Abstract: Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a complicated topic.TBI has expensive treatment, sequelae, high mortality and efficient therapeutic strategies for TBI are urgently needed. Patients with severe TBI account for 10% of all traumatic brain injury patients, but more than 80% of patients who die from traumatic brain injury are in this group of patients. That proves the danger of severe TBI. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) are multipotent cells with high proliferative and self-renewal capacities, as well as immunomodulatory and neuroregenerative effects. MSCshave been shown to treat TBI and significantly reduce inflammation of injured tissue. In the present study, we evaluated the quality and effectiveness of mesenchymal stem cell transplantation with the graft dose of 9x106cells/kg. Clinical indexes (Pulse, temperature, SBP, HATTr, HATTB, GCS) and subclinical (Hepatic index, kidney, cortisol, lactate, glucose, hematological index, respiratory index) were monitored on 60 patients within 6 months. The results showed that the recovery journey is different for every person with the graft dose of 6-9x106 cells/kg, but there were no adverse complications for the patients, the clinical and paraclinical indicators were stable. No significant side effects were observed during the trial as well as after 6 months of treatment. The MSC transfusions significantly increased the life quality patients; reduced brain damage  and increased HSC counts. Inflammatory cytokines (IL-6) levels decreased and GCS increased in the MSC transfusion group, indicating that the patient's health improved.

Abstract: Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a systemic autoimmune disease, which is characterized by systemic multiple-organ involvement, relapses with large amount of autoantibodies. Their pathophysiology is multifaceted, involves complex hormonal-immunological-cellular interactions, and leads to damage in multiple cell types, which is often resistant to conventional therapy. Thus, novel strategies are needed to repair the renal parenchyma and preserve kidney function. Mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) confer renal protection through paracrine/endocrine effects, and to some degree possibly by direct engraftment. The patient was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease by standard methods for more than fifteen years. The patient agreed to the treatment of autologous adipose mesenchymal stem cell transplantation. The adipose mesenchymal stem cells were harvested by surgery, isolated with our enzyme protocol. The patient received one injection with 2,6x106 cells/kg for a total of 43kg of body weight. The patient with SLE do not receive prompt treatment, he get irreversible organ damage. After seven months, the preexisting renal insufficiency gradually ameliorated, including the decrease of creatinine and blood urea as well as the increase of estimated glomerular filtration rate. Lupus symptoms also reduced, followed by the improvement of body movement and medication reduction. There was insufficient evidence of the clinical setting to show the efficiency of mesenchymal stem cells on the lupus nephritis relating to chronic kidney disease.  This clinical trial highlights the feasibility and safety of mesenchymal stem cell treatments in renal failure-associated- autoimmune diseases.

Abstract: This paper presents some results associated with physicochemical changes of fresh duck eggs after being preserved by chitosan membranes at different concentrations. Chitosan coating at the concentration of 1.5% worked best for preserving fresh duck eggs at normal temperature. The number of total Coliforms after 30 days was 30 Coliforms/100 g sample. There was no detection of the existence of Salmonella in eggs of experimental samples.
