Abstract:
Carboxin, a systemic fungicide, greatly retards low temperature‐induced discoloration in zoysia and bermudagrass. Zoysia plants sprayed with 0.5 to 2% carboxin solutions retained their green color for 4 to 6 weeks at 2 to 4 C and 1800 ft‐c illumination; untreated plants became yellow‐brown under these conditions.
