Abstract: Aims . We aim to evaluate the association of maternal gestational oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) glucose concentrations with anthropometry in the offspring from birth to 12 months in Tianjin, China. Methods . A total of 27,157 pregnant women underwent OGTT during 26–30 weeks gestation, and their children had body weight/length measured from birth to 12 months old. Results . Maternal OGTT glucose concentrations at 26–30 gestational weeks were positively associated with Z-scores for birth length-for-gestational age and birth weight-for-length. Compared with infants born to mothers with normal glucose tolerance, infants born to mothers with gestational diabetes mellitus (impaired glucose tolerance/new diabetes) had higher mean values of Z-scores for birth length-for-gestational age (0.07/0.23; normal group −0.08) and birth weight-for-length (0.27/0.57; normal group −0.001), smaller changes in mean values of Z-scores for length-for-age (0.75/0.62; normal group 0.94) and weight-for-length (0.18/−0.17; normal group 0.37) from birth to month 3, and bigger changes in mean values in Z-scores for weight-for-length (0.07/0.12; normal group 0.02) from month 9 to 12. Conclusions . Abnormal maternal glucose tolerance during pregnancy was associated with higher birth weight and birth length, less weight and length gain in the first 3 months of life, and more weight gain in the months 9–12 of life.

Abstract: Thoracic surgery is the main surgical method for the treatment of respiratory diseases and lung diseases, but infections caused by improper care are prone to occur during the operation, which can induce pulmonary edema and lung injury and affect the effect of the operation and the subsequent recovery. Therefore, it is necessary to control the disease in time and adopt more scientific and comprehensive nursing measures. Based on the neural network algorithm, this paper constructs a neural network-based factor analysis model and applies the operating room management nursing to postoperative infection nursing after thoracic surgery and verifies the effect through the neural network model. The statistical parameters in this article mainly include the postoperative infection rate of thoracic surgery, patient satisfaction, postoperative rehabilitation effect, and complications. Through statistical analysis, it can be known that operating room management and nursing can play an important role in postoperative infection nursing after thoracic surgery, effectively reducing postoperative infection nursing after thoracic surgery, and improving the recovery effect of patients after infection.

Abstract: Objective. The aim of this study is to evaluate the efficacy of dienogest versus levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system (LNG-IUS) for the treatment of adenomyosis. Methods. In this retrospective study, 85 patients with adenomyosis treated in The First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from May 2019 to May 2021 were recruited and assigned, via the random number table method at a ratio of 1 : 1, to receive either dienogest (observation group, n = 41) or LNG-IUS (control group, n = 44). The patients presented with dysmenorrhea, menorrhagia, and infertility. The treatment outcome was evaluated using visual analogue scale (VAS) scores, menstrual volume, uterine volume, endometrial thickness, and adverse reactions. Results. After treatment, the VAS score, menstrual volume, and endometrial thickness were significantly decreased in both groups ( P 〈 0.05 ). After 3, 6, and 12 months of treatment, patients receiving dienogest showed significantly lower VAS scores compared to those treated with LNG-IUS ( P 〈 0.05 ). After 6 and 12 months of treatment, patients receiving dienogest were also found to have a significantly better control of menstrual volume compared to those receiving LNG-IUS ( P 〈 0.05 ). Irregular vaginal bleeding was mainly seen in the first 3 months of treatment with dienogest. The incidence of irregular vaginal bleeding lasting more than 6 months was lower with LNG-IUS treatment than with dienogest ( P 〈 0.05 ), and it decreased in both groups as the duration of treatment increased. Conclusion. Dienogest effectively alleviates dysmenorrhea, relieves pelvic pain, dyspareunia, and reduces menstrual flow in patients with adenomyosis, with few adverse effects and a high safety profile.

Abstract: Existing prediction models have low prediction accuracy for surface water pollution with many influencing factors. Taking algal bloom prediction as the entry point of surface water pollution research, LASSO-LARS algorithm is adopted to select the main factors affecting algal bloom variables. At the same time, combined with BP neural network in machine learning, a surface water pollution prediction model based on machine learning is proposed. The results show that the proposed method can accurately predict the algal blooms by using the BP neural network algal bloom prediction model, where the LASSO-LARS algorithm is used to select the variables, such as water temperature, pH, transparency, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, ammonia nitrogen, and chlorophyll a, as model inputs, and the relative error of prediction is less than 5.2%. Thus, the proposed method has certain validity and practical application value.

Abstract: This study studies the internal driving force and system construction issues in the integration of information technology and traditional business. Established on theory of platform leverage in the value creation, we use causal analysis and case studies to explore two closely related questions with data of 31 digital platforms (including 21 focal cases and 10 reference cases): (i) what is the value creation mechanism of these digital platforms? and (ii) how does the value creation mechanism affect the construction path of the system? The study identified three typical value creation mechanism configurations, i.e., innovation-driven, business integration, and data-driven, and then explained the system construction paths of these three configurations. We observed that the production and innovation leverages are the general construction drivers of the platform. However, the transaction leverage is only significant in a small number of platforms; that is, the role of network effects can be observed. These findings can deepen our understanding of platform theory in the digitalization of the real economy and explain why network effects cannot be the source of competitive advantage within the economic digitalization scenarios. We believe that it is of great significance to the digital transformation practice of the economy.

Abstract: Gastric mucosal immune microenvironment plays an important role in the occurrence and development of diseases such as inflammation and cancer. In the present study, single-sample gene set enrichment analysis (ssGSEA) was used to evaluate the expression of cytokines and the degree of immune cell infiltration in four different gastric mucosa tissues from normal gastric mucosa, simple gastritis, and atrophic gastritis to gastric cancer. Here, we show the immune microenvironments of these four gastric mucosae were significantly different. From inflammation to gastric cancer, most immunoinflammatory cells showed a downward trend such as central memory CD4 T cell. Instead, several cells showed an upward trend such as macrophage. Additionally, we found some chemokines/interleukins were illustrated to be low expressed (or highly expressed) in precancerous stage and highly expressed (or low expressed) in postcancerous stage, which demonstrated an opposite expression characteristic in pre-/postcancerous stage.

Abstract: In this paper, we introduce and analyze a mixed discontinuous Galerkin method for the Helmholtz equation. The mixed discontinuous Galerkin method is designed by using a discontinuous P p + 1 − 1 − P p − 1 finite element pair for the flux variable and the scattered field with p ≥ 0 . We can get optimal order convergence for the flux variable in both H div -like norm and L 2 norm and the scattered field in L 2 norm numerically. Moreover, we conduct the numerical experiments on the Helmholtz equation with perturbation and the rectangular waveguide, which also demonstrate the good performance of the mixed discontinuous Galerkin method.

Abstract: Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) for the treatment of esophageal mucosal lesions is associated with a risk of esophageal stenosis, especially for near-circumferential or circumferential esophageal mucosal defects. Here, we review historic and modern studies on the prevention and treatment of esophageal stenosis after ESD. These methods include prevention via pharmacological treatment, endoscopic autologous cell transplantation, endoscopic esophageal dilatation, and stent placement. This short review will focus on direct prevention and treatment, which may help guide the way forward.

Abstract: Traditional printing and tie-dyeing are an important part of Chinese handicrafts. It consists of three main techniques: batik, tie-dye, and multi-layer dyeing. Among the traditional printing and dyeing techniques, tie-dyeing creates an ever-changing visual artistic effect due to the diversity of its production methods. In modern society with the unprecedented development of technology and information, people’s life rhythm has accelerated, and the opposite “slow fashion” has become popular. More and more people are focusing more on the traditional craft of tie-dyeing. In contemporary fiber art, raw materials have become the soul and foundation of fiber art. This is also the difference between modern fiber art and traditional textile art. Entering the new era, the demand for textiles by people of all countries is also increasing, new functional requirements are put forward for textiles, and functional textiles emerge as the times require. The creative display of nanofibers is a comprehensive grasp of the properties of the fibrous material. It is the creativity and expression generated under the premise of understanding the type, shape, craft, and expression of fiber. It fully reflects the characteristics of the material itself, and it is also the designer’s ideological expression of the texture and shape of the material. It is then materialized into a certain connotation by appropriate technical means. In this paper, manual tie-dyeing is applied to nanofiber materials, making full use of the advantages of modern nanomaterials to promote the development of fabric tie-dyeing technology. In the performance test of the transmittance of nanomaterials to ultraviolet rays, it can be found that the transmittance of nanomaterials through the tie-dyeing process is lower for optical fibers with shorter wavelengths. When the wavelength of ultraviolet light is 313 nm, the transmittance of ZnO to ultraviolet light is 0. When the ultraviolet wavelength is 435 nm, the transmittance of ZnO to ultraviolet light is 45%.
