    Abstract: Power transformer (PT), essential equipment in electrical power system proceeds complicated manufacturing process to meet high standard design. During manufacturing process of PT, the drying stage is of importance to remove excessive moisture contaminant on the solid insulation. This study investigated the effects of drying duration on partial discharge test of 83.3 MVA 275/160 kV PT. The partial discharge test measurements were carried out using IEC 60270 standards comprising of the capacitive network model based on the main quantity apparent charge concept. We found that the lowest partial discharge of 21 pC was achieved at 68 hours drying duration, while the highest value of 60 pC was reached at 81 hours drying time. The longer drying time may lead to initial degradation of cellulose insulation due to excessive heating. The amount of water extracted during drying effect to partial discharge also investigated. We conclude that the drying time at a higher and lower than 68 hours significantly contributes to the increased partial discharge values of PT.

    Abstract: This paper describes the work done in order to make Matlab Simulink based steam generator simulator in the simulation of a steam generator. The steam generator under this research is operated with the steam quality of 72%, O2 content is 1.2%, designed steam volume flow is 3600 barrel per day at a maximum and designed fuel gas volume flow is 1300 Thousand Standard Cubic Feet (MSCF) per day at a maximum. The simulator program of the steam generator is separated into individual components consisting of Burner, Radiant, Convection, Exhaust Stack, Feedwater Pump Discharge and Steam Discharge. Within the components, thermodynamics and heat transfer principles such as conduction, convection, radiation and also conservation of mass, momentum, and energy were applied to compute the pressure values, temperature values, and flow rate values of simulated field device based on the command and setpoint from PLC. The validation process has been done with the steam generator is operating in a steady state to the 10 important process parameters of the steam generator. The error percentage calculated from a difference between the simulation result value and the actual value from field data reference divide by actual value from field data reference. The error percentage results are as following : Fuel Gas Orifice Differential Pressure : 2.39%, Fuel Gas Pressure : 1.37%, Fuel Gas Temperature : 5.95%, Fuel Gas Flow Rate : 1.25%, Feedwater Orifice Differential Pressure : 1.94%, Feedwater Pressure : 1.54%, Feedwater Flow Rate : 0.92%, Steam Orifice Differential Pressure 3.26%, Steam Discharge Pressure 1.93% and Steam Quality : 0.05%.

    Abstract: Cherax quadricarinatus est une écrevisse parastacide originaire de certaines parties du nord-est de l'Australie et du sud de la Nouvelle-Guinée. C'est une espèce relativement grande et très féconde par rapport aux autres écrevisses de ce genre. Comme C. quadricarinatus a été précédemment évaluée comme une espèce envahissante en Indonésie, il est recommandé de suivre la surveillance de cette espèce dans cette région. Une compréhension détaillée de son comportement spatial peut servir de base à de nouvelles recherches visant à améliorer la gestion. Un échantillonnage de terrain a été effectué en dehors de son aire de répartition d'origine à Java, en Indonésie, de 2019 à 2020, ce qui a permis d'obtenir des données utiles pour modéliser la distribution spatiale de l'espèce. La présence de l'espèce a été confirmée dans 66 des 70 localités étudiées, avec 51 nouveaux enregistrements pour l'Indonésie. Des enquêtes futures axées sur la relation entre la distribution spatiale et le modèle de dispersion de C. quadricarinatus et ses interactions avec le biote indigène et les écosystèmes entiers ont été recommandées.

    Abstract: Sei Nagalawan village is one of the coastal villages in Perbaungan district, Serdang Bedagai regency that has the potential of mangrove ecosystems. Some fishermans in this village use pedada fruit ( Sonneratia caseolaris L.) to be processed commercially into pedada syrup. Pedada syrup is marketed in mangrove tourist sites of Kampung Nypah and around Perbaungan district. This research aimed to analyze the financial feasibility, flow and marketing margins of the pedada syrup making business conducted by the Sei Nagalawan village community. The method used is quantitative descriptive analysis on the business actors processing, distribution and marketing of pedada syrup. The results showed that the business of making pedada syrup was feasible with an R/C ratio of 5, a break event point of 17 bottles and a payback period of 2 production cycles. The marketing flow of the pedada syrup business consists of 2 channels, namely the short line (direct) marketing channel and the long line marketing channel. The profit margin obtained by the producer through the short line marketing channel is IDR. 9.000,-/bottle. In the long line marketing channel, the margin obtained by producers is IDR. 6.000,-, collectors of IDR. 1,000, and retailers IDR. 2,000,per bottle.

    Abstract: Related to environmental issues resulting from the use of traditional energy sources, drive usage of renewable energy is increasing. Changes in the structure of the network will certainly affect the changes in voltage stability. In this paper, discuss the impact of the stability after distributed generation penetration whose its output intermittent relatively. The simulation based PSAT software and tested into IEEE 30 bus system. Observation of voltage deviation and SVSI-index on some load buses in conditions before and after integration of wind generation. Load condition is a very determining factor of bus voltage stability index. This relates to the active power and reactive power needs that must be injected by DG penetration.

    Abstract: Composites a material was developed to replace metal and alloys, because of the properties such as light weight and unique mechanical properties. Processing of aluminum-based composites has been developing by new manufacturing technology, namely severe plastic deformation (SPD), to produce unique of mechanical properties. Some of the methods used are; equal channel angular pressing (ECAP), accumulative roll bonding (ARB) and multi-axial forging (MAF). The results of some of these methods were compared with the latest method of new SPD, namely: repetitive press roll forming (RPRF). Based on grain morphology and mechanical properties, the result of RPRF has superior to another method. The properties produced by SPD technology was varies, the highest of hardness produced by RPRF process was 88 HV10, ECAP produced 65 HV10, MAF was 46 HV10 and ARB reached 50 HV10. While the highest of tensile strength produced by MAF was 237 MPa while the RPRF process just only around 147 MPa, but the ultrafine grains just only produced by RPRF method which is 0.9 μm, compared to other methods: MAF 1.2 μm, ECAP 5.7 μm and ARB is not so far with MAF that is equal to 1.4 μm. The RPRF process can be recommended for the interest of the aluminum-based composite materials processing industry. Because currently some component product by industries have been substituted from metal alloy materials to metal-based composites.

    Abstract: The community’s reliance on logging forest resources has reached the limit of its carrying capacity. Non-timber forest products are one type of natural resource that can help limit the direct use of timber forest products. Interviewing techniques and field observation were used to acquire data. The findings show that Arenga pinnata and other non-timber forest products (NTFPs) have economic potential as halal foods are Arenga pinnata, Hevea brasiliensis, Durio zibethinus, Areca catechu, Theobroma cacao, Parkia speciosa, Lansium parasiticum, and Archidendron pauciflorum .

    Abstract: Data mining is applied in many areas. In oil and gas industries, data mining may be implemented to support the decision making in their operation to prevent a massive loss. One of serious problems in the petroleum industry is congeal phenomenon, since it leads to block crude oil flow during transport in a pipeline system. In the crude oil pipeline system, pressure online monitoring in the pipeline is usually implemented to control the congeal phenomenon. However, this system is not able to predict the pipeline pressure on the next several days. This research is purposed to compare the pressure prediction of the crude oil pipeline using data mining algorithms based on the real historical data from the petroleum field. To find the best algorithms, it was compared 4 data mining algorithms, i.e. Random Forest, Multilayer Perceptron (MLP), Decision Tree, and Linear Regression. As a result, the Linear Regression shows the best performance among the 4 algorithms with R 2 = 0.55 and RMSE = 28.34. This research confirmed that data mining algorithm is a good method to be implemented in petroleum industry to predict the pressure of the crude oil pipeline, even the accuracy of the prediction values should be improved. To have better accuracy, it is necessary to collect more data and find better performance of the data mining algorithm

    Abstract: Agroforestry is a deliberate combination of agriculture and forestry to create an integrated environment and sustainable land use system. This study aims to identify the form of agroforestry management and the financial feasibility of agroforestry in Sipolha Horison Village. The research method is descriptive analysis and financial analysis using NVP, BCR, and IRR parameters. The results showed that there were two agroforestry patterns commonly practiced by the people of Sipolha Horison Village, Pematang Sidamanik District, namely agroforestry pattern A (suren and coffee plants) and agroforestry pattern B (suren, coffee, and clove plants). The results of the analysis show that suren agroforestry produces an NPV value of Rp. 166,343,919, - per ha (at an interest rate of 8%), Rp. 126,566,124, 51 per ha (at an interest rate of 10%), and Rp. 73,322,098.68 per ha (at an interest rate of 14%). The BCR value with an interest rate of 8% is 4.29, at a 10% interest rate is 3.78, and at a 14% interest rate is 2.94, with an IRR value of 17.6%. Overall these results indicate that agroforestry practices in Sipolha Horison Village, Pematang Sidamanik District, Simalungun Regency are feasible to cultivate.
