Abstract:
Seawater DMS and DMS flux is correlated with SSTs up to temperatures of 30 °C, when production of DMS markedly decreases Seawater DMS, dimethylsulphoniopropionate (DMSP), and DMS flux from coral reefs are significantly affected by low and high tides Over 0.6 Gmol of sulfur is emitted into the atmosphere over the GBR per annum where it can potentially affect the climate in the GBR region
