    Kurzfassung: An apparatus is developed in this paper, which surveys the motion law of the CAM follower. The apparatus is comprised of the frame body, motors, transmission system, execution system, control system and data acquisition system. The displacement curve, speed curve and acceleration curve of CAM are drawn by analyzing the signal from the dial indicators. This apparatus can provide technical data for the mechanical principle course as well as scientific research work.

    Kurzfassung: The extracellular polymeric substances (EPS) are susceptible to microbial degradation, highly efficient, non-toxic, no secondary pollution, etc, and are considered to be the most promising biological polymers. At present, EPS have been considered by many researchers as a potential flocculent for their applications in various water, wastewater and sludge treatment process. They are insoluble organic matter adhesive to the cell surface, and they mainly derive from microbial metabolism and cell autolysis, which are mainly composed of polysaccharides, proteins, extracellular DNA. Based on illustrating content, function and structure composition of EPS, the paper reviews the action mechanism of EPS on flocculation and settlement of activated sludge and those flocculation, settlement and dewatering properties in the sewage treatment system. In addition, it summarizes the development trend and application prospect of EPS, which would provide valuable references for further research and application of EPS.

    Kurzfassung: This paper compares three common installation ways of swing arm and carries out simulation analysis by using Adams software. The research results show that when using intercrossed enwinding wirerope, the swing arm will bear alternating load and the load variation range is huge, load G’ will change obviously and bring great impact on system control precision. When using along enwinding wirerope, the swing arm’s load is slightly bigger than wirerope tension and the load variation range is very small, load G’ will be static and it’s easy to get high control precision. By reducing the length of lower swing arm, increasing the length of upper swing arm and the offset distance, its working condition can be improved when using intercrossed enwinding wirerope.

    Kurzfassung: Based on the traffic network in Henan province, the accessibility index is designed by using the population weighted average of inverse of time distance to evaluate the influence of the high-speed railway system on the city accessibilities, and the perfection degree of highway traffic system in the region. The results show that by the early 2016, the accessibility indexes generated by the highway traffic system have the characteristics of normal distribution with relatively obvious differences between cities and relatively unbalanced distribution pattern. The construction of high-speed railway has largely improved the city accessibility levels along the railway lines, makes overall provincial accessibility increasing more than 33.51 percent, and shortens the distance between the accessibility center and population distribution center. However, there is still long distance between them, as the southeast and southwest part in the province with very poor accessibility levels, which should be improved by further perfecting the highway traffic system in these areas in order to maintain a balanced regional economic development.

    Kurzfassung: The reason for the distinct difference in the thermal conductivities of different series of Mg alloys was investigated.The crystallographic lattice parameter and the thermal conductivity of Mg–Zn, Mg–Al, and Mg–Gd binary alloys, which all contain the same atomic percentage of the solutes were measured. The Mg–Zn alloys exhibited the highest thermal conductivity and the smallest lattice distortion, and Mg–Gd alloys exhibited lowest thermal conductivity and largest lattice distortion, respectively. Results indicate that the thermal conductivity of the Mg alloys depends on the difference in atomic radius of the solute and matrix atoms. Therefore, the reason for the Mg-7Gd-5Y-0.5Nd-0.5Zr alloy components have excellent thermal resistance is the serious lattice distortion caused by the significant difference in the atomic radius between the solute and matrix atoms.
