Abstract: We examined the usefulness of information cards provided to women disclosing intimate partner violence at a healthcare visit. In general, women most in need of services were more likely to keep and use the card, suggesting that the card may be an important way of linking women to services.

Abstract: The Panel will discuss the emerging issue of “knowledge mobilization”, problematizing it as articulated by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, and engaging the audience in critical discussion of the potential benefits and harms of mandated knowledge mobilization requirements linked to unspecified notions of the “public good”.Ce panel discutera du thème émergent de la « mobilisation de la connaissance », problématisé tel qu’articulé par le Conseil de recherches en sciences humaines du Canada.

Abstract: Various models of community health information delivery exist in Canada. Spiraling health care costs have many governments seeking to promote more judicious (and presumably more cost-effective) use of health care by consumers. One such method is through centralized, government-run health information services that rely heavily on information and communication technologies.
