    Abstract: Purpose : To help nursing students understand flight nursing by checking the level of awareness of nursing students about flight nurses, and to provide data that is the basis for future nursing education program development. Method : This study is a descriptive research study, and data were collected from April 4 to April 10, 2022 from 214 students from the first to fourth grades of nursing department in Seoul and Gangwon. Results : As a result of analyzing the meaning of nursing students by applying the content analysis method, a total of 5 areas, 20 categories, and 99 meaningful statements were derived. Conclusion : The results of this study will be helpful in understanding the degree of awareness of flight nurses perceived by nursing students, and will serve as basic data for developing and expanding nursing students’ training programs for flight nurses and enhancing the effectiveness of education.

    Abstract: Purpose : This study is a scoping literature review on simulation education using domestic standardized patients based on the scoping literature review protocol presented by The Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI), and provides basic data for future simulation education using standardized patients. Method : The literature search was conducted through 4 domestic sources (DBpia, KISS, KMBASE, NDSL), and documents published from January 2011 to December 2021. The main search terms were ‘standardized patient’ and ‘simulation’. As a result, 21 articles that met the selection criteria were selected. Results : The results show that quantitative research was the largest with 17 (81.0%) out of a total of 21 articles, and that nursing simulation education as the main topic (title) had the most articles with 7 (33.3%). Communication ability was found to be the most common variable with 8 pieces (38.1%). Conclusion : By means of the analysis results of the literature review on the subject range of simulation education using domestic standardized patients, it will be possible to use them as meaningful data to improve the effectiveness and quality of simulation education using standardized patients.

    Abstract: Purpose : This study was conducted to survey the perception of the enactment of the nursing act among the non-health personnel. Methods : This study is a descriptive research study applying the content analysis method with a view to identify the degree of perception of the enactment of the nursing act perceived by non-Health personnel residing in seoul and gyeonggi-do from may 31, 2022 through november 1, 2022. Results : As a result of this study, a total of 36 categories and 95 statements were secured regarding the definition of the nursing act, the importance of the nursing act, the merits of enactment of the nursing act, the disadvantages of the enactment of the nursing act, and the need for education related to the nursing act. Conclusion : According to the results of this study, the advantages of enacting the nursing act are the improved treatment of nurses, expansion of medical services, and an increase in the level of nursing care. whereas, it was perceived that financial problems due to the friction with other occupations, damage to nurses, rigidity of the nursing act, and the increased number of nursing personnel would be disadvantages. There was also the perception that there was a need for education on the precautions of the nursing act, medical theory, nurse and patient benefits, and the scope of nurse work. Accordingly, the nursing act is a universal legislative system common for the world and is a law that articulates and specifies the work of nursing personnel.

    Abstract: Purpose : The purpose of this study is to develop an evidence-based nursing protocol to systematically educate nursing students on pain management, pressure ulcer care and fall prevention, and drainage tube management, which are the core nursing skills newly established during the 4th cycle. Methods : This is a methodological study intended to develop a protocols for pain management, pressure ulcer care, fall prevention care, and drainage tube management of nursing students by preparing a preliminary protocol to develop systematic pain management, pressure ulcer care and fall prevention care, and drainage tube management protocol for the core nursing skills education of nursing students, and by verifying content validity and user validity to investigate clinical applicability. Result : This study developed a protocol consisted of 18 questions for pain management, 17 questions for pressure ulcer care and fall prevention care, and 25 questions for the drainage tube management protocol of newly established core nursing skills. Conclusion : In the court of developing the protocol, an expert group was included to evaluate the appropriateness and applicability of the protocol use, and hence, it is expected that it will be used effectively for the evaluation of core nursing skills.

    Abstract: Purpose : The objective of this study is to arrange the educational foundation, which can be applied to the nursing practice education, through providing basic materials on the simulation practice education of women’s health nursing after analyzing the research trends on the simulation practice education in maternity nursing and systematically considering the characteristics of the program. Methods : The scoping review was applied for grasping 21 pieces of research trends on the simulation practice education in women’s health nursing, which were released domestically from 2011 to 2021. Results : A research on the effects of the delivery nursing education with the application of simulation based on the classification according to a research theme includes totally 12 pieces (57.1%). There were 3 pieces (14.3%) for a research with a comparison of the effects between the simulation practice and the clinical training education, 3 pieces (14.3%) for a research on the effects of the simulation education according to a learning method, 1 piece (4.8%) for a research on the effects of the integrated(maternal-child) simulation education, 1 piece (4.8%) for a research on a method of operating the maternal and child nursing simulation, and 1 piece (4.8%) for a research on educational effects of the patient role experience using a qualitative research. Conclusion : Simulation practice education in women’s health nursing, it is necessary to redesign various teaching and learning methods to improve the quality of practice content and composition, and to seek various strategies for students to practice without stress and achieve educational effects.

    Abstract: Purpose : The purpose is, in order to evaluate the extent of achievement of learning performance for ‘manage the population’s health within the health care system’ among the 8 program learning outcomes presented by the Korean Accreditation Board of Nursing Education, develop an evaluation system connecting academic subjects and extracurricular activities, and present directions for developing an evaluation system for each school. Methods : This study is a methodological study intended to develop the evaluation system to ‘manage the population’s health within the health care system’ among the 8 program learning outcomes presented by the Korean Accreditation Board of Nursing Education. Results : As for the results of this study, an evaluation system was developed to ‘manage the population’s health within the health care system’ through reference review, survey, and program learning outcomes evaluation system’s model setting process. Conclusion : The evaluation system developed based on the results of this study can be actively used for the nursing education, and it is expected that it could contribute to improving the health management competency of the nursing students for the population at the time of graduation.

    Abstract: Purpose : The purpose of this study is to assess the effectiveness of using case-based Extended Reality content programs developed for nursing college students in maternal nursing practice. Methods : This was a quasi-experimental study that used two groups and a pretest-posttest design, with 30 nursing students in both the experimental and control groups. Data were collected from 3rd of July to 11th of Aug. The educational program was configured in four stages over four weeks. An after- program post-test was conducted for one week. Results : Statistically significant differences were observed in the experimental group's pre and post-results for practice confidence, practice immersion, and practice satisfaction. Significant differences were found in scores for practice confidence, practice immersion, and practice satisfaction between the experimental and control groups. Conclusion : Case-based Extended Reality content programs were found to be effective for nursing college students in terms of practice confidence, practice immersion, and practice satisfaction. It is expected that this study will serve as fundamental material for the development of various case-based extended reality content education programs.
