Description: This dataset consists of three high-resolution multi-channel seismic reflection (MCS) profiles from the southeastern North Sea between Amrum and Heligoland shown in the corresponding publication. These data were acquired during expedition AL496 with R/V Alkor in July 2017 and during expedition MSM98/2 with R/V Maria S. Merian in February 2021 to image buried glacial landforms (tunnel valleys and a glacitectonic complex). All data have been processed to produce full seismic reflection profiles in the time-domain with an emphasis on the suppression of multiple reflections (shallow water artefacts). The raw seismic data (including navigation) is included in this dataset.

Description: This 2D multi-channel seismic dataset was acquired during METEOR cruise M154-1 offshore Montserrat in April 2019. The dataset contains ~600 km of normal-moveout-corrected, stacked and migrated vertical seismic profiles. Aim of the seismic experiment was to map and image landslide deposits offshore Montserrat. The data was collected with a 81 m to 152 m-long (16 to 65 channels) streamer system with a group spacing of 1.56 m. The system consisted of two to seven 12.5 m-long active sections, a 25 m-long vibro-stretch section and a 31 to 40 m-long tow cable. As seismic source, two GI airguns (105/105 cubic inch) were shot every five seconds. Seismic data processing included trace editing, highpass filtering (25 Hz cut and 55 Hz slope corner frequencies), denoising, deconvolution, normal moveout correction, stacking and finite-difference migration with a gradient velocity model (1580 m/s to 1725 m/s). Detailed information on the data acquisition can be found in the M154-1 cruise report (https://doi.org/10.2312/cr_m154_1).

Description: Raw data acquired by position sensors on board RV MERIAN during expedition MSM113 were processed to receive a validated master track which can be used as reference of further expedition data. During MSM113 the motion reference unit Kongsberg SeaTex AS MRU-5 combined with Kongsberg SeaTex AS Seapath 320 and the GPS receivers Trimble SPS855 and SAAB R4 were used as navigation sensors. Data were downloaded from DAVIS SHIP data base (https://dship.bsh.de) with a resolution of 1 sec. Processing and evaluation of the data is outlined in the data processing report. Processed data are provided as a master track with 1 sec resolution derived from the position sensors' data selected by priority and a generalized track with a reduced set of the most significant positions of the master track.

Description: Three dimensional (3D) seismic reflection data were collected in 2014 at the Tuaheni Landslide Complex, east of New Zealand's North Island. Data were collected using GEOMAR's 3D P-Cable seismic system, deployed from New Zealand's research vessel Tangaroa during voyage TAN1404. The dataset has been processed through to a 3D Kirchhoff time migration using Globe Claritas processing software at GNS Science. The spacing between successive inlines is 6.25 m and between successive crosslines is 3.125 m. See following publication for details about data processing: doi:10.1029/2017TC004906.
