Abstract: The eight-band k ⋅ p model is used to establish the energy band structure model of the type-II InAs/GaSb superlattice detectors with a cut-off wavelength of 10.5 μm, and the best composition of M-structure in this type of device is calculated theoretically. In addition, we have also experimented on the devices designed with the best performance to investigate the effect of the active region p-type doping temperature on the quantum efficiency of the device. The results show that the modest active region doping temperature (Be: 760 °C) can improve the quantum efficiency of the device with the best performance, while excessive doping (Be: 〉 760 °C) is not conducive to improving the photo response. With the best designed structure and an appropriate doping concentration, a maximum quantum efficiency of 45% is achieved with a resistance–area product of 688 Ω ⋅cm 2 , corresponding to a maximum detectivity of 7.35 × 10 11 cm ⋅ Hz 1/2 /W.

Abstract: A novel polypropylene strong acid cationic exchange fiber (SACEF) was prepared by sulphonation reaction of polypropylene graft styrene (PP-g-St) fiber. The structure of SACEF was characterized through IR, TG, DTG, EA and SEM testing. The physicochemical properties of PSACEF, including adsorption capacity, adsorption dynamics, water content, and regeneration stability were evaluated. The results showed that the adsorption capacity of SACEF was 4.42 mmol·g -1 . Infrared spectra indicated that hydrogen on the benzene ring was substituted by sulfuric acid group. TG and DTG confirmed that SACEF was more stable under the 250 °C. The adsorption dynamics suggested that the adsorption on SACEF was fast and it nearly reached equilibrium within 1 min. The water content of SACEF was 55%~60%. SACEF showed good regeneration performance. The adsorption capacity was constant after being used many times.

Abstract: The adsorption kinetics of strong alkaline anion exchange fiber for Cr (VI) from aqueous solutions was investigated. The adsorption was a fast process. Kinetics data for adsorption of Cr (VI) from aqueous solutions were in good agreement with the pseudo-second rate equation within an initial concentration range of 50-500 mgL-1. Both the equilibrium capacity and initial adsorption rate increased with an increase in Cr (VI) initial concentration. The adsorption process had combined control by chemisorption and physisorption, including film diffusion and intra-particle diffusion.

Abstract: In this paper, the solubility of barium nitrate prepared from barium chromate and nitric acid was investigated. The effects of reaction time, reaction temperature, stirring rate, the concentration of nitric acid and the amount of the initial content of barium chromate have been studied. The results showed that the solubility of barium nitrate decreased with increasing reaction time, stirring rate and concentration of nitric acid, increased with reaction temperature but had nothing to do with the amount of the initial content of barium chromate. Finally, the reaction optimum conditions were determined that the reaction time was kept at 30 min, reaction temperature was 40-50 °C, stirring rate was 100-200 rpm, and the concentration of nitric acid was 15 mol/L.

Abstract: To solve the hard problem that the reduction of heat transfer efficiency on the cooling stave of blast furnace due to fouling deposition, solid particles have been added into the cooling water pipes, forming liquid-solid two-phase flow, which can change the heat transfer and anti-fouling capacities of the cooling water pipes. Under the different solid phase volume scores, the heat transfer and anti-fouling capacities of the liquid-solid two-phase flow in the cooling water pipes are studies. The results indicates that because of the perturbation and shearing effect of solid phase particles, not only can the heat transfer coefficient and heat transfer capacity of the cooling water pipes be enhanced, but also the anti-fouling capacity be increased. Thus the highly effective running time of the equipment is greatly extended, realizing the long-term highly effective running of the cooling staves. The blast furnace cooling stave as heat exchange equipment, its heat transfer effects has the very important influence to blast furnace's life. In order to enhance cools wall's cooling capacity, the domestic and foreign scholars around material quality [1], structure optimization [2-4] , dirt cleaning of water pipe [5], heat-transfer property [1] of the cooling wall and so on to do the massive fruitful research work. At present, the fouling cleaning of blast furnace stave cooling water pipe wall is still a difficult problem. The high-pressure water washing and sand washing methods are commonly used in industrial practice, these are "doctors after the disease first" and low efficiency methods. The effect removing dirty stuff is not very ideal. The cleaning effect of on-line chemical cleaning is difficult to guarantee. Liquid-solid fluidization cleaning technology can be used in the blast furnace to cool the cooling water pipe wall. It can on-line clean fouling and strengthen heat transfer. Its anti-fouling performance has been studied experimentally.

Abstract: Synthesis of copper nanoparticles was achieved by reduction of copper sulfate solution using sodium hypophosphite (NaH2PO2). The nanoparticles are characterized by using SEM and XRD techniques. The XRD analysis and theoretic calculation indicate that the products have a fcc structure, and the size of crystallite is about 20 nm. Different solvents have been used to produce copper particles with different shapes, and the size of the particles can be controlled by varying reaction condition.
