Abstract:
In situ U‐Pb micro‐baddeleyite dating of dykes from NE Mexico yielded intrusion ages of 619 +/‐ 9 Ma Coeval, rift‐related magmatism indicates a single large igneous province, triggering breakup of Amazonia, Baltica, and Laurentia A second early Cambrian age group suggests open system behavior of certain baddeleyite crystals during hydrothermal alteration
