Abstract:
An infant with the megacystis microcolon intestinal hypoperistalsis syndrome, required total parenteral nutrition due to ineffective gastrointestinal function, and developed copper deficiency after a prolonged course in total parenteral nutrition in conjunction with a chronic draining jejunostomy.
