    Abstract: A new LiCoO 2 recovery technology from leaching solution of spent Li-ion batteries was studied in this paper. Leaching solution contained many metals, such as Cu, Co and Fe. Copper was removed through replacement by iron powder followed by iron precipitation in goethite method. The experimental results show that Cu can be removed 99% at least through replacement by Fe powder, and the removal of Fe can achieve 99% by goethite method. The optimum Cu removal conditions are that temperature is 50 °C, Fe mol /Cu mol =1.5,reaction time is 30 min. The optimum Fe removal conditions are that terminal precipitation pH is 4, temperature is 90 °C, reaction time is 6 h. The remainder Co can be mixed with Li 2 CO 3 ,LiOH•H 2 O and LiAc•2H 2 O to adjust the Li/Co molar ratio to 1.00. The new LiCoO 2 was obtained by calcining the mixture at 850°C for 12 h in the air. Structure and morphology of the recycled powders and resulted sample were observed by XRD and SEM technique, respectively. The layered structure of the LiCoO 2 synthesized by adding Li 2 CO 3 is best, and it is found to have the best characteristics as cathode material in terms of charge–discharge capacity and cycling performance.

    Abstract: In order to suit the demand of monitoring and fault diagnosis of modern small and medium machinery devices better, this paper discusses the development of machinery condition monitoring and fault diagnosis system of good universality and strong expansibility using LabVIEW. Mainly illuminates vibration signal, temperature signal and electric current signal acquisition module using NI data acquisition hardware; signal analysis module in time domain, frequency domain and joint time–frequency domain using signal processing technology. DataSocket, database and fuzzy diagnosis technique have been utilized enabling this system to monitor and diagnose machinery fault remotely.

    Abstract: Current ULSI circuits have features with dimensions in the nanoscale region. As the critical dimension shrinks, Cu BEOL systems face reliability impacts. Alloying has been proved to be a promising technique to retard grain boundary electro-migration (EM). In this paper, dilute Cu Alloys such as Cu-Al, Cu-Mn for dual-damascene interconnect applications have been investigated. The alloy chosen principle for nanoscale interconnects has been discussed. The ultrahigh purity copper alloy target properties including purity, alloy composition, grain size and sputtering performance were investigated, to lay the foundation for the application of the large-size ultrahigh purity copper alloy target used for 300mm wafer fabrication. The relationships between deposited film behaviors and sputtering target properties in some applications were also discussed. In order to acquire high quality thin film, the properties of sputtering target such as alloy composition homogeneity, grain size and uniformity et al. have to be well controlled by proper fabrication techniques.

    Abstract: In this essay, the effects of grain refinement on corrosion behavior and hardness of equal-channel-angular-pressed (ECAPed) AISI 304 austenitic SS were studied. Finer grains with average size of 5μm in the specimen were obtained after four ECAPed passes compared with as-received one with grain size in range of 55μm Strain-induced grain refinement process can increase grain boundary and dislocation. Thus, the corrosion resistance of ECAPed AISI 304 austenitic SS would be improved.The refined microstructure achieves more positive open circuit potential (OCP) and lower corrosion current density in polarization corrosion tests.Through this process, austenitic stainless steel with better performance in corrosion resistance can be gained.

    Abstract: The aim of the present study is to clarify the actual conditions of indoor thermal environment with building materials, which built after 1980 years in urban areas of Zhejiang Province. In this paper, the investigations about building characteristics and indoor thermal environment were carried out in Hangjiahu Plain, Zhenan hills and mountains etc. The results show that the wall materials of the most residential buildings are clay solid bricks, the most windows type is aluminum alloy, and the most buildings are uninsulated. In summer, over half of the air- conditions operate more than 6 hours in residential buildings. The indoor thermal comfort is strongly affected by thermal performance of windows.

    Abstract: As the corroded metal grounding usually has a high resistance, the paper presents a new kind of effective graphite grounding conductor to solve the related problems during the reform or construction process. By discussing the ratio of raw material, the structure designs, the principle of reducing resistance and the installation methods in detail, it proves the effectiveness of this grounding conductor. The formula made up with graphite, high-grade cement, small stones and sands, the graphite grounding conductor can show the characteristics of stable performance, excellent corrosion resistance, non-toxic and pollution-free. In addition, the structure of corrugation or cavity can effectively reduce the ground resistance, and it is quite significant for the safe and reliable operation of the power grid.

    Abstract: Envelope analysis based on the combination of complex Morlet wavelet and Kurtogram have advantages of automatic calculation of the center frequency and bandwidth of required band-pass filter. However, there are some drawbacks in the traditional algorithm, which include that the filter bandwidth is not -3dB bandwidth and the analysis frequency band covered by the filter-banks are inconsistent at different levels. A new algorithm is introduced in this paper. Through it, both optimal center frequency and bandwidth of band-pass filter in the envelop analysis can be obtained adaptively. Meanwhile, it ensures that the filters in the filter-banks are overlapped at the point of -3dB bandwidth and the consistency of frequency band that the filter-banks covered.

    Abstract: Based on the expressway construction from Xilinhaote to Sanggendalai in China, this paper discussed difficulties and solutions of asphalt mixture using andesite aggregate used as pavement lower surface. There are a lot of andesite reserves in Ximeng area, China. However, andesite aggregate has poor adhesion with asphalt bitumen because of its fragile textures, dense surface and low water absorption rate .Consequently the moisture stability of asphalt mixture using andesite aggregate is poor. Meanwhile, the mixture can not be compacted easily due to the hardness of andesite aggregate. In this paper, in order to solve the problem on the poor adhesion and compaction for asphalt mixture using andesite aggregate, different methods were investigated. The results show that adding adhesion agent or using limestone fine aggregate is an effective way to make the asphalt mixture acting as pavement lower surface.
