Abstract: The way consumers behave is fundamental to marketing. Journal of Consumer Behaviour ( JCB ) is an international journal dedicated to publishing the latest developments of consumer behaviour. To gain an understanding of the evolution and trends in consumer behaviour, this study presents a retrospective review of JCB using bibliometric analysis. Using bibliographic records of JCB from Scopus, this study finds that consumer behaviour research in JCB has grown substantially in terms of collaboration (co‐authorships), global reach (countries), productivity (publications), and impact (citations). The major themes explored by consumer behaviour research in JCB include consumer information processing, consumption communities, consumption value, sustainable consumption, intergenerational consumer behaviour, consumer‐brand relationship, consumer ethics, and conditional relationships in consumer behaviour. The most recent consumer behaviour research in JCB has considered externalities such as the COVID‐19 pandemic and focused on themes such as consumer ethics and sustainable consumption in line with the global movement toward environmental social governance (ESG) and sustainable development goals (SDGs).

Abstract: Blockchain operates on a highly secured framework, and its decentralized consensus has benefits for supply chain sustainability. Scholars have recognized the growing importance of sustainability in supply chains and studied the potential of blockchain for sustainable supply chain management. However, no study has taken stock of high-quality research in this area. To address this gap, this paper aims to provide a state-of-the-art overview of high-quality research on blockchain for sustainable supply chain management. To do so, this paper conducts a systematic literature review using a bibliometric analysis of 146 high-quality articles on blockchain for sustainable supply chain management that have been published in journals ranked “A*”, “A”, and “B” by the Australian Business Deans Council and retrieved from the Scopus database. In doing so, this paper unpacks the most prominent journals, authors, institutions, and countries that have contributed to three major themes in the field, namely blockchain for sustainable business activities, decision support systems using blockchain, and blockchain for intelligent transportation system. This paper also reveals the use of blockchain for sustainable supply chain management across four major sectors, namely food, healthcare, manufacturing, and infrastructure, and concludes with suggestions for future research in each sector.

Abstract: Deep learning (DL) technologies assist manufacturers to manage their business operations. This research aims to present state-of-the-art insights on the trends and ways forward for DL applications in manufacturing operations. Design/methodology/approach Using bibliometric analysis and the SPAR-4-SLR protocol, this research conducts a systematic literature review to present a scientific mapping of top-tier research on DL applications in manufacturing operations. Findings This research discovers and delivers key insights on six knowledge clusters pertaining to DL applications in manufacturing operations: automated system modelling, intelligent fault diagnosis, forecasting, sustainable manufacturing, environmental management, and intelligent scheduling. Research limitations/implications This research establishes the important roles of DL in manufacturing operations. However, these insights were derived from top-tier journals only. Therefore, this research does not discount the possibility of the availability of additional insights in alternative outlets, such as conference proceedings, where teasers into emerging and developing concepts may be published. Originality/value This research contributes seminal insights into DL applications in manufacturing operations. In this regard, this research is valuable to readers (academic scholars and industry practitioners) interested to gain an understanding of the important roles of DL in manufacturing operations as well as the future of its applications for Industry 4.0, such as Maintenance 4.0, Quality 4.0, Logistics 4.0, Manufacturing 4.0, Sustainability 4.0, and Supply Chain 4.0.

Abstract: As modern marketing environments become increasingly data‐intensive, the role of marketing analytics in illuminating the dynamics of customer psychology to inform marketing decision‐making becomes critical. This study conducts a systematic literature review using a bibliometric analysis of 122 studies identified and retrieved from Scopus, focusing on the expansive domain of marketing analytics. Our review serves as a conduit binding the fragmented past, present, and future of marketing analytics, presenting an organized framework that highlights the characteristic theoretical underpinnings associated with it. Beyond offering a panoramic perspective of key resources—encompassing journals, authors, countries/territories, and institutions—we delve deeply into predominant themes in marketing analytics. These themes underscore its vital applications, from decision‐making, forecasting, and capability building, to understanding customer journeys and gaining a competitive edge. Central to our discourse is the study's implication, emphasizing marketing analytics as a bridge to a more informed grasp of customer psychology in today's customer‐centric, data‐driven environment. Through this lens, marketing analytics becomes a potent tool to capture psychological nuances, uncovering facets that might be bypassed by traditional marketing, thereby empowering enriched decision‐making in modern marketing strategies.

Abstract: Business Strategy and the Environment ( BSE ) is a premier journal dedicated to interdisciplinary research that advances business practice leading to improvements in environmental performance. Using big data analytics, this review examines the intellectual structure and the drivers of research impact of BSE in the scholarly domain. The bibliometric results suggest three major findings. First, the top three countries contributing to BSE are the United Kingdom, the United States, and China. Second, BSE 's research manifests through five thematic clusters, namely, business strategy and sustainability; corporate governance and sustainability reporting; green marketing and pro‐environmental behavior; innovation and environmental policy; and environmental management systems. Finally, BSE 's research impact in terms of citations is significantly influenced by author affiliation (United States); article age (older), appearance (lead article and special issue), length (longer), and method (mix methods); title length (shorter title); and number of keywords (more keywords) and references (more references). Implications for BSE 's readers and future contributors are discussed.

Abstract: Career Development International ( CDI ) is an established source of scientific research on careers and development. The journal reached its 25-years milestone in 2021. To commemorate the occasion, the article aims to provide a retrospective of the major trends, research constituents, thematic structure and key factors explaining the citation impact of CDI articles between 1996 and 2020. Design/methodology/approach The article extracts bibliographic data of CDI from Scopus and uses that data in (1) a series of bibliometric analyses to explain the major trends, research constituents and thematic structure and (2) a negative binomial regression analysis to explain the key factors affecting the citation impact of CDI. Findings The article finds that CDI has progressed and contributed substantially to the scientific community since its inception 25 years ago. The contributions in CDI are mainly from America and Europe and can be organized around five major clusters, namely career development, work engagement, entrepreneurship career, career outcomes and career mentoring. Research limitations/implications The article provides a rich overview of CDI, but the findings are limited to the accuracy and availability of bibliographic data of CDI from Scopus. Originality/value The article extends Akkermans and Kubasch's (2017) 5-years retrospection of major journals on career and development through a 25-years retrospection of CDI, and in doing so, the article provides a longer and more accurate representation of CDI's contributions to the extant literature on career and development.
