Abstract: The major objective of this research is to examine the connection among poverty, population growth and its impact on economic development of different developing countries. This research comprised of panel data for period of 2002-2015. The data has been taken World Bank Indicator (WDI) for twenty six developing countries. To find out the results we use panel data. For the analysis of data we have applied Hausman and Fixed Effect Model in this study. Findings of the study indicate that the consumption of government, export, gross capital formation and industrial value added have positive impact on growth of developing economies. The results show that the variation in these variables has positive effect on dependent variables. On the other hand, economic growth increases due to positive changes in this variable. It is seen in this study that population and poverty has negative impact on GDP per capita in selected developing countries.

Abstract: Follicular Lymphoma is a type of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. It is defined as a lymphoma of germinal center B cells and a complex disease involving genetic and epigenetic mutations of Follicular B cell. Some of the commonly known alterations are cell in BCL-2 oncogene and somatically mutated genes. Follicular Lymphoma is the second most prevalent malignancy in the west accounting for about 10-20% of all lymphomas although an alarming rise has been seen in Pakistan as well. A lot of diagnostic challenges are being faced as this disease is indolent and presents atypical features. An effective treatment regime for follicular lymphoma fluctuates depending on the extent of disease and the medical history of the patient. Various methods are available for the risk assessment of the disease. Radiotherapy, rituximab monotherapy or combination therapy are the first line of treatment for restricted spread for follicular lymphoma. For aggressive stage of disease is managed with disease surveillance with imaging and rituximab is given in low grade tumors while chemotherapy and along with immunotherapy is the choice of treatment in high grade tumors. We report a patient here who presented with gross and progressing edema of the right lower limb that started in the foot and progressed proximally up to the thigh. Literature shows that unilateral lymphoedema could be an initial symptom of malignancy and is more common in woman than in males so must be sought as a potential diagnosis.

Abstract: Background: Anaphylaxis or Type I hypersensitivity response is an acute, severe, and potentially life-threatening response to an allergen. It occurs as an immune mediated reaction due to the release of mediators by mast cells. The anaphylactic response involves skin, cardiovascular, respiratory or gastrointestinal systems. In dental settings, anaphylaxis can be faced in reaction to multiple medications including the administration of local anesthetic agents. The reaction involves difficulty in breathing, light headedness, wheezing or clammy skin. The knowledge and attitude of the treating dentist related to the anaphylaxis reaction is of prime importance as it may result in morbidity or mortality if not managed properly. Aim and objective: The aim of the study was to assess the knowledge and attitude of dental practitioners in Islamabad-Rawalpindi related to anaphylaxis reactions in patients who have been administered local anesthesia. Method: This cross-sectional study was conducted in Islamabad-Rawalpindi between Jan to June 2021. Total 377 dentist were enrolled in this study after taking consent the closed-ended questionnaire-filled. The questionnaire had two sections regarding the knowledge and practice attitude towards anaphylaxis reaction in response to local anesthesia. The data was analyzed by chi-Square test using SPSS version 24. Results: There were 377 dentists in the sample, with the age between 5-30 years old, with less than 5 years of experience. Only 4% of dentists said they routinely offer a test dosage, despite the fact that 96% of dentists had the practice of asking about previous medication allergies before beginning treatment. Just 28.9% of dentists were doing aspiration before the administration of local anesthesia with 63.1% were checked expiry date. Interestingly, most dentists kept epinephrine, antihistamine, corticosteroids, glucagon, and albutamol as emergency medicine but 79.7% agreed on epinephrine as a drug of choice and injected intramuscularly. Conclusion: Although anaphylaxis during dental operations is uncommon, it may have serious repercussions if it does occur. Results from the current research highlight dentists' knowledge gaps when it comes to dealing with adverse responses. Keywords: Anaphylaxis, Epinephrine, Hypersensitivity, Local anesthetic agent

Abstract: This paper aims to find out the extent to which organizational culture and intellectual capital influence the textile industry’s business performance in Pakistan. The study uses causal and explanatory research design. Several 200 textile industry employees participated in this survey, selected as the study sample using the purposive sampling technique. The study detects that both organizational and intellectual capital directly impact the textile firms’ business performance. However, the impact of intellectual capital on business performance is more substantial than that of organizational culture. The mediating effect of technological innovation in the relationship between organizational culture and business performance is also supported. The study can be used by the textile industry managers to set up policies on how to improve business performance in the textile firms. The study also fills the literature gap as prior studies do not have worked on the mediating aspect of technological innovation.

Abstract: The earlier period investigations of Neutrinos emission from deep space indicate the existence of this particle which has been detected in various laboratories of the world. These laboratories are responsible for recording neutrinos emission originated from deep space. One laboratory situated near Sudbury, Ontario, Canada known as Sudbury Neutrino Observatory (SNO). Another laboratory is in Japan known as Kamikanado. We obtained a set of observations from both labs. It is obvious that the observations recorded at SNO have been utilized in this manuscript. From the same communication, the neutrino behaviour could be better understood by analyzing the SNO observed data set-I from November 1999 to May 2001 of D2O, while dataset-II is from July 2001 to August 2003 of salt water with particulars recorded, Run start Time since midnight. The samples used in this paper are 250 entries from both the observations sets. In this presentation, the most spectacular exhibition of the neutrino flux in its frequency components of the particles have been depicted in the form of a Periodogram that identifies covariance structure in the neutrino flux reaching this biosphere and parametric values obtained in this paper have been tabulated in various table frame of work. This communication does claim the neutrino emission characteristics in the real world. It has also been known from the literature survey that the same kind of work has not been framed in the third world countries where no neutrino detection laboratories exist. This piece of information will be beneficial for the private and public organizations where the experts are trying to explore deep space emissions detection and their characterization like the present study.

Abstract: Health-care workers are on the front line to combat the peculiar coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) pandemic and are susceptible to acquiring this infection. This study is aimed at documenting the effect of “coronaphobia” on mental well-being and to report burnout among physicians. The study was conducted as a cross-sectional survey between November 17, 2020 and January 1, 2021 via a Google form distributed among the physicians of a tertiary care hospital, in Karachi, Pakistan. The Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-being Scale (WEMWBS) was used to assess the mental well-being of physicians. Burnout was documented by using the Maslach Burnout Inventory Human Services Survey for Medical Personnel. Eighty-seven physicians participated in the survey (mean age, 30.9 ± 7.3 years). The mean WEMWBS score of the study participants was 51.6 ± 10.8. Regarding the WEMWBS, emotional exhaustion was observed in 54% ( N = 47) of participants, depersonalization in 77% ( N = 67), and low personal accomplishment was reported in 31% ( N = 27) of participants. The results of the survey further highlight that depersonalization, emotional exhaustion, and low personal accomplishment were associated significantly with a history of COVID-19 infection and COVID-19 postings. Hence, immediate measures are required to reduce the burnout among physicians while battling the second wave of the pandemic.

Abstract: Glaucoma is a primary cause of irreversible blindness worldwide, it kills the vision silently, having a financial burden on society regarding therapy expenses and loss of valuable hours of the day. Objective: To compare the choroidal filling time and grade the status and pattern of optic nerve head (ONH) perfusion by fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA) in glaucoma patients Methods: Patients with various types of glaucoma were enrolled and compared them with healthy volunteers with no history and findings of glaucoma. Perfusion status using FFA was studied and analyzed corresponding visual fields (VF) and optical coherence tomography (OCT) findings Results: There were 70 participants in the study, including 48 glaucoma patients and 22 healthy controls. Choroidal filling time (CFT) was 9-12, 13-17, 15-22, and 20-33 seconds in healthy individuals and patients with ocular hypertension (OH), primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG), and normal-tension glaucoma (NTG), respectively. In OH, inferonasal and inferotemporal hypofluorescence pattern of ONH perfusion was noted, whereas POAG showed an inferonasal, patchy, and undefined pattern of hypofluorescence. In contrast with the healthy volunteers that showed uniform fluorescence, patients with NTG showed inferonasal hypofluorescence. CFT was significantly delayed in NTG patients (p 〈 0.05). We found a strong correlation between findings of FFA, OCT, and corresponding VF defects in glaucoma patients Conclusions: The choroidal filling time is prolonged in patients with various types of glaucoma, especially in cases of normal-tension glaucoma. FFA reveals perfusion defects in the form of areas of hypofluorescence and multiple characteristic optic nerve head perfusion patterns in cases of POAG, NTG, and OH.
