    Kurzfassung: Purpose : The purpose of this study is to develop an evidence-based nursing protocol to systematically educate nursing students on pain management, pressure ulcer care and fall prevention, and drainage tube management, which are the core nursing skills newly established during the 4th cycle. Methods : This is a methodological study intended to develop a protocols for pain management, pressure ulcer care, fall prevention care, and drainage tube management of nursing students by preparing a preliminary protocol to develop systematic pain management, pressure ulcer care and fall prevention care, and drainage tube management protocol for the core nursing skills education of nursing students, and by verifying content validity and user validity to investigate clinical applicability. Result : This study developed a protocol consisted of 18 questions for pain management, 17 questions for pressure ulcer care and fall prevention care, and 25 questions for the drainage tube management protocol of newly established core nursing skills. Conclusion : In the court of developing the protocol, an expert group was included to evaluate the appropriateness and applicability of the protocol use, and hence, it is expected that it will be used effectively for the evaluation of core nursing skills.

    Kurzfassung: Purpose : The purpose of this study was to identify the type of core nursing skills training and educational effects for Korean nursing students. Methods : The data was analyzed by scoping review, using the framework proposed by Arksey & O'Malley (2005) and supplemented by Levac et al. (2010), was conducted. RISS, NDSL, DBpia, KISS, and KCI were used to search the literature. Two independent reviewers separately selected studies by extracting characteristics of the studies using pre-tested forms. Overall, a total of 705 articles were initially identified, out of which 40 articles were ultimately included for the final analysis. Result : The scenario, video taking, and peer tutoring method were observed to be the most commonly utilized educational approach for core nursing skills. The core nursing skills most frequently addressed included indwelling catheterization, vital sign measurements, intramuscular injection, and intravenous fluid infusion. When evaluating core nursing skills, the primary measurements focused on critical thinking disposition in the cognitive domain, performance confidence in the affective domain, and clinical competence in the psycho-motor domain. Conclusion : It is necessary to develop various operation methods for effective core nursing skills training. The findings of this study offer valuable insights that can serve as basic data for establishing effective core nursing skills training for nursing students.

    Kurzfassung: Purpose : The purpose of this study is a descriptive study to identify the factors that influence nursing students’ ethical disposition, professional self-concept, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation attitude on bio-medical ethics. Method : This study identifies the factors that affect bio-medical ethics by convenience sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire from 257 students participating in bio-medical ethics education from December 15, 2019 to January 15, 2020. Results : The subjects’ ethical disposition were 42.21±5.18 for idealism and 38.91±5.96 for relativism. The average professional self-concept was 3.72±0.43, and the CPR attitude was 3.83±0.47. The overall average of bio-medical ethics was 3.17±0.44. The relationship between idealism (r=.54), relativism (r=.28), professional self-concept (r=.39), CPR attitude (r=.26), and bio-medical ethics of nursing students showed a statistically significant positive correlation. The significant predictors of bio-medical ethics were idealism (β=.04) and professional self-concept (β=.18). Conclusion : Based on the research results, the development of various types of educational programs that can improve bio-medical ethics capabilities should be developed. First, comprehensive education on ethical principles and concepts should be provided in ethical decision-making situations. Second, educational content that can foster professional self-concept and idealistic ethical disposition should be included to understand ethical beliefs. It is necessary to apply educational programs, such as simulation, discussion, and problem-solving teaching and learning methods, so nursing students can actively participate in and judge bio-medical ethics situations.

    Kurzfassung: Purpose : This study was conducted to determine what factors influence the academic self-efficacy of the nursing students exposed to a contactless classroom environment due to COVID-19. Method : This is a descriptive research study conducted to determine the effect on the academic self-efficacy after grasping the perceived stress and degree of coping of the nursing students. Results : As a result of the study, the subject's perceived stress was 1.80±0.62 points, coping ability was 2.84±0.22 points, and academic self-efficacy was 3.16±0.53 points on average. Factors affecting academic self-efficacy are perceived stress, coping, and personality type. The lower the perceived stress and the more coping strategies are used, the higher the academic self-efficacy. As for personality types, extroverted, intuitive types and judging type have high academic self-efficacy. In addition, the judging type has the greatest influence on academic self-efficacy. The explanatory power of these variables was 36.9%. Conclusion : Based on the results of this study, education should be provided to improve academic self-efficacy. It is necessary to develop various extracurricular programs that improve stress management, coping skills, and personality strengths. Continuous management from freshmen to graduates should be carried out, which will help nursing students who will grow into nurses in the future understand and manage themselves.
