Abstract:
image PWWP2B moves to sites of DNA damage through its interaction with UHRF1 and promotes end‐resection by recruiting MRE11 to DNA lesions. PWWP2B is mutated in eight out of 25 Korean STAD patients. PWWP2B interacts with UHRF1 and MRE11. Depletion of PWWP2B decreases IR‐induced MRE11, Rad51, RPA2 foci, leading to impairment of DNA end‐resection and HR.
