Abstract:
In this paper we report the effect of Ce content and heat treatment of magnetic field on the superconductivity of Y 1−y Ce x Ba 2 Cu 3 O 7−y system. When x≤0.7, it changes to superconductor with T c R=0 〉 85K. When x=0.5, T c R=0 =89.5K. The results of susceptibility show that in the course of superconductive transformation it follow the change paramagnetism→antiferromagnetism (misctmagnetism)→diamagnetism. X-ray structural analysis shows that at x=0.7 the major phase has hexagonal crystalline structure (a=14.906 Å, c=12.909Å), after magnetic field heat treatment the major phase changes to orthorhombic perovskite structure (a=3.822Å, b=3.887Å, c=11.693Å).
