Für die Bestimmung der Änderung der elektrischen Leitfähigkeit von Seewasser mit dem hydrostatischen Druck wurde ein Nomogramm konstruiert, das eine schnelle Bearbeitung von in-situ-Messungen erlaubt. Die Konstruktion des Nomogrammes auf der Basis der Gleichungen von A. BRADSHAW und K. E. SCHLEICHER (1965) wird kurz beschrieben, die möglichen Fehler werden diskutiert.
A nomograph has been constructed according to the equations of A. BRADSHAW and K. E. SCHLEICHER (1965). The increase of electrical conductance of sea water, with pressure can thus be determined in a short time. The construction of the nomograph is explained, and possible errors are discussed. The use of the nomograph can be done in the following way: The point representing the combination of a certain temperature with a certain salinity is projected vertically on the line representing a salinity of 35‰. The straight line between the point found by such a projection and the pressure point leads to the value K which is the percentage increase of electrical conductance.
