Abstract:
For Ca-doped single crystal of KTaO 3 magnetoresistance oscillations have been observed at 1.4 K up to the field of 16 T. More than three frequency components can be assigned to interconnected trajectories caused by the magnetic breakdown effect, in addition to the normal ones of the heavy and light electrons. From the angular dependence of the frequencies, we have determined the band parameters, which are found to be consistent with the criterion for the magnetic breakdown effect.
