Abstract: Recently, various methods have been developed for solving linear programming problems with fuzzy number, such as simplex method and dual simplex method. But their computational complexities are exponential, which is not satisfactory for solving large-scale fuzzy linear programming problems, especially in the engineering field. A new method which can solve large-scale fuzzy number linear programming problems is presented in this paper, which is named a revised interior point method. Its idea is similar to that of interior point method used for solving linear programming problems in crisp environment before, but its feasible direction and step size are chosen by using trapezoidal fuzzy numbers, linear ranking function, fuzzy vector, and their operations, and its end condition is involved in linear ranking function. Their correctness and rationality are proved. Moreover, choice of the initial interior point and some factors influencing the results of this method are also discussed and analyzed. The result of algorithm analysis and example study that shows proper safety factor parameter, accuracy parameter, and initial interior point of this method may reduce iterations and they can be selected easily according to the actual needs. Finally, the method proposed in this paper is an alternative method for solving fuzzy number linear programming problems.

Abstract: For better discussing and understanding the physical phenomena and body-fluid interaction of water-entry problem, here mechanical-energy transport (wedge, fluid, and each other) of water-entry model for free falling wedge is studied by numerical method based on free surface capturing method and Cartesian cut cell mesh. In this method, incompressible Euler equations for a variable density fluid are numerically calculated by the finite volume method. Then artificial compressibility method, dual-time stepping technique, and Roe's approximate Riemann solver are applied in the numerical scheme. Furthermore, the projection method of momentum equations and exact Riemann solution are used to calculate the fluid pressure on solid boundary. On this basis, during water-entry phase of the free-falling wedge, macroscopic energy conversion of overall body-fluid system and microscopic energy transformation in fluid field are analyzed and discussed. Finally, based on test cases, many useful conclusions about mechanical energy transport for water entry problem are made and presented.

Abstract: A standard procedure for the evaluation of emergency impact is developed, concentrating on variation of the impact degree. A numerical method is presented in this paper. The concepts of impact depth and impact width are introduced to assess the impact degree, and both of which determine the evolution path of impact. Based on the variation pattern of impact depth, the evolution path could be divided into rising stage, plateau stage, and recession stage, and path of each stage could be expressed in terms of specified functions. The major goal of this procedure is to measure the emergency impact and make predictions for the consequences. In the case study, we applied this procedure to the analysis of the impact caused by 3.11 earthquake in Japan and demonstrated the algorithm's effectiveness and feasibility. Although this methodology shows improvement in quantitative analysis of the emergency impact, the accuracy of the impact path and the derivative effect of secondary derivative events are issues that yet to be further studied.

    Abstract: We establish some oscillation criteria for the following certain even order neutral delay differential equations with mixed nonlinearities: r t z n - 1 t α - 1 z n - 1 t ' + q 0 ( t ) ( x τ 0 t α - 1 x ( τ 0 ( t ) ) + q 1 t ( x ( τ 1 ( t ) ) β - 1 x ( τ 1 ( t ) ) + q 2 t ( x ( τ 2 ( t ) ) γ - 1 x ( τ 2 ( t ) ) = 0 ,   t ≥ t 0 , where z ( t ) = x ( t ) + p ( t ) x ( σ ( t ) ) , n is even integer, and γ 〉 α 〉 β 〉 0 . Our results generalize and improve some known results for oscillation of certain even order neutral delay differential equations with mixed nonlinearities.

Abstract: We introduce a unified general iterative method to approximate a fixed point of k -strictly pseudononspreading mapping. Under some suitable conditions, we prove that the iterative sequence generated by the proposed method converges strongly to a fixed point of a k -strictly pseudononspreading mapping with an idea of mean convergence, which also solves a class of variational inequalities as an optimality condition for a minimization problem. The results presented in this paper may be viewed as a refinement and as important generalizations of the previously known results announced by many other authors.

Abstract: This paper deals with the extinction and nonextinction properties of the fast diffusion equation of homogeneous Dirichlet boundary condition in a bounded domain of R N with N 〉 2 . For 0 〈 m 〈 1 , under appropriate hypotheses, we show that m = p is the critical exponent of extinction for the weak solution. Furthermore, we prove that the solution either extinct or nonextinct in finite time depends strongly on the initial data and the first eigenvalue of - Δ with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary.

Abstract: We investigate a class of stochastic partial differential equations with Markovian switching. By using the Euler-Maruyama scheme both in time and in space of mild solutions, we derive sufficient conditions for the existence and uniqueness of the stationary distributions of numerical solutions. Finally, one example is given to illustrate the theory.

Abstract: A control strategy of permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs), which is different from the traditional vector control (VC) and direct torque control (DTC), is proposed. Firstly, the circular rotating magnetic field is analyzed on the simplified model and discredited into stepping magnetic field. The stepping magnetomotive force will drive the rotor to run as the stepping motor. Secondly, the stator current orientation is used to build the control model instead of rotor flux orientation. Then, the discrete current control strategy is set and adopted in positioning control. Three methods of the strategy are simulated in computer and tested on the experiment platform of PMSM. The control precision is also verified through the experiment.
