    Abstract: In the fields of numerical control machine, robot etc, vector control system of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) has widely application prospects. Proportion integration (PI) adjustment block, coordinate transformation block, space vector pulse width module (SVPWM) block and the simulation model of the whole system are built in MATLAB/SIMULINK according to the mathematical model, SVPWM technique and vector control theory of PMSM. The simulation results show that stator winding triphase current can run smoothly, speed and output torque can be accurately follow the given value. The results provide the basis for further research of the performance of the PMSM control system.

    Abstract: Using laser cladding technique, Ni3(Si Ti) matrix composite coatings reinforced by in-situ synthesis (Ti,W)C multi-ceramics were fabricatcd by preplacing Ni78Si13Ti9( at%)powders containing different WC contents on the nickel-matrix superalloy substrate. The phases of coatings were investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffractometer (XRD) and electron probe microanalysis (EPMA). Phases of the coatings mainly composed of Ni3(Si Ti), (Ti,W)C multi-ceramics A chemical reaction between WC particle and Ti powder occurs during the laser process, therefore (Ti,W)C was formed.

    Abstract: The oxidation resistance of Ni-Si-Ti-C, Ni-Si-C-Nb in-situ reinforcement clad layers has been investigated by cyclic oxidation tests at the temperature 1100°C. The oxidation performance were characterized by Thermo-gravimetric (TG),scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffractometer (XRD),the TG date indicates good oxidation resistant was reached for the clad layers. The kinetic constant Kp and the micrograph of oxidized samples shown that NbC reinforce clad layers which oxide products including NiO, SiO2 and Nb2O5 has better oxidation resistant than TiC reinforce clad layers which oxide products including NiO, some SiO2 and TiO2.

    Abstract: Solid state photovoltaic cells have been fabricated using a ruthenium dye complex as a sensitizer, and poly[2-methoxy-5-(2-ethyl-hexyloxy)-phenylene vinylene] (MEH-PPV) as a hole transporting layer. A compact TiO2 layers with no pores has been introduced to prevent charge losses related to back reactions. The photovoltaic properties of MEH-PPV/dye coated TiO2 electrodes and MEH-PPV coated TiO2 electrodes with and without using compact TiO2 layers were investigated. The compact TiO2 layer increased the current from 0.09 mA/cm2 to 0.4 mA/cm2. Further improvement in current was achieved by inserting a dye interlayer between nanoporous TiO2 and MEH-PPV. In this case, the current increased up to 2 mA/cm2 yielding an efficiency of 0.3 %.

    Abstract: Using laser cladding technique, TiC reinforced Ti matrix composite coatings were fabricated by preplacing TiC, (Ti+C), (Ti+TiC) powders respectively on the TA2 pure titanium surface.By means of XRD, SEM and Hv-Test, microstructures and microhardness were investigated. The results show that phases of the coatings are all composed of TiC and α-Ti. Delamination phenomenon appears when laser clad pure TiC coating, which has deleterious effect on properties. TiC phase is in-situ synthesized during laser clad (Ti+C) coating, but microstructure is coarse. Microstructure of (Ti+TiC) coating is the most uniform and dense of the three coatings. The microhardness sequence of the three coatings is (Ti+TiC) 〉 TiC 〉 (Ti+C), and the maximum value is Hv1246, Hv1213 and Hv1135 respectively. The main reason leads to the highest micro-hardness of (Ti+TiC) coating is the Ti powder is beneficial to laser cladding and large amount of TiC reinforcement formed which is compact and uniform.

    Abstract: The aim of this study is to obtain high-quality zinc oxide thin films by reactive radiofrequency (rf) magnetron sputtering. The thin films were prepared at constant total gas pressure, with different oxygen and argon contents. The ZnO samples were characterized by several methods. From XRD measurements it was confirmed that ZnO films are c-axis oriented, the line width and intensity are sensitive to O2/Ar gas pressure. All films exhibited excellent transmission (in excess of 70 %) in the visible range with a steep fall off in transmission at 425 nm. From the absorbance measurements the optical band-gap energy was extrapolated according the transmission spectrum. It shows that the optical band gap of the films increased from 3.233 eV to 3.288 eV with increase in the oxygen concentrations from 20 % to 70 %. Refractive indexes of the obtained thin films were carried out in this study.

    Abstract: In order to discuss the water resources carrying capacity in Liaohe river basin, which is defined as the ultimate water resources carrying capacity, this paper mainly calculated the water resources threshold based on the lower and upper available water resources according to the minimum and appropriate ecological water requirement. Bring forth water resources carrying capacity threshold theoretical system, multi-objective algorithm is used to calculate the ultimate water resources carrying capacity for three different social and economic development projects, such as ‘ecological maintenance’, ‘ecological soundness’ and ‘ecological soundness with water saving’, and analyzed the calculation result with the characteristics of each city. The results showed that the water resources in Yingkou and Panjin have been overtaken, that in Shenyang and Anshan are over lifted to some extent and water resources in other cities still have some space to extract. Meanwhile, the ecological social and economic benefit of the third project is the best compared with the other two.

    Abstract: The settlement characteristics of storage tank foundation at water-filling preloading stage and stable loading stage was analyzed based on numerical simulation. And the influences of foundation soil parameters on the settlement of storage tank foundation were studied. The research results show that Uplift appears at the place 1.3D away from the center of oil tank bottom, and the final uplift value is 10mm.The main factor which influences the consolidation speed of storage tank foundation is permeability coefficient. The consolidation settlement is determined by compression modulus and load.

    Abstract: According to analyze the settlement characteristics of storage tank foundation at water-filling preloading stage and stable loading stage based on numerical simulation, and researching the settlement characteristics of storage tank foundation. The research results show that the deformation of storage tank foundation is “tray” in shape, and the maximum settlement appears at the place 0.65D away from the center of storage tank bottom, D is the radius of storage tank. Uplift appears at the place 1.3D away from the center of oil tank bottom, and the final uplift value is 10mm.The main factor which influences the consolidation speed of storage tank foundation is permeability coefficient.

    Abstract: The demand for rare earths in aluminum alloy industry has experienced substantial growth in recent years. The erbium and scandium are two effective rare earth additives, mainly due to its remarkable improvement to aluminum alloy performance. However, the production process of rare earth has caused significant environmental problems. Hence, the analysis of environmental impacts associated with erbium and scandium processing is gaining importance. In this study, a life cycle analysis on the environment impacts of erbium oxide (Er 2 O 3 ) and scandium oxide (Sc 2 O 3 ) was carried out based on life cycle assessment (LCA) method. The life cycle assessment results showed that the production of 1 kg of Er 2 O 3 and Sc 2 O 3 generated 21.7 kg CO 2 eq. and 743 kg CO 2 eq., respectively. The leaching and purification process accounting for 95% of the overall water usage of Er 2 O 3 production. For Sc 2 O 3 , energy and chemical consumption played a key role in reducing environmental impacts. Furthermore, Er 2 O 3 appeared to have less environmental impact than Sc 2 O 3 on most environmental issues. A detailed review of contribution was conducted and recommendations for further research were given.
