The chosen program provides an opportunity to explore the portrayal of women in media, the invisible domestic labor of women, and the practice of eating in the context of gender, through the representation of the kitchen and living room. Therefore, the study aims to first examine gender roles in the context of television representations in daily life and then analyze the roles of the contestants the 461-465 episodes of "Zuhal Topal'la Sofrada" that were aired in 2020. The qualitative data method was used to analyze the obtained findings, which were categorized and analyzed under three themes: the competitors' roles, the production of gender roles, and the ideal woman example of Zuhal Topal.
