Abstract: Objective . To explore the relationship between elevated serum C-reactive protein (CRP) level and postoperative delirium (POD). Methods . 206 patients scheduled to receive cervical or lumbar vertebra surgery under general anesthesia for more than 2 hours in a single medical center were observed and analyzed. Patients’ serum CRP, delirious status (using the confusion assessment method (CAM)), and delirious score (using the memorial delirium assessment scale (MDAS)) were examined before surgery and 1-2 days after surgery. The association of a serum CRP elevation value from before to after surgery (D-CRP) with delirium occurrence within 2 days after surgery was assessed with a binary logistic regression model, while the association of D-CRP with the postoperative delirious score was assessed with a linear regression model. The effect of D-CRP on predicting delirium occurrence was evaluated with the area under the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve (AUC). Results . D-CRP was significantly positively associated with postoperative delirium occurrence ( OR = 1.047 , 95 % CI = 1.013 , 1.082), and D-CRP was also significantly linearly associated with the postoperative delirious score ( β = 0.014 , 95 % CI = 0.006 , 0.023). AUC of ROC was 0.711 ( P = 0.014 ), suggesting that D-CRP had moderate efficacy on predicting postoperative delirium occurrence ( P 〈 0.05 ). Conclusions . Elevated serum CRP after surgery may be a risk factor for and a predictor of postoperative delirium.

Abstract: Power Internet of things (IoT) is deemed as a promising network platform with widely deployed infrastructure to boost efficient information delivery in the power grid. Due to the long history of the mature power grid and increased requirements from various industries, the architecture of power IoT should be carefully investigated. Specifically, a large number of end devices in the power grid are required to simultaneously report their sensed information to the management side. However, there are few works related to the uniform communication mechanism to support various devices made by different manufacturers. In this paper, we study the architecture of power IoT for high concurrency access. For each layer of power IoT, we study its fundamental structure and functionality. Moreover, according to the architecture of power IoT, we propose an integrated gateway to support multiple end device simultaneous access. The simulation results verify that the proposed gateway can work well in different network traffic and communication protocols.

Abstract: The snowboarding project has the characteristics of high risk and high technical level. The current publicity level is not high, and the number of participants is also very limited. Another potential advantage medal breakthrough project that is expected to be achieved in the Winter Olympics has received a lot of attention, creating favorable opportunities for the promotion and development of this project in China. The event requires good special physical support, skeletal muscle contraction is the body to produce motor function, and special physical training and recovery are key factors for athletes to obtain excellent results in the competition. This article is aimed at performing ultrasonic quantitative analysis on the skeletal muscles of skiers after exercise based on artificial intelligence and complex networks and at studying the skeletal muscle conditions of snowboarders after exercise, so as to provide a certain theoretical basis for coaches in future scientific training. Based on a large amount of literature, this paper uses variational optical flow calculation and split Bregman method to solve the typical HS model, L1-L2 model, and L1-high-order model, respectively, and uses the motion estimation method to describe the movement of muscles. An experiment was designed to collect ultrasound images of the gastrocnemius and quadriceps muscles during contraction. In addition, a motion target positioning algorithm was used to obtain some motion parameters, which provided direct help for athletes in rationally arranging training load and scientific training. The experimental results in this paper show that the muscle motion features extracted from the ultrasound sequence images can quantitatively express a lot of important information about the skeletal muscle motion form and function and have potential practical application value. And the different invariants of each type of ski trajectory vary greatly, floating between 1.5429 and 7.6759.

Abstract: Existing studies of mobile edge computing resource allocation strategy problem merely optimize delay and energy cost, seldom considering the benefit of edge servers. So, a two-way update strategy based on game theory (TUSGT) was proposed. TUSGT converts the task competition relationship among edge servers into a noncollaborative game issue and adopts a potential game-based joint optimization strategy, allowing edge servers to determine task selection preference by maximizing their own benefit as the objective. At mobile device side, the EWA algorithm of online learning was used to update parameters, exerting impact on edge server’s task selection preference from a global perspective and improving overall deadline hit rate. The simulation test results show that, compared to BGTA, MILP, greedy strategy, random strategy, and ideal strategy, TUSGT promotes deadline hit rate by up to 30% and increases edge server’s average benefit by up to 65%.
