Abstract: We have fabricated the patterned porous honeycomb-like film with the aggregation-induced emission (AIE) property successfully by breath figure method. Characterization of contact angles (CA) indicated that the patterned porous honeycomb structure can improve the hydrophobicity of the film, while smooth films do not have this function. Characterization of the fluorescence property indicates that the patterned honeycomb structure films are highly emissive. This work could not only be promising for controlling molecular group reorientation and suitable for the application of manipulating surface composition of the film but also make the tetraphenylethene derivatives with AIE properties have a promising application future in special wettability surface. The present findings should open a way for the new application of honeycomb structure materials, which will be useful in many areas, such as sensors, tissue engineering, clinical medicine, and biomaterials.

Abstract: Solar aided coal-fired power plants utilize various types of solar thermal energy for coupling coal-fired power plants by using the characteristics of various thermal needs of the plants. In this way, the costly thermal storage system and power generating system will be unnecessary while the intermittent and unsteady way of power generation will be avoided. Moreover, the large-scale utilization of solar thermal power and the energy-saving aim of power plants will be realized. The contribution evaluating system of solar thermal power needs to be explored. This paper deals with the evaluation method of solar contribution based on the second law of thermodynamics and the principle of thermoeconomics with a case of 600 MW solar aided coal-fired power plant. In this study, the feasibility of the method has been carried out. The contribution of this paper is not only to determine the proportion of solar energy in overall electric power, but also to assign the individual cost components involving solar energy. Therefore, this study will supply the theoretical reference for the future research of evaluation methods and new energy resource subsidy.

Abstract: A vehicle stability control approach for four-wheel independently actuated (FWIA) electric vehicles is presented. The proposed control method consists of a higher-level controller and a lower-level controller. An adaptive control-based higher-level controller is designed to yield the vehicle virtual control efforts to track the desired vehicle motions due to the possible modeling inaccuracies and parametric uncertainties. The lower-level controller considering tire force saturation is given to allocate the required control efforts to the four in-wheel motors for providing the desired tire forces. An analytic method is given to distribute the high-level control efforts, without using the numerical-optimization-based control allocation algorithms. Simulations based on a high-fidelity, CarSim, and full-vehicle model show the effectiveness of the control approach.
