Abstract:
A novel covalently linked cobalt(III) [Formula: see text]-confused porphyrin dimer Co2 was synthesized and the redox properties explored. The complex undergoes electrochemical oxidation/reduction, leading to the formation of radicaloid-based species because of the inherent redox-active character of the porphyrinoid.
