Abstract: The electronic absorption spectrum of the spherocrystal of bellingerite 3Cu(IO3)2·2H2O, was measured, two strong absorption bands appeared at 9140 cm-1 and 15250 cm-1. The low-symmetric crystal field splitting, which is as great as 6110cm-1, was observed for the first time. Resolving the absorption curve, we obtained 8 Gauss-type absorption peaks at 8590, 10690, 10870, 12190, 13500, 14510, 15330 and 16500 cm-1, respectively. By analyzing its EPR spectrum, we got g=2.141±0.004. The experimental results were discussed quantitatively using the ligand field theory and the radial wave function, of nonfree copper(II). The calculated values were in agreement with the experimental results. Thus the electronic structure of bellingerite crystal was interpreted comprehensively.

Abstract: The temperature dependence of the linewidth of the 7Li NMR spectrum line of LISICON crystals with different compositions and orientations has been investigated from 124 to 480k. It was found that there are three transition points of Li+ ion motion at ~273 K, ~350 K (for polycrystal ~320 K) and ~400 K respectively. The special behaviour of the electric quadrupole effects has been observed and discussed.

Abstract: The FID arising from the quadrupole interaction is broken into a rotational echo train under the slow rotation condition, and the number of these echoes increases when adjusting the angle between the rotational axis and the applied magnetic field towards the Magic Angle. Thus, a accurate and quick setting of the Magic Angle in MAS-NMR experiments can he easily obtained by this phenomenon. It is theoretically explained by analysing the FID of a spin-1 system. The setting accuracy within 0.05°with a per-deuterated HMB sample is experimentally demonstrated.

Abstract: In this paper we present clearly a set of postulates on probabilities which are the basis of the nonlinear master equations and multivariate linear master equations appeared in non-equilibibrium statistical physics. By using the methods of probability theory, we deduced these master equations from our general postulates. We further discussed the conditions under which the master equations are consistent with the macroscopic kinetic equations. Finally, we discussed the fluctuation in Brusselator model using multivariate linear master equation approach and made a preliminary explanation on the appearance of dissipative structure through fluctuation.

Abstract: The Coulomb coupling、the Kazama-Yang coupling-кqβ∑·r/2Mr3 and the coupling iкzzde2γ·r/2Mr3 between a charged spin-1/2 fermion and a Dirac dyon are considered simultaneously. It is shown that for all the angular momentum states the fermion's radial wave functions have the physically reasonable asymptotic behavior at the origin. The bound state condition is qualitatively analysed. We show that, in the fixed dyon field when the extra magnetic moment к→0, the bound states of fermion exist, but in the fixed monopole field when к→0, the bound states of fermion do not exist.

Abstract: It is found that there is an empirical correlation between the superconducting transition temperatures Tc and the Hall coefficients RH of amorphous states in numerous non-transition metals and alleys. The same correlation is also exist between the superconducting transition temperatures Tc of amorphous states and the Hall coefficients RHL, of corresponding liquid metals. Prom these empirical correlations we judge that disordered metals, including bismuth thalium zinc, lead and mercury, which have been reported up to now, remain to be not really amorphous.

Abstract: In this paper, by using the concepts " entropy production" and "excess entropy production", the Lyaponov stability of the master equation in linear and nonlinear range has been discussed. The results obtained are consistent with the stability theory of the time evolution equation of macroscopic non-equilibrium systems discussed by I. Prigo-gine. In addition, the concept of "probability flow" is proposed for the multivariable master equation of the stochastic model of non-equilibrium systems, and the method of decomposition of "probability flow" is given.

Abstract: A single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis has been performed on fergusonite BiVO4 synthesized by pulling method. At room temperature the crystal belongs to monoclinic system, with space group B2/b, z = 4, and cell parameters a = 7.247?, b=5.096?, c = 11.702? and r =134.18o. The structure has been analysed by two and three-dimensional Patterson procedure, and calculated through three-dimensional electron density. A full-matrix, least square refinement gave R=0.067, Rw =0.058 for 335 independent reflections. An absorption and secondary extinction correction gave final R = 0.058. The Bi and V atoms occupy a respective set of 4e special positions and the O atoms two sets of general positions. The oxygen atoms take part in four-fold coordinations around vanadium in the sense that they form regular VO4 tetrahedra. The structure also shows eight-fold oxygen coordinations around bismuth and form distorted Bi-O dodecahedron. The space groups for temperatures above and below Tc are found to be I41/a and 12/b (or B2/b) respectivelv. The phase transition from tetragonal to monoclinic does skip over a possible intermediate orthorhombic modification. The phase transition is apparently driven by a lone-pair distortion of the Bi-O polyhedron. Bi3+ and V5+ displace alternatively up and down along the c axis, resulting in a layer-like Character for monoclinic BiVO4 The character has been proved by optical observations. The BiVO4 crystal cleaves easily to give smooth (cleavage) faces parallel to plane perpendicular to the c axis.Three kinds of samples, i.e crystals with cell-like structure and disc shape, crystal ribbon with natural cleavage and powder crystal grain, were used for optical observation, and the relationship between the transmittance of BiVO4 and optical wave-length was studied.

Abstract: A single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis has been performed on LiErP4O12 Synthesized by the flux method. The crystal belongs to monoclinic system with space group C2/c, z=4, and cell parameters α=16.229?, b=7.009?, c=9.524? and β=125.92°. A full-matrix least square refinement with secondary extinction as a structure parameter gave R=0.058 for 1282 independent reflections. The basic structural units are helical ribbons, (PO3)n, formed by corner-sharing tetraheclra of PO4. The ErO8 dodecahedra are isolated from each other in the sense that they do not share any O atoms.
