Abstract: In this paper, the influence of double wire submerged arc welding parameters on the mechanical properties of high strength low alloy has been investigated. The 20mm steel plate has been welded by double wire submerged arc welding process using different welding parameters. The Charpy absorbed energy of specimens is assessed using impact test at the temperature of -50°C. Testing results show that high heat input parameters will lead to low strength of welded joint. Impact toughness of fusion line is lower than that of other areas of welded joint.

Abstract: There are a series of problems in using explosive source in land oil seismic exploration at present. Aiming at this problem, a new hammer source system which can replace explosive source was proposed. Function of the hammer source system was analyzed and a typical pneumatic control circuit was designed. With the advantages of strong impact, high speed and small gas consumption, quick air exhaust impact cylinder was used in the hammer source system. An electronic control system was designed based on PLC, including the hardware component and software design. The pneumatic control system was simulated and analyzed in AMESim, and the results showed that the system can meet the design requirements, provide a reference for engineering application.

Abstract: Melamine formaldehyde (MF) resin and its derivatives are always considered to be an excellent flame retardant material, which has a wide application in the flame retardant fabric, thermal insulation and high temperature filter Materials etc. The melamine formaldehyde resin (MF) and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) blend electrospinning were studied in this work. MF-PVA electrospun fiber membrane was successfully prepared, and the limit oxygen index (LOI), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), infrared spectrum (IR) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) have been used to analyze and characterize the fiber. The results show that: The blending fiber is endowed with effective flame retardant property by the amino group and triazine ring group in MF/PVA fibers, and the LOI reaches 28~31. The MF and PVA blend fiber showed best uniformity when the blending solid content ratio of MF-PVA is 1:1. MF/ PVA blend fiber has certain crystallization capacity, which influences both the mechanical properties and flexibility of blending fiber.

Abstract: Melamine formaldehyde (MF) resin and its derivatives are always considered to be excellent flame retardant material, which has wide application in the flame retardant fabric, high temperature insulating filter materials, etc. However, less research on electro-spinning of melamine fiber has been reported, recently. In the study, the molar ratio, condensation polymerization temperature of formaldehyde and melamine, and the law of effect in different solid content ratio of melamine formaldehyde/polyvinyl alcohol on the electro-spinning were studied. The results showed that the best conditions for spinning were that formaldehyde and melamine molar ratio was 1:1.7, the reaction temperature was 80°C, and the MF-PVA blending solid content ratio was 1:1, meanwhile the morphology of Electron microscopy indicated the good uniformity of the fiber. The fiber presents good flame retardant property in conditions of MF-PVA blending solution viscosity 155mPa ́s, limit oxygen index 33.2%.

Abstract: Ni-W-Si intermetallic composite coatings consisting of primary tungsten dendrites and eutectic W/WSi 2 were fabricated on 45 steel by laser cladding process using Ni-W-Si powder. The microstructure and composition of the coatings were characterized by SEM, XRD and EDS. The effect of the W content on the hardness and wear resistance of coatings was investigated. Results indicate that attributed to the high hardness and toughness of tungsten dendrites and fine and compact eutectic W/WSi 2 , coatings had high hardness being 950HV in maximum and the wear resistance was elevated to 4-8 times higher.

Abstract: A NiCrBSi coating was produced on a pure iron plate by laser cladding technology. Electric-magnetic compound field was applied in order to improve the quality of coating. The effect of electric-magnetic compound field on the microstructure and the phase composition of coating was investigated by OM and XRD, respectively. The results indicated that the phase composition of the coatings were γ-(Fe,Ni), Cr 23 C 6 , Cr 7 C 3 , CrB and Ni 3 B with and without electromagnetic field. Microstructural observation showed that the grains were refined obviously by electromagnetic stirring. The electromagnetic stirring could change the direction of the heat dissipation and changed the direction of the columnar crystal at the bottom of the coating. High qualitative coating without porosity were obtained under electromagnetic field.

Abstract: Glycidoxypropyl-functionalized magnetic mesoporous SiO 2 /Fe 3 O 4 hollow microspheres (FMMS) with various amounts of terminally bonded groups in the pore channels were synthesized by the co-condensation of tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) and 3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxylsilane (GPTMS) in the presence of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) and 1,3,5-triisoporpylbenzene (TMB), and utilized as supports for laccase immobilization. It is revealed that glycidoxypropyl groups have been successfully covalently attached to the pore wall of magnetic mesoporous SiO 2 /Fe 3 O 4 hollow microspheres (MMS). The magnetic mesoporous SiO 2 /Fe 3 O 4 microspheres (sample10%FMMS) have a saturation magnetization of 13.6 emu·g -1 and a low coercivity (50 Oe). The functional materials preserve a mesoscopic ordering at a concentration of GPTMS as high as 15%. The BET surface area and pore volume of the functionalized materials decrease with increasing amount of GPTMS, but a desirable pore structure remains when the GPTMS amount increases to 10%. The 10%FMMS material exhibits higher laccase immobilization and stability than pure MMS because of the covalent interaction between the amino groups of laccase and the epoxy groups of the functional MMS.

Abstract: Carbon/carbon composite of various density were synthesized via chemical vapor infiltration process, and the sedimentary process of pyrolytic carbon were also researched. The density of the sample increased with the extension of growth time. Density change rate of the samples were various at different stages of the growth process, namely pyrolytic carbon of different densities formed at the different stages. It was found that pyrolytic carbon filled the pores of carbon fiber preform, which can help to relieve the interface stress between the fiber and the ceramic substrate. In order to improve the performance of the composite, SiC and ZrC ceramics were introduced into the carbon/carbon composite via polymer infiltration and pyrolysis (PIP) process. The ability of high temperature resistance and oxidation resistance of the composite were strengthened by the PIP process. The bending strength, tensile strength and compressive strength were also increased with the extension of PIP cycle. The C/C-SiC-ZrC composites were obtain through this process, which are useful in various areas.

Abstract: Anti-felting properties of knitted wool fabric treated with keratin were investigated by a laboratory scale treatment. The effects of concentration of keratin, treatment temperature and time, drying temperature on the anti-felting properties of wool were studied respectively. The study provided shrinkage data perfectly comparable with those obtained by the currently used shrink proofing processes, but with some important advantages: the total absence of chlorine in the process and the complete biodegradability of keratin without harmful and toxic chemical agents. Therefore, this method showed us the possibility of keratin treated wool fabric for industrial use.

Abstract: The matrix of NZP family ceramics is natrium phosphate zirconium (for short, NZP) . NZP family ceramics have the designabolity of thermal expansion coefficient, and the average thermal expansion coefficient can be changed from negative value to positive value by means of composition adjustment, thus obtaining zero thermal expansion ceramics with good thermal shock resistance. With NZP family ceramics the thermal stress can be effectively reduced and the thermal properties of materials can be enhanced. Therefore, NZP family ceramics have become a hot topic in materials science community in recent years. The calcium phosphate zirconium powder was prepared by coprecipitation method, and NZP family ceramics were prepared after pressing molding and pressureless sintering. The results show that the compressive strength of the prepared NZP family ceramics is 199 MPa and the thermal expansion coefficient is-0.5×10 -6 /°C at sintering temperature of 1100°C.
