Abstract:
Particulate matter (i.e., algae/phytoplankton) has the largest contribution to absorption in sea ice and underlying waters in the Arctic Ocean north of Svalbard Contribution of CDOM to total absorption in surface waters was lower than in other regions of the Arctic Ocean Detrial material had a significant contribution to total absorption at the sea‐ice surface, possible due to atmospheric accumulation
