    Abstract: Shiraiaceae is an important family in Pleosporales (Dothideomycetes), which includes medical fungi and plant pathogens. Two hypocrellin-producing taxa, Shiraia bambusicola and a novel genus Rubroshiraia gen. nov. , typified by Rubroshiraia bambusae are treated in this article. Maximum likelihood analysis, generated via RAxML (GTR+G model), using a combined SSU, LSU, TEF1 and RPB2 sequence dataset, shows that Rubroshiraia is close to Shiraia and belongs to the family Shiraiaceae. Descriptions, illustrations and a taxonomic key are provided for the genera in Shiraiaceae. Rubroshiraia morphologically differs from Shiraia in having small and dark ascostromata and filiform ascospores. Production of the ascostromatal metabolites, hypocrellin A and B, were examined by HPLC and spectrophotometer. The content of hypocrellin A and B of specimen HKAS 102255 ( R. bambusae ) is twice that produced by HKAS 102253 ( S. bambusicola ). To clarify the relationship between R. bambusae and Hypocrella bambusae , type material of the latter was examined and provided the illustration.

    Abstract: This study aimed to investigate the feasibility of Transcranial Doppler Ultrasonography (TCD) in evaluating neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (NHIE) modeling through monitoring the alteration of cerebrovascular flow in neonatal hypoxic-ischemic (HI) rats. Methods Postnatal 7-day-old Sprague Dawley (SD) rats were divided into the control group, HI group, and hypoxia (H) group. TCD was applied to assess the changes of cerebral blood vessels, cerebrovascular flow velocity, and heart rate (HR) in sagittal and coronal sections at 1, 2, 3, and 7 days after the operation. For accuracy, cerebral infarct of rats was examined by 2,3,5-Triphenyl tetrazolium chloride (TTC) staining and Nissl staining to simultaneously verify the establishment of NHIE modeling. Results Coronal and sagittal TCD scans revealed obvious alteration of cerebrovascular flow in main cerebral vessels. Obvious cerebrovascular back-flow was observed in anterior cerebral artery (ACA), basilar artery (BA), middle cerebral artery (MCA) of HI rats, along with accelerated cerebrovascular flows in the left internal carotid artery (ICA-L) and BA, decreased flows in right internal carotid artery (ICA-R) relative to those in the H and control groups. The alterations of cerebral blood flows in neonatal HI rats indicated successful ligation of right common carotid artery. Besides, TTC staining further validated the cerebral infarct was indeed caused due to ligation-induced insufficient blood supply. Damage to nervous tissues was also revealed by Nissl staining. Conclusion Cerebral blood flow assessment by TCD in neonatal HI rats contributed to cerebrovascular abnormalities observed in a real-time and non-invasive way. The present study elicits the potentials to utilize TCD as an effective means for monitoring the progression of injury as well as NHIE modeling. The abnormal appearance of cerebral blood flow is also beneficial to the early warning and effective detection in clinical practice.

    Abstract: Chirped biphotons generated via spontaneous parametric down-conversion in chirped quasi-phase-matched nonlinear crystals have ultrabroadband frequency spectra. However, the presence of quadratic frequency phase factor restricts their applications in quantum metrology and quantum lithography due to simultaneously lengthening the correlation times of biphotons. The key point to improve the temporal correlation of chirped biphotons is how to compensate for or remove the quadratic frequency phase factor. Phase compensation methods have been demonstrated to solve this problem in earlier reports. But the compressed efficiencies of these methods are strongly dependent on the length of the utilized dispersive medium and decreased by the higher-order dispersion of the dispersive medium. In this paper, based on the phase transform of a lens for a light field in spatial domain, we theoretically propose a method of the equivalent removal of the quadratic phase by realizing a Fresnel-zone lens-like modulation on the biphotons spectrum in frequency domain, thereby compressing the correlation time of chirped biphotons to the Fourier-transform limited width. By analogy to the idea of Fresnel wave zone plate, this lens-like modulation can be realized by dividing the biphoton spectrum into Fresnel frequency zones and applying only binary spectral phase (0, ) sequentially to these zones. The theoretical results show that the correlation time width of chirped biphotons can be reduced, and the correlation signal intensity can be increased compared with the original one, by a factor about 100 and 30, respectively. The physical reason is that these Fresnel frequency zones under binary spectral phase modulation will lead to constructive interference at zero delay and destructive interference elsewhere. This method can significantly enhance biphoton time correlation without biphoton signal loss and avoids the limitations of phase compensation methods. Therefore, we can obtain biphotons with both ultra-broad bandwidth and ultra-short correlation times by using our proposed method. The attainable compression efficiency is constrained by the division resolution of the Fresnel frequency zones and the precision of applied binary phase modulations. It should be noted that a constraint condition about crystal length, chirp parameter and the number of frequency zones is summarized in designing the experimental parameters for the desired compression goal. Since binary spectral phase and 0 are easy to obtain and calibrate in practice, we thus believe that our proposed method is feasible to implement experimentally. Moreover, the proposed method can also be generalized to other fields relating to the quadratic phase factor, such as two-photon absorption, second-harmonic generation and chirped pulse compression.

    Abstract: Vaginal microecology has a definite influence on human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and clearance, but the specific correlation is still controversial. This research aimed to investigate the differences in the vaginal microenvironment of different types of HPV infection and also provide data supporting clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods According to strict inclusion and exclusion criteria, the case data of 2,358 female patients who underwent vaginal microecology and HPV-DNA tests at the same time in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University from May 2021 to March 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. The population was divided into two groups: an HPV-positive group and an HPV-negative group. HPV-positive patients were further classified into HPV16/18-positive group and HPV other subtypes positive group. The vaginal microecology of HPV-infected patients was analyzed using the chi-square test, Fisher's exact test, and logistic regression. Results Among the 2,358 female patients, the HPV infection rate was 20.27% (478/2,358), of which the HPV16/18 infection rate was 25.73% (123/478), and the HPV other subtypes infection rate was 74.27% (355/478). The difference in HPV infection rates between the age groups was statistically significant ( P & lt; 0.01). The prevalence of mixed vaginitis was 14.37% (339/2,358), with bacterial vaginosis (BV) paired with aerobic vaginitis (AV) accounting for the majority (66.37%). The difference in HPV infection rates among mixed vaginitis was not statistically significant ( P & gt; 0.05). The prevalence of single vaginitis was 24.22% (571/2,358), with the most frequent being vulvovaginal Candidiasis (VVC; 47.29%, 270/571), and there was a significant difference in HPV infection rates among single vaginitis ( P & lt; 0.001). Patients with BV had a higher risk of being positive for HPV16/18 (OR: 1.815, 95% CI: 1.050–3.139) and other subtypes (OR: 1.830, 95% CI: 1.254–2.669). Patients with Trichomoniasis were at higher odds of other HPV subtype infections (OR: 1.857, 95% CI: 1.004–3.437). On the contrary, patients with VVC had lower odds of becoming infected with other HPV subtypes (OR: 0.562, 95% CI: 0.380–0.831). Conclusion There were disparities in HPV infection among different age groups; therefore, we should pay attention to the prevention and treatment of susceptible individuals. BV and Trichomoniasis are linked to HPV infection; hence, restoring the balance of vaginal microecology could assist in the prevention of HPV infection. As a protective factor for other HPV subtype infections, VVC may provide new insights into the development of immunotherapeutic therapies.

    Abstract: Cardiovascular complications of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) are associated with vascular remodeling in the arteries. Perivascular sympathetic neurons release an abundance of trophic factors to regulate vascular function via a paracrine signaling. Netrin-1, a diffusible protein that can be secreted outside the cell, is one of common signals of ‘conversation’ between nerve and vessel. The present study investigated whether netrin-1 is a novel modulator of sympathetic neurons paracrine signaling and played a critical role in vascular adventitial remodeling under T2DM. Vascular adventitial remodeling was observed in adventitial fibroblasts (AFs) responding to netrin-1 deficiency in the supernatant from primary rat superior cervical ganglia (SCG) neurons, shown as AFs proliferation, migration, and collagen deposition. Conditioned medium from the high glucose (HG)-treated SCG neurons contributed to AFs remodeling, which was effectively alleviated by exogenous netrin-1 supplementation. Further, it was found that uncoordinated-5-B ( Unc5b ) was mainly expressed in AFs among netrin-1 specific receptors. Treatment of netrin-1 inhibited H 2 O 2 production derived from NADPH oxidase 4 (NOX4) through the UNC5b /CAMP/PKA signal pathway in AFs remodeling. In vivo , aorta adventitial remodeling was accompanied with the downregulation of netrin-1 in the perivascular sympathetic nerve in T2DM rats. Such abnormalities were restored by netrin-1 intervention, which was associated with the inhibition of NOX4 expression in the aorta adventitia. In conclusion, netrin-1 is a novel modulator of sympathetic neurons paracrine signaling to maintain AFs function. Vascular adventitial remodeling was aggravated by sympathetic neurons paracrine signaling under hyperglycemia, which was ameliorated by netrin-1 treatment through the UNC5b /CAMP/PKA/NOX4 pathway.

    Abstract: We have investigated the vibrational sensitivity of a horizontal-mounted spherical reference cavity, which can be applied to develop an ultra-stable laser. Effects of different magnitudes of height and area as well as acceleration of the cavity support points on the length variation of the cavity are studied. When the cavity support points are totally constrained, the vibration sensitivity can be reduced to below 3.0×10-10/g. After performing extensive numerical simulations, we can find the optimal support position. According to the obtained results we present the mounting scheme of the spherical cavity. Taking into consideration the machining errors, near-horizontal mounting, and unsymmetrical mounting of the cavity, we can describe quantitatively the length variation of the cavity caused by these three factors. We also discuss the contribution of the second order effect to the length variation of the cavity.

    Abstract: Fluoridated composite Hydroxyapatite biomaterial was prepared by sintering the hydroxyapatite Ca 10 (PO 4 ) 6 . (OH) 2 [HA] powder with addition of titanium fluoride 30 wt. % -TiF 3 and mixture of iron oxide and aluminum oxide [5 wt. %-Al 2 O 3 /Fe 2 O 3 ; (5/1)]. The pellets were prepared by conventional sol-gel technique. The as-prepared samples were sintered at various temperatures and the effect of different temperature on grain size and mechanical properties has been investigated. The samples were sintered at various temperatures of 1100-1400 °C. After sintering, the sample’s mechanical properties such as compressive strength, bending strength, Vickers hardness were improved to be 49±0.26-103±0.26 MPa, 19.6±0.20-36.2±0.20 MPa, and 7.97±0.16-12.50±0.16 GPa with their grains size 4.76±0.10-17.63±0.10 μm and bulk densities 1.8944-2.2426 g/cm 3 .

    Abstract: It is based on actual working conditions and parameters of the hydraulic steering gear, to reach the purpose of the optimizing rubber by different rubbers mixing technology. Comparison the five kinds rubber and metal of the friction characteristics in dynamic fit, obtained a performance excellent rubber in the specific operating conditions. Then improve the overall service life of the transportation equipment. It is first prepared the same hardness TPU and PVC and blends that is ratio of 2:8, 5:5and8:2 in this article. The pros and cons of the five rubbers are analyzed by friction and wear properties of the above experimental. The test curve of coefficient friction and wear with time has been done under different load at constant low speed, friction and wear and wear mechanism of five rubbers with chrome-plated steel comparatively analyses to determine TPU/PVC = 8:2 blends has the heat resistance and wear resistance are better than TPU and PVC under dry sliding conditions.

    Abstract: In this paper, the effects of element V addition (0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.0 wt%) on microstructures, mechanical properties and thermal conductivity of Al–8Si–0.1Cu–0.6Mg–0.7Fe hypoeutectic alloy in gravity die casting process were investigated. Microstructure analysis indicates that the size of Fe-rich phase in the Al–Si alloy is greatly affected by the contents of element V addition. The modification of element V could decrease the length of needle-like β -Fe phase which has the adverse impact to mechanical properties, and promote the formation of short rod-like α -Fe phase which has the favorable effect on mechanical properties and thermal conductivity. Then, the dependencies of mechanical properties and thermal conductivity on the size of Fe-rich phase of the alloy is revealed. When the content of element V is 0.6%, the length of Fe-rich phase in the alloy reaches the minimum, and correspondingly both the mechanical properties and the thermal conductivity could achieve the optimal level, as comparison with other contents of element V addition. However, excessive V addition would form VSi 2 phase and Fe-rich phase with large size, resulting in poor properties of the alloy.
