Abstract: Objective: This study aims to analyze the retinitis pigmentosa patients' Clinical Presentation and inheritance patterns. Research conducted at the tertiary care hospital Material and methods: this tertiary care hospital study was carried out at a level I trauma center between 05 January 2018 to 05 January 2021. fifty-six patients and members of their families underwent an ophthalmic evaluation to help identify those with the condition and define its phenotype. The family tree was traced. Several relatives also had optical gheremco tomography and fundus photography. Results: at Presentation, 52 eyes (47%) were judged to be legally blind, whereas 38 (32%) had some degree of visual impairment. The visual field was narrowed in 22 instances ( 40%) due to the brightness of the interaction. In terms of inheritance patterns, we discovered that three cases were autosomal dominant (4%), 39 cases were autosomal recessive (70%), and three cases were x-linked (6%). Of the total cases, 11 (20%) were isolated incidents. There were 48 patients with a conventional retinitis pigmentosa image (86%) and eight patients with an unusual RP picture (12%), including three instances of pericentric RP (5%), 3 cases of Usher's disease (4%) and 1 case of retinitis punctata albescence (2%) bardet-biedl were identified in a single patient. Conclusions: Retinitis Pigmentosa Patients Have A Very Significant Risk Of Becoming Blind. Autosomal Recessive sporadically follows the Most Prevalent Pattern Of Inheritance. Early Detection Of Retinitis Pigmentosa Is Important In Preventing Blindness From The Disease, As Is Encouraging Patients To Forego Marriages To First Cousins. Abstract: The campylobacter genus of bacteria is important in public health as it comprises many species causing diarrhea in humans. Poultry and their products are recognized as vital causes of campylobacteriosis in humans. For bacterial food-borne diseases, Campylobacter is considered as the leading cause. Higher prevalence has been reported in developed countries. Our study was a cross-sectional study directed to determine the prevalence of Campylobacter species in retail broiler meat in the Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, from January to June 2018. A total of 200 poultry meat samples were collected from four different areas of district Bannu Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan that includes Lakki gate, Tanchi bazar, Bannu Township and Mangal milla. Mueller-Hinton medium was used for disc diffusion method to determine antibiotic resistance of Campylobacter species. Amongst 200 broiler meat samples, 60 (30%) samples were found positive for Campylobacter species. The highest prevalence was observed in samples from Bannu Township (50%) while lowest prevalence (12%) was observed in samples from Mangal milla broiler meat samples. Amongst different types of meat samples, highest prevalence was found in thigh meat (46%), while lowest prevalence was observed in cloacal swab (20%). Highest resistance was observed against Amoxicillin (AMX) 80% while the resistance observed against other antibiotics were Ampicillin (AMP) 70%, Tetracycline (TET) 65%, Sulphamethoxazole + Trimethoprim (SXT) 60%, Chloramphenicol (CHL) 56.66%, Clarithromycin (CLR) 50%, Streptomycin (STR) 40%, Gentamycin (GEN) 36.66%, Ofloxacin (OFX) 20%, Ciprofloxacin (CIP) 15%, Levofloxacin (LEV) 15% and Azithromycin (AZM) 10%. The lowest resistance was observed against Ceftriaxone (CRO) 5%. Our Study concludes that Campylobacter species is prevalent highly in district Bannu, and it might be a hazard to public health.

Abstract: The grains of guar are dehusked mechanically, milled, hydrated and screened according to their use. The guar gum has many industrial applications. It is self-pollinated annual plant having 14 (2n) chromosomes number and belongs to family Fabace. Genus Cyamopsis belongs to sub-family ‘‘Papilionaceae’’ and the tribe ‘‘Indigofereae’’. In the textile industry, it is used in sizing, printing and in finishing. In the paper industry, enhances the sheets formation, folding and gives denser surface for the printing. In the explosion industry, it is used as a waterproofing agent. In milk products it is used as a binding agent. Their genetic diversity can be used as an active tool to predict the association between various characters in genetically different population for improvement of crop enhancement practices. Its yield with different chemical compound trait and is recognized to be related with a number of constituent traits and is extremely affected by environmental deviations. These traits are themselves consistent. The correlation is very significant in plant breeding for its consideration in dependency among two or more characters.

Abstract: The study determines the prevalence and resistance among pathogenic bacteria against used antibiotics. The isolates were identified biochemically and subjected to antibiotic sensitivity using disk-diffusion method. A total of 210 bacterial isolates were tested, 175 (83.3%) were reported positive whereas 35 (16.6%) were found negative for HVS. The isolates were initially identified on colonies morphology and later via biochemical tests. The gram positive bacteria isolates i,e Staphylococcus aureus was found 48 (23.3%), followed by lactobacillus and least value belonged to Staphylococcus epidermidis i.e, 7 (3.3%). While gram negative bacteria Escherichia coli were 56 (26.6%), followed by Pseudomonas aeruginosa 36 (17.14%) and least value was of Proteus vulgaris. i.e, 7 (3.3%). All the isolates were subjected to antibiotics susceptibility testing. At least six antibiotics were shown to be resistant in bacterial isolates. Antibiotic resistance was found in considerable abundance in the clinical isolates, according to the findings. Antibiotic susceptibility testing and surveillance are essential on a regular basis to avoid treatment failure and the emergence of antibiotic resistance.
