Abstract:
Accompanying the current emphasis on dealing with the social concerns of child sexual abuse and spouse abuse is a heightened sensitivity to family issues. However, specific problem areas must be addressed when studying and evaluating such issues. The authors propose a researcher–practitioner model and identify five problem areas. Ways to deal with each problem area are discussed.
