Abstract:
Insights into the physiological processes mediated by gibberellins (GAs) are currently facing a bottleneck in the quantification of the ultra‐trace endogenous GAs in tiny plant organs. To overcome this challenge, a chemical derivatization‐enhanced ultra‐high‐performance liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry method was successfully established, capable of quantifying near‐attomole endogenous GAs in 80–250 μg floral organs dissected from a single Arabidopsis flower.
