    Description / Table of Contents: If tungsten(VI) oxide is grinded in a laboratory vibration mill, the following alterations are observed: -  WO3 is reduced to an oxide of the composition WO2,98 as a limiting value. -  After grinding for one hour, α-β transformation takes place. -  Enlargement of surface is observed only within a very short period of grinding. -  With increasing period of grinding WO3 is completely converted to an amorphous state. -  DTA and EPR measurements indicate formation of radicals during grinding.
    Notes: Bei der Behandlung von Wolfram(VI)-oxid in einer Schwingmühle konnten folgende Veränderungen beobachtet werden: -  Das WO3 wird maximal bis zu einem Oxid der Zusammensetzung WO2,98 reduziert. -  Nach einer Mahldauer von einer Stunde ist die α-β-Umwandlung erfolgt. -  Eine Vergrößerung der Oberfläche wird nur bei sehr kurzer Mahldauer beobachtet. -  Das WO3 wird mit zunehmender Mahldauer vollständig amorphisiert. -  Aus DTA- und EPR-Messungen ergeben sich Hinweise auf während der Mahlung erzeugte Radikale.

    Description / Table of Contents: Stoichiometric mixture of powders BaO/WO3, Ba(OH)2/WO3, BaCO3/WO3, BaSO4/WO3 are grinded in a vibrating mill. IR spectra, X-rays diffractions, DTA, TGA. investigation of conductivity and solubility show that - 100% of BaWO4 arise from BaO/WO3 after grinding 5 hours in a vibrating mill,- the degree of interaction decreases in the sequence BaO—Ba(OH)2—BaCO3—BaSO4 corresponding to ΔR G °,- no tribochemical reaction BaSO4/WO3 occurs.
    Notes: Die stöchiometrischen Pulvergemische BaO/WO3, Ba(OH)2/WO3, BaSO3/WO3 und BaSO4/WO3 werden in einer Sehwingmühle gemahlen. IR-Spektren, Röntgen-Goniometeraufnahmen, DTA, TGA, Leitfähigkeits- und Löslichkeitsuntersuchungen zeigen, daß - aus BaO/WO3 nach einer Schwingmahldauer von fünf Stunden 100% BaWO4 entstehen.- der Umsatzgrad in der Reihenfolge BaO — Ba(OH)2—BaCO2—BaSO4 entsprechend den ΔRG°-Werten abnimmt.- BaSO4/WO3 tribochemisch nicht reagieren.

    Description / Table of Contents: Preparation of copper, manganese, cadmium and lead tungstate by tribochemical reactionStoichiometric mixtures of powders CuO/WO3, MnO/WO3, CdO/WO3, PbO/WO3 are grinded in a vibrating mill. Infrared spectra, X-ray diffraction, DTA and investigations of solubility show that on grinding in vibrating mill the tungstates MIIWO4 are formed from the oxide mixtures by tribochemical reaction.
    Notes: Die stöchiometrischen Pulvergemische CuO/WO3, MnO/WO3, CdO/WO3 und PbO/WO3 werden in einer Schwingmühle gemahlen. IR-Spektren, Röntgen-Goniometeraufnahmen, DTA und Lösbarkeitsuntersuchungen zeigen, daß während der Schwingmahlung infolge tribochemischer Reaktion aus den Oxidgemischen die entsprechenden normalen Wolframate entstehen.
