Abstract: Naturally, the Internet as an open network allows millions of users to interact each other. Furthermore, the giant network vulnerable to various malicious activities that potentially causes many (losses) for both resources and humanity. In order to reduce the potential attacking activities, Internet Engineering Task Force has standardized a network level security so-called IP Security. The key process behind the IP Security is a Security Association that is identified by Security Parameter Index. The initiation of Security Association performance depends on the encryption algorithm used. Hence, the performance of the algorithm candidate is an important consideration. This paper aims to evaluate some encryption algorithm to be used in IPv6 network. Results of the experiments shows that ECP 384 based on the elliptic curve algorithms outperforms than the traditional algorithm such as MODP 1024 and MODP 3072.

Abstract: Indonesian agricultural system has improved significantly along with technological developments. However, as a result of technological developments, agricultural land becomes narrow. To overcome the increasingly narrow farming land, start developing systems suitable for planting with aeroponic system. Unpredictable environmental climate changes can disrupt productivity growth and create low quality crops. To solve this problem, monitoring system based on Android needed. This system is used to monitor in parameters change, the parameters include temperature and humidity. Android-based monitoring system uses java programming and is open source, besides the user can monitor the development of spinach plants, by looking at data that has been stored into the database so that users can know the development of the plant. This application can be accessed via smartphone with android operating system as a client server.

Abstract: In the power plant power system, voltage drops often occur and one of the contributing factors is a short circuit that affects the performance of motor drivers on the mills in the generator. In this research proposed the use of compensation dynamic voltage restorer (DVR) to damped voltage sag. The DVR using a three-phase voltage source inverter (VSI) with voltage loop control (PI). To detect the voltage drop system using park transform and apply it in the voltage regulator as a control system function that detects the voltage amplitude at the sensitive load continuously. The result of simulation in system distribution with active load 280 kVA and 50 kVAR reactive, before a voltage compensation system 0.67 pu and after voltage compensation system becomes 0.99 pu on nominal voltage 0f 380V. The performance of DVR is reliable because it is able to compensate quickly to changes in the value of the voltage

Abstract: In 2017, the aggregate electrification ratio in Indonesia has been achieving 92.8%. However, some rural areas such as in Maluku and Papua Islands still have low electrification ratio (~70%). One of the main problems in supplying electricity to rural areas in Indonesia is the geographical concern which consisted of islands leading to the difficulty of electricity grid development. In some areas, diesel power plant has been being built to supply the electricity. However, it causes another problem to transport the primary energy source to the targeted area which would increase the cost of electricity supply. Besides, it also needs investment cost to build transmission and distribution systems, as well as the maintenance expenses. To resolve this issue, a new scheme of battery-based Tabung Listrik or TaLis (DC-based power bank) and DC house system is proposed to be the solution to provide electricity to rural areas. The potential of local renewable energy sources such as biomass, hydro, wind, and solar could be utilized to be charging sources of batteries (TaLis). This study presents the TaLis prototype, DC house installation, supply chain process and charging scheme of TaLis, and cost comparison between the proposed system with other existing power systems such as communal PV farm and diesel power plant. We found that TaLis and DC house system provided the least cost of electricity production compared to other power systems, i.e. $0.88/kWh for TaLis and DC house system, $1.65/kWh for diesel power plant, and $1.47/kWh for communal PV farm. Implementation of this approach is expected to improve the welfare and quality of life of rural communities immediately.

Abstract: Household electric power sector is highlighted as one of significant contributors to national energy consumption. To reduce electric energy usage in this sector, a technique called Non-Intrusive Load Monitoring (NILM) has been developed recently. NILM is a load disaggregating and monitoring tool that can be used to identify the daily usage behavior of individual electric appliance. Different to conventional method, NILM promises the reduction of sensor deployment significantly. NILM commonly uses either transient or steady state signal. Based on load/appliance signal condition, many NILM’s research results have been published. In this paper, steady state modification method of backpropagation neural network (NN) is applied for developing NILM. We use steady state signal to disaggregate the sum of load power signal. In the proposed method, NN is explored for feature extraction of electric power consumption of individual appliance. The presented method is powerful for load power signal which has almost same value. To verify the effectiveness of proposed method, data provided by tracebase.org has been used. The presented method can be applied for local data. It is obvious from simulation results that the proposed method could improve the recognition rate of appliances until 100 %.

Abstract: There are several methods returning scattered books in library, such as asking visitors to put them back to the bookshelf, recruiting more employees, or creating system that can return the books automatically. But, by using the system, visitors no need to walk to certain bookshelf. The system itself called Automatic Guided Device included of Automatic Guided Vehicle (AGV), RFID tag, scissor-lift, and book thruster. Every books have RFID tags which contains the book database. There are name of books and shelf location inside of the database. Visitors just need scan the book(s) and laid on the device, then the system will begin to operate. After that, this Automatic Guided Device sensor equipped will start its journey and go through to the location of bookshelf by following tracked line on the floor. To show them, it uses ASCII Table in the C Source Code Program. This table is to represent information substitutes which contains certain number, then it will be declared as the bookshelf location spot. After reaching certain distance, scissor-lift lifts as high as the table. Then scissor-lift stops, while the book thruster removing the book from device into bookshelf. So, this system not only returning the books without any manual operation but also can do more things such as lifting and putting the books automatically at once. Based on several tests, AGD reaches at certain spot within an average 60% of successfulness by using ASCII Table numbering format.

Abstract: The Industry 4.0 indicate the increases in competitive pressures, the margins reduction, the availability of new technology and the marketing development techniques suggest making more complex decisions to make and sustain the success. Data management is essential for organizations because the administrative process, which data is acquired, validated, stored, protected and processed through its accessibility, reliability and timeliness ensures that the needs of data are met. It is also a process of developing data architectures, practices and procedures that address the data and then implement these aspects on a regular basis. All these process will ease and smoothen the business flow. Therefore, there are number of data management challenges to maintain sheer volume of data, taking reactive approach, lack of process and data handling, fragmented data ownership and driving a data culture. This study investigate the current issues in health industry to overcome through recognizing both the importance of quality data and having more sophisticated approach to manage data as the organization begin shifting to be more data centric model.

Abstract: PT PJC is a company synthetic resin. Synthetic resin is that produced by PT PJC is sold to the market in three types of packing, one of then is the drum packing type that weigh 208 kg. One of the activities that use the manual handling product (manual material handling) is the activity of filling, the drum-packed product will be transfered with drum packaging to the finishing goods area which done by the man force. Manual material handling concept has several advantages, one of which is easy to do by humans. However, manual handling material handling becomes an issue if the material load exceeds the maximum lifting of the worker because of the potential risk of injury to the human body, especially if it is carried out simultaneously for a relatively long period of time. One of the risks of human injury that can be experienced is Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs). This research will investigate the musculoskeletal complaints on Filling workers which will form the basic of the ergonomically-based Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) design basic. Data is taken by a Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire. The result shows that most of the dominant body pain felt by the worker as the impact of previous day’s work was the complaints of pain on the left and right wrists, left and right palms, left and right knees, left and right calves, left and right ankles, while the pains felt by the workers after the activity are pain in the back, waist, left and right elbow, left and right thighs, left and right calvs, left and right ankles. The pain work will disappear after the night rest, but there is no guarantee that the worker’s body will be fit in the morning, because of the remnants of body pain that have not been fully fit, thus affecting the readiness of physical conditions at work in the morning. These body pain can be reduced by designing the right standard operating procedure (SOP) based on an ergonomic work attitude. Musculoskeletal pain before the activity were 39.3 ± 10.6 and after activity was 76.5 ± 14.9 or an increase in musculoskeletal pain of 94.66%.
