Zusammenfassung Ein Teil der Ileusbehandlung besteht in der Absaugung des Darminhaltes mittels Intestinalsonden. Die Schwierigkeiten der Sondenplazierung in das Duodenum mittels Lagerungstechnik werden durch endoskopisches Einführen der Sonde umgangen. Bei 102 endoskopisch gelegten Intestinalsonden gelang die Einführung in 90 %; bei 68 durch Lagerung gelegte Sonden nur in 67 %. Die massive, therapieresistente Colondistension kann durch Absaugen über das Coloskop behandelt werden. Bei 38 derartigen Coloskopien gelang dies in 90 %. Beide Methoden sind vom Geübten schnell und ohne Komplikation durchzuführen.

Summary Ileus treatment consists partly in draining off the contents of the intestine using intestinal tubes. The endoscopic method avoids the problem of inserting the tube into the duodenum by changing the patient's position. In 102 cases of endoscopic tube insertion a success rate of 90 % was achieved, whereas of the 68 insertions using the “positioning” technique only 67 % were successful. The massive distention of the colon can be treated by drainage through the coloscope. Of 28 such coloscopies, 90 % were successful. Both methods can be performed quickly and without complications by surgeons who are experienced in endoscopy.
