Abstract:
High- T c superconducting thick films were prepared using a method of combined grain shape alignment and magnetic field alignment by orthogonal alignment forces. Superconducting films with a thickness of about 100 µm exhibiting T c (0)=91 K were successfully obtained. We confirmed the grain alignment of thick Y1Ba 2 Cu 3 O 7- y and Y 0.5 Dy 0.5 Ba 2 Cu 3 O 7- y films by means of the X-ray diffraction method. As a result, the grain alignment is produced with an increase in the heat treatment temperature and time in a magnetic field. The alignment ratio of Y 0.5 Dy 0.5 Ba 2 Cu 3 O 7- y , which is Y 1 Ba 2 Cu 3 O 7- y with the Y-site doped with high-magnetic-moment and high-anisotropy rare earth, is higher than that of the Y 1 Ba 2 Cu 3 O 7- y .
