intervals of a and b which can induce stochastic resonances are multiple, and do not change with or . Moreover, while detecting the high- and low-frequency weak signal, the action laws of the resonant output effect which are affected by or are the same. These results will contribute to realize a reasonable selection of parameter-induced stochastic resonance system parameters under stable noise, and lay the foundation for a practical engineering application of multi-frequency weak signal detection based on the stochastic resonance.

Abstract: The elementary excitation spectra of the one-dimensional spin-1/2 XY model in the ferrimagnetic diamond chain at low temperature are calculated by using invariant eigenvector in this paper. And the elementary excitation energies in different cases are discussed. Therefore, analytic solutions of the three critical magnetic field intensities HC1, HC2 and Hpeak in the system are given. It is found that the analytic solutions of three critical magnetic field intensities are correct from the law of the magnetization changing with temperature under different external magnetic fields, and it is explained by the contributions of the three elementary excitations to the magnetization. The external magnetic field dependent magnetization presents a 1/3 magnetized plateau at low temperature. The variation of magnetic susceptibility either with temperature or with external magnetic field shows a double peak structure, this phenomenon indicates that the double peak structure originates from the competition among the ferromagnetic exchange interaction energy of intramolecular electronic spin parallel arrangement in dimer, the antiferromagnetic exchange interaction energy of intermolecular electronic spin antiparallel arrangement in dimer-monomer, the thermal disorder energy and the spin magnetic moment potential energy related to external magnetic field.

Abstract: Based on the photoisomerization and photoinduced birefringence in azo-containing polymers, a theoretical model for all-optical logic gates is developed and a novel scheme of all-optical logic gates using pump-probe technique is presented theoretically and realized experimentally. The all-optical logic AND, OR, XOR and XNOR gate operations have been demonstrated experimentally based on the modulation of intensity or polarization of the pump beam and signal. The experimental results show a good performance, which are in agreement with the theoretical prediction.

Abstract: Large contact resistance due to Fermi level pinning effect at the interface between metal and n-type Ge strongly restricts the performance of Ge device on Si substrate. In this paper, the contacts of metal Al and Ni with n-type Ge and p-type Ge epitaxial layers grown by UHV/CVD are comparatively studied. It is found that the contact of NiGe/n-Ge is better than that of Al/n-Ge at the same dopant concentration. When the concentration of P is 21019 cm-3, the ohmic contact of NiGe/n-Ge with c down to 1.4310-5 cm2 is demomstrated, which is about one order of magnitude lower than that of Al/n-Ge contact. The specific contact resistance of NiGe/p-Ge is 1.6810-5 cm2 when the B concentration is 4.21018 cm-3, corresponding to that of Al/p-Ge. Compared with Al/n-Ge contact, P segregation at the interface between NiGe and Ge, rather than lowering Schottky barrier height, is the main reseaon for achieving the low specific contact resistance. NiGe/Ge contact should be a good choice for contact electrode for Ge devices at present.
