    Kurzfassung: This study aims to determine the governance factors that influence the scientific research output of lecturers through the application of PLS-SEM, in conjunction with ANOVA and t-test. Based on a survey of 398 lecturers in twelve higher education institutions (HEIs) in Vietnam, the psychometric properties of the scales measuring the considered dimensions of scientific research outputs were initially examined through the Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) procedure, prior to being input into the PLS-SEM model. The SEM model comprised six constructs for the scientific research outputs: scientific research objectives of HEIs, leadership, decentralization, policies for lecturers, support for scientific research activities, and resources for scientific research. The results reveal that resources for scientific research have the most impact on lecturers’ scientific research output, followed by policies for lecturers, support for scientific research activities, scientific research objectives of HEIs, and finally, leadership.

    Kurzfassung: Eleven conjugates between dihydroartemisinin (DHA) with thiols containing both ether and thioether bonds were designed, synthesized by a two-step procedure including etherification and S-alkylation. Analysis of the NMR spectral data indicated that the dimer of DHA with thiols 6-mercaptopurine and 2-mercaptoimidazole was produced with yields of 31% and 62%, respectively. Furthermore, the tautomerization of thiol 5-methoxy-2-mercaptobenzimidazole led to the formation of a mixture of two isomers in which they might be interchangeable through a dynamic tautomeric equilibrium in the solution. Screening in vitro biological activities revealed that most of the synthesized conjugates showed good cytotoxic and anti-inflammatory activity, while three of them displayed α-glucosidase inhibitory activity. Notably, two conjugates 5d and 5e of DHA with thiols 2-mercaptopyrimidine and 2-mercaptobenzothiazole had an effect in all tested activities in which conjugate 5e is the most potent.

    Kurzfassung: CuSO4/hydrazine hydrate was used as a catalyst system for copper(I)-catalyzed alkyne-azide cycloaddition (CuAAC) of AZT and 5′-azido adenosine with terminal alkynes to give 30 novel 1,2,3-triazole derivatives. Screening for their anticancer, anti-inflammatory, angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2), and 3C-like protease (3CLpro) inhibitory activities showed that several triazoles of AZT containing murayafoline A and indirubin-3′-oxime inhibited the growth of HepG2 and LU-1 with the IC50 values ranging from 11.01 to 19.87 μg/mL. Besides that, some triazole derivatives of adenosine exhibited anti-inflammatory activity against RAW264.7 cells with the IC50 values within an interval of 12.00–59.48.00 μg/mL. Especially, two triazoles of adenosine with indirubin-3′-oxime at O- and N1 positions expressed the ACE2 and 3CLpro inhibitory activities in which the triazole of adenosine with indirubin-3′-oxime at N1 inhibited both ACE2 and 3CLpro inhibitory activities with IC50 values of 135.62 and 142.95 μg/mL, respectively.

    Kurzfassung: The spreading of the East Vietnam Sea (EVS, also known as Bien Dong, or the South China Sea), leading to the occurrence of syn-spreading (33-16 Ma) and post-spreading ( 〈 16 to present) volcanism. Syn-spreading magma making up thick layers of tholeiitic basalt with a geochemical composition close to the refractory and depleted mid-ocean ridge basalt (MORB) is mainly distributed inside the EVS basin. The post-spreading magma is widely distributed inside the basin and extended to South and SE China, Hainan island, Southern Laos (Bolaven), Khorat Plateau (Thailand), and Vietnam, showing the typical intraplate geochemistry. Basaltic samples were collected at many places in Indochina countries, Vietnam’s coastal and continental shelf areas, to analyze for eruption age, petrographical, geochemical, and isotopic composition to understand the similarities and differences in the mantle sources between regions. The results reveal that basalts from some areas show geochemical features suggesting they were derived subsequently by spinel peridotite and garnet peridotite melting, forming high-Si, low-Mg, and low-Ti tholeiitic basalt to low-Si, high-Mg, and high-Ti alkaline basalt with the trace element enrichment increasing over time. Other basalts have geochemical and isotopic characteristics unchanged over a long period. The post-spreading basalt’s radiogenic Sr-Nd-Hf-Pb isotopic compositions show different regional basalts distribute in the various fields regardless of eruption age, suggesting that their mantle source feature is space-dependent. The post-EVS spreading basalts expose the regional heterogeneity, reflecting the mixture of at least three components, including a depleted mantle (DM) represented by the syn-EVS spreading source, similar to the DUPAL-bearing Indian MORB source; an enriched mantle type 1 (EM1), and type 2 (EM2). The DM may interact and acquire either EM1 or EM2 in the sub-continental lithospheric mantle; as a result, different eruption at different area acquires distinct isotopic signature, reflecting the heterogeneous nature of the subcontinental lithospheric mantle. The study proposes a suitable mantle dynamic model that explains the EVS spreading kinematics and induced volcanism following the India - Eurasian collision from the Eocene based on the research outcomes.

    Kurzfassung: Recovery of nutrients from the manure wastewater has a potential for cost saving in the treatment process. Utilizing the recovered nutrients help reducing the amount of chemical fertilizer in an agriculture. The objective of this research is recovering nutrients from pig farm wastewater via the adsorption of various zeolite and this zeolite compound as organic fertilizer in growth of Green mustard. The objective of this research is optimizing the absorption of the total nitrogen and phosphorus of zeolite under various parameters, including the zeolite weight, the adsorption time, Azotobacter addition and the aeration. Results showed that the rate of 30g zeolite with supplementation of 5ml microbial was aerated in 72 hours for the best efficiency. After 21dates of growth, combination of chemical fertilizers and organic fertilizers mentioned the great products on both height and total harvested weight.

    Kurzfassung: Dynamic simulation plays a crucial role in process engineering, especially in designing control systems. As the interest in dynamic simulation for effective control and operation rises, the goal of the paper is to study and improve the dynamic performance of a styrene production process using simulation software to tackle various process design problems. The simulation process is carried out in four stages. In the first stage, flowsheet topology and process parameters are selected to meet the requirement of the main product. Control systems are designed for each piece of equipment in the process in the second stage. Both of the stages mentioned earlier are conducted in a steady-state environment. After finishing the second stage, steady-state simulation is complete. The third stage involves tuning control parameters of control loops in a dynamic environment. In the final stage, the performance of the system is tested by introducing disturbances in the form of pulse inputs. The results of the dynamic simulation illustrate that the control system is significantly influenced by the ethylbenzene feed flowrate disturbance. The production rate is heavily affected by the disturbance, while the production quality is assured. The average settling time of the process is 270 minutes.

    Kurzfassung: The study examines the relationship between money supply and inflation in Vietnam in the period of 2005-2021. The relationship between money supply and inflation is addressed in economic theories and models and has been studied by many experts in different economies in different periods. To examine the relationship between money supply and inflation in Vietnam in the period of 2005-2021, the research team collected data on money supply and inflation rate, then analyzed this relationship during three periods of 2005-2011, 2012-2019 and 2019-2021. Next, the research team collected data on money supply (MS - total means of payment) and consumer price index (CPI), quarterly data from the first quarter of 2005 to the fourth quarter of 2021 and uses Eviews 8 software for analyzing. The research team uses a linear regression model to evaluate the impact of money supply growth (GMS) on consumer price index (CPI), a variable representing the inflation rate, of Vietnam during the research period. The model results support the view that money supply growth and past inflation are among the factors affecting inflation in Vietnam. From the research results and the actual money supply, the money supply growth rate as well as the inflation rate in Vietnam during the research period, the research team makes some policy recommendations to achieve the targets of supporting economic recovery, controlling inflation, stabilizing the macro-economy in Vietnam after the Covid-19 pandemic.

    Kurzfassung: We study the charge ordering behavior under magnetic field H in the extended Hubbard model within the coherent potential approximation. At quarter filling, for small H we find that the relative variation of critical temperature is quadratic with the coefficient α smaller than the one for conventional spin-Peierls systems. For intermediate fields, a melting of the charge ordering on decreasing temperature under fixed H at various band filling is found.
