    Abstract: The article summarises the preliminary results of a three-stage study of the influence of the socio-cultural context on the life and educational manifestations of modern high school students. Firstly, data on the Russian representatives of «Generation Z» were specified. At the second stage of the research, the manifestations of «Generation Z» representatives, regarding everyday school life were studied. At the third stage of the research, there were analysed different educational learning situations as opportunities for senior students to show the behavioural and intellectual characteristics inherent in the digital generation. The main results of the study make it possible to set new tasks in the study of the socio-cultural context of the educational situation of modern high school students.

    Abstract: Thermo-mechanical controlled processing (TMCP) is employed to obtain the required level of mechanical properties of contemporary HSLA steel plates utilized for gas and oil pipeline production. The strength and crack resistance of pipeline steels are mainly determined by its microstructure and crystallographic texture. In this study, the influence of the structural and textural states of industrially produced API-5L X70-X80 pipeline steels on tensile mechanical properties was analyzed. TMCP routes with different hot rolling temperatures and cooling rates were employed. The texture of steel was assessed using the Taylor factor, which was calculated based on electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD). The decrease in rolling temperature resulted in the sharper texture characterized by {001} planes banding (cleavage planes in the bcc lattice) parallel to rolling direction. The tensile deformation behavior at the stage of necking was determined by the crystallographic and morphological texture of the material and demonstrated significant anisotropy. Rupture of all investigated samples was accompanied by the development of splitting on the fracture surface. The splitting was localized in the rolling plane similar to the splitting in standard Charpy tests of pipeline steels.

    Abstract: Introduction. According to world statistics, some of the young teachers leave educational organizations. The reason is in the “axiological conflict”: the contradiction between the value orientations of the teacher himself and the values of the education system. The desire to resolve this contradiction determines the purpose of the study: to determine the content and methods of forming the value orientations of young teachers as a predictor of their professional detail. Materials and methods. The theoretical part of the study is based on the analysis and generalization of primary sources on the problem under study. Empirical methods are presented by a formative experiment conducted on the basis of the author's program of additional professional education, aimed at resolving the axiological conflict of young teachers. Value orientations were studied using the methodology of N. A. Samoilik "Diagnostics of the professional and value orientations of the individual". The results were processed using the methods of mathematical statistics (Student's t-test). The study involved teachers of the Kirov region with work experience from 1 to 5 years (N = 161 people). Research results. It has been empirically proven that the program of additional professional education causes positive dynamics in the development of value orientations of novice teachers: in the emotional (the difference between the results of the input and final diagnostics was 2.75 walls), cognitive (2.6), and behavioral (2.3) components. The empirical value for each criterion is tCR = 1.99 at p ≤ 0.05, tCR = 2.64 at p ≤ 0.01. The greatest changes have occurred in such structural components of value orientations as: "values - goals" (3.5), "values - relationships" (2.8) and "values - skills" (2.7). Less changed were "values - qualities" (1.9), "values - result" (2.0) and "values - knowledge" (2.4). Discussion and conclusions. The reasons for the axiological conflict, caused by the contradictions between: the values of the education system and the requirements imposed on it by society, the state and the market, have been determined; "Values-expectations" to the young teacher and his value orientations. The effectiveness of the author's additional professional program in the development of the emotional, cognitive and behavioral components of the value orientations of novice teachers has been proved.

    Abstract: The article deals with the organization of mentoring in a pedagogical university. The article analyses forms of mentoring, its educational potential and difficulties arising in its organization in an educational institution. The authors propose an original model of mentoring, which is implemented through the functioning of the Center for the Support of Young Teachers. Combining educational, scientific and practical activities, preparation of scientific and methodological products, consulting and expert services, professional skills competitions and other opportunities for young teachers, the center creates favorable conditions for overcoming the difficulties of the adaptation period, forming situations of pedagogical success and consolidating teachers in educational organizations at the initial stage of their professional career.

    Abstract: The transition of Russian society to the post-industrial stage actualizes the problem of developing educational systems based on innovations and the search for a relevant methodology for managing pedagogical innovations. Its basis is the logistics of pedagogical innovations as the theory and practice of flow control in educational systems. The purpose of the study is to determine the paradigms of logistic development of pedagogical innovations as a methodology and mechanism for managing innovation in an educational holding. The hypothesis is presented by the assumption that these paradigms form value, content and instrumental frameworks for the implementation and development of logistics of pedagogical innovations. The study is based on an analysis of primary sources, including 1492 cases, which include reports on the results of innovative activities of educational organizations of Ulyanovsk Oblast, which are innovative sites that are part of a regional educational holding (100 educational organizations annually). The materials were prepared during the period from 2003-2004 to 2017-2018 academic years. We introduced the concept of “logistics of pedagogical innovations”, which describes the theory and practice of managing flows (pedagogical, infrastructural, integrative, interference) in an educational holding in order to ensure a steady flow of pedagogical innovations that are the result of its activities and development factor. We identified directions of development of pedagogical innovations logistics, which are defined by five paradigms: axiological (value of innovation), humanitarian (a person as a subject of logistics), interaction paradigm (focus on the development of interaction in the holding’s internal and external environment), meaningful (priority in the study of flows in an educational holding) and technological (focus on improving methods and means of logistics). Each of them sets priorities for improving the educational holding.

    Abstract: The relevance of the work is determined by the insufficient previous study of the influence of socio-cultural practices on the selfactualization of students of the supplementary education institutions. The purpose of the research is to study the influence of socio-cultural practices on the self-actualization of students of the supplementary education institutions. Hypothesis: participation of students in sociocultural practices will contribute to their self-actualization. The study sample was formed by adolescents aged 12–18. The experimental sample (n = 109) is represented by the students of DUC (Children-Adolescents Center) No. 3, the control one (n = 98) is formed by the students of SOSH (secondary school) No. 27, CDT (Center of Children’s Creative Work) No. 4, CRTDIU (Center of Children’s and Youth’s Creativity Development) named after A. Matrosov in Ulyanovsk. To study self-actualization, the following methods were used: the questionnaire “Success Motivation and Fear of Failure” by A. A. Rean, the Personal Orientation Inventory by E. Shostrom (adapted by A. Jones and R. Crandall). It has been found out that the use of socio-cultural practices in the supplementary education institutions leads to a noticeable increase in motivation for success and a decrease in motivation for avoiding failures among adolescents, and also to an increase in the number of students with a high level of self-actualization. Simultaneously, an increase in these indicators was also observed in the control group, but it was less significant. This is manifested in an increase in the number of winners and prize-winners of competitions, exhibitions, Olympiads among children who have been actively participating in socio-cultural practices for a long time. The authors make a conclusion about the positive impact of socio-cultural practices on the adolescents’ motivation and self-actualization. This experience can be recommended for use in schools and supplementary education institutions.
