    Abstract: Nowadays, the areas that recommendation systems are used are on the increase. It has become considerably important to make appropriate recommendations to users of the recommendation system. In this study, the influence of the personal characteristics of the users on the recommender systems we encountered in many areas has been investigated. In the study conducted, participants from various cities were asked to vote for the touristic places they visited from 50 touristic places in Istanbul province via the internet. Participants were also asked to share some demographic data (age, gender, marital status, etc.). It is desired to investigate the system effects of some user characteristics as well as user votes in the obtained data. The obtained data is converted into a form that can be used on Azure Machine Learning. Then the data loaded into the system. First, collaborative filtering was performed by using only the user votes, then hybrid approach that collaborative filtering and content based filtering are combined was performed by using user votes and demographic data. After training and testing, it was observed which features of the users affected the recommendation system.

    Abstract: In the reassembly processes made with archaeological remains by archaeologists or restorers; the analysis of fragments of the remains, designing the matching assumptions, rehearsing and cross-comparison of these assumptions on the real fragments of the remains, and finally assembling the adjacent fragments according to the proposed reconstruction assumptions are done manually. However, reassembly steps are time-consuming and exhausting because of the large number of parts, wear of the parts and deletion of the patterns and colors on the parts. In this study, an application has been developed that creates the image of the real object by combining digital images of relic objects such as two-dimensional fragmented wall paintings and mosaics, which emerged as a result of archaeological excavations, with the help of using image processing and geometric methods. On the developed application, it has given successful results in recreating the real object image within the specified constraints

    Abstract: Artificial intelligence (AI) applications in neurosurgery have an increasing momentum as well as the growing number of implementations in the medical literature. In recent years, AI research define a link between neuroscience and AI. It is a connection between knowing and understanding the brain and how to simulate the brain. The machine learning algorithms, as a subset of AI, are able to learn with experiences, perform big data analysis, and fulfill human-like tasks. Intracranial surgical approaches that have been defined, disciplined, and developed in the last century have become more effective with technological developments. We aimed to define individual-safe, intracranial approaches by introducing functional anatomical structures and pathological areas to artificial intelligence. Methods Preoperative MR images of patients with deeply located brain tumors were used for planning. Intracranial arteries, veins, and neural tracts are listed and numbered. Voxel values of these selected regions in cranial MR sequences were extracted and labeled. Tumor tissue was segmented as the target. Q-learning algorithm which is a model-free reinforcement learning algorithm was run on labeled voxel values (on optimal paths extracted from the new heuristic-based path planning algorithm), then the algorithm was assigned to list the cortico-tumoral pathways that aim to remove the maximum tumor tissue and in the meantime that functional anatomical tissues will be least affected. Results The most suitable cranial entry areas were found with the artificial intelligence algorithm. Cortico-tumoral pathways were revealed using Q-learning from these optimal points. Conclusions AI will make a significant contribution to the positive outcomes as its use in both preoperative surgical planning and intraoperative technique equipment assisted neurosurgery, its use increased.

    Abstract: Hızla ve kontrolsüzce artan veri dünyasında, veri tekilleştirme büyük bir ihtiyaçtır. Veri tekilleştirme, veri tabanında yinelenen verilerin kopyalarını ortadan kaldırmak ya da onları tespit ederek, eşsiz kimlik numarası ile betimlemek için kullanılan bir tekniktir. Oteller veri tabanında; ismi, adresi, acente bilgisi, ve fiyat bilgisi bulunan bir otelin, kayıtlarda farklı isim ve kimlik numaları ile bulunması, karşılaştırma olanağı sunmamaktadır. Rakip analizinin tam anlamıyla yapılabilmesi, rakip fiyat durumlarının bilinmesi ve pazar takibi bütün bu otel isimlerinin tekilleştirilmesi ile mümkündür. Bu çalışmanın amacı, otel isimlerini eşleştirerek, eş olan otelleri tek bir kimlik numarası ile tanımlamak ve tekil veriyi elde etmektir. Veri tekilleştirme için çeşitli metin benzerliği algoritmaları kullanılır. Bu çalışmada, Metin Benzerliği algoritmaları otel isimleri üzerinden karşılaştırılmıştır. Mesafe düzenleme bazlı benzerlik, belirteç bazlı benzerlik, diziliş tabanlı benzerlik algoritmaları ile bulanık dize eşleme algoritmaları incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda Bulanık dize eşleme algoritmasının ve Jaro Winkler mesafesinin birlikte kullanıldığı hibrit bir model önerilmiştir.

    Abstract: Günümüzde mobil cihazlar üzerlerinde barındırdıkları teknolojiler sayesinde günlük hayatın her alanına girmiştir. Bu uygulamalara örnek olarak yeni bir alan olan ve mobil cihazlarda kullanılan m-kupon uygulaması verilebilir. Mobil kupon kullanımının yaygınlaştırılabilmesi için gerekli olan hususlardan birisi, kullanıcı güvenliğinin sağlanmasıdır. M-kuponun elde edilmesi/kullanılması aşamasındaki güvenlik, sadece bilinen şifreleme algoritmaları kullanılarak sağlanamaz. Şifreleme algoritmaları protokolün olmazsa olmaz bir unsuru olmasına rağmen sadece şifreleme algoritmaları kullanılarak güvenlik garanti altına alınamaz. Bunlara ek olarak sürecin önemli bir parçası olan protokolün de güvenlik analizinin yapılması gerekmektedir. Bu kapsamda bu çalışmada, firmaların özel müşterilerine sağladığı özel indirimlerin müşterilere ulaştırılabilmesi için kullanılan m-kupon protokollerinden, Hsiang tarafından geliştirilen NFC tabanlı protokolün güvenlik analizi, oyun kuramı ve otomatik güvenlik protokolü doğrulama aracı Scyther kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Protokolün doğal elemanları olan kupon sağlayıcı, müşteri ve kasiyer için birer oyuncu ve saldırgan için ayrı bir oyuncu olmak üzere oyun kuramı için dört oyuncu belirlenmiştir. Bu amaçla senaryolar oluşturulmuş ve senaryoların simülasyonu yapılmıştır. Simülasyonda saldırganın, iletişimi dinleyerek elde ettiği paketleri çözüp çözemediği, sistemi manipüle edip edemediği incelenmiştir. İnceleme sonucunda, kuponun oluşturulması aşamasında, güvenlik zafiyeti olduğu, bu açık kullanılarak saldırılar yapılabildiği hem simülasyon ile hem de güvenlik protokollerinin doğrulanması amacıyla kullanılan Scyther aracı ile tespit edilmiş ve tespit edilen açıklar için çözüm önerileri sunulmuştur.
