Abstract: In the cloud manufacturing environment, the interaction and cooperation between enterprises become more convenient. The most optimal green supplier selection through cloud manufacturing platform can improve the production quality and sustainable development efficiency of enterprises. However, as alternative suppliers are all over the world, there is a risk that the selected supplier is not ideal. Therefore, in this paper, a hybrid supplier selection model based on TODIM method is proposed to choose the optimal green supplier under cloud manufacturing platform. Considering the characteristics of suppliers in the cloud manufacturing environment and green criteria, the comprehensive green supplier evaluation index system is constructed. The creative application of heterogeneous evaluation information including crisp numbers, interval numbers, and probabilistic linguistic values, can express the evaluation information of different subjects comprehensively. In order to consider human judgment and the importance of information provided by raw data, the criteria weights are determined by integrating fuzzy BWM (Best-worst method) weights and objective entropy weights. Then, with the full consideration of decision maker’s risk attitude, the TODIM method is used to process heterogeneous evaluation information and calculate the priority of the green suppliers. The proposed method is novel, and allows multi-subjects to participate in the assessment process and considers the risk attitude of decision-makers in the green supplier selection process. An empirical study of green supplier selection in the cloud manufacturing environment is conducted. Sensitivity analysis and comparative analysis indicate that the proposed selection model for green supplier is reliable and effective.

Abstract: Internet-based companies such as Amazon, Facebook, and Tencent hold an enormous amount of consumer data that are utilized to create business value via big data analytics. Although some companies use big data to provide professional services, such as targeted advertising and product recommendations, according to the current CAS, IFRS, and U.S. GAAP accounting standards, these assets are not recognized as assets since they are generated internally. This paper starts with a discussion of how Amazon, Facebook, Tencent, and Walmart use big data to create value for their businesses and then argues why it makes sense to recognize big data as intangible assets. Possible methods of data asset evaluation and their implications for business managers are also explored.

Abstract: Most previous studies focused on foreign language learning anxiety, whereas relatively few have ever examined the foreign language teaching anxiety (FLTA), particularly experienced by pre-service EFL (English as a Foreign Language) teachers. By administering the “Foreign Language Teaching Anxiety Scale” (FLTAS) and a semi-structured interview, the current study examined whether the EFL teaching practicum had an influence on FLTA by comparing the differences of FLTA between pre-service EFL teachers who had 4 months of practicum experience and those without the practicum, and explored the potential factors contributing to FLTA. Results of descriptive analyses showed that overall the pre-service teachers had a relatively high level of FLTA. Results of independent sample t-test analyses indicated that the practicum group had significantly higher FLTA compared to the non-practicum group. Furthermore, within the two groups, female teachers consistently showed higher FLTA than the male teachers. Results of the interview content analyses revealed that anxiety-provoking factors primarily originated from fear of negative evaluation, low self-perception of language proficiency, and teaching inexperience. The findings of the current study provide insights of anxiety research in EFL context and implications for teachers to better reduce anxiety in English teaching practice.

Abstract: Electronic healthcare services are becoming an increasingly essential form of information and communication technology (ICT) that enables the fast and smooth delivery of health care, specifically in countries with scarce resources such as Pakistan. A better understanding of factors contributing to the adoption of electronic health care is needed, yet this remains an under-researched phenomenon. Grounded in the united theory of acceptance and use of technology, this article attempts to fill the gap by proposing and empirically testing the contribution of trust, privacy, task-technology fit, and personal innovativeness of patients’ intentions to adopt electronic health technology. A survey questionnaire was used to collect data from 353 patients in major hospitals in Islamabad, Pakistan. This study used Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling for the analysis. Results indicate that the intention to adopt electronic health technology is determined mostly by effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, task-technology fit, trust, privacy, and personal innovativeness in information technology. The study concludes with several managerial implications and future research directions, which give further opportunities to researchers and practitioners in the field of e-health technology.

Abstract: Self-esteem has always been a hot research object in the field of adolescent mental health. But in longitudinal research, using a single slope to describe the trajectory of adolescent self-esteem is unrealistic. The piecewise growth mixture model (PGMM) was used to fit the data in this study. Selecting from China Family Panel Studies database, a total of 1,759 individuals were selected and their self-esteem (RSES) scores over the years were used as the tracking index. Based on the characteristics of the development trajectories of three latent classes, class 1 was referred to as “stable low level group,” class 2 was named “rapidly rising group,” and class 3 was referred to as “rapidly decrease group.” And there were two stages in the development process of self-esteem in the adolescent group. The slope of the stable low level group showed a significant downward trend in the first stage and a significant upward trend in the second stage, with a relatively flat development trajectory and relatively low self-esteem on the whole. The slope of the rapidly rising group showed an insignificant upward trend in the first stage and a significant rapid upward trend in the second stage. The rapidly decrease group showed a significant and rapid downward trend in the first stage and a significant and rapid upward trend in the second stage. In the development of self-esteem in adolescence, there were three latent classes in which the characteristics of development trajectories were different. Age of 14 is the turning point between the two stages of development.

Abstract: Drawing on motivated information processing theory, this study examined and compared the mechanism of prosocial motivation and intrinsic motivation on turnover intention among public and private employees. A valid sample of 328 public and private respondents was selected from the responses to the module of the International Social Survey Programme (ISSP) in the 2015 Chinese General Survey. The t-test was used to examine the differences in prosocial motivation, intrinsic motivation, and turnover intention through SPSS, and the methods of multigroup structural equation modeling and bootstrapping were adopted to examine and compare the mediation effects through AMOS. The results indicated that there were significant differences in prosocial motivation, intrinsic motivation, and turnover intention between public and private employees. Additionally, the indirect effects of prosocial motivation and intrinsic motivation on turnover intention were significantly mediated by affective commitment and then job satisfaction. There were significant public-private differences in the mediation mechanism. The findings suggest the chain mediation mechanism that prosocial motivation and intrinsic motivation are critical in facilitating organizational commitment, enhancing job satisfaction, and reducing turnover intention. This research contributes to a better understanding of the motivational mechanisms impacting turnover intention in the Chinese indigenous context, and suggests that so-called “good soldiers” and “good aspirants” are more likely to emerge in the public sector and remain in the public sector organizations.

Abstract: This study explored Chinese students' motivations for selecting a cross‐border university in China's Guangdong‐Hong Kong‐Macau Greater Bay Area (GBA) and how they perceive their undergraduate experiences. The GBA was developed as an international economic cluster in China. Despite the vitality of the GBA's international education sector, few studies have focused on individual students' perspectives on cross‐border higher education choices and experiences. We interviewed twenty students and two academics in charge of university admissions about their opinions and reflections concerning a GBA cross‐border university. Students' university choices were linked to different admission profiles, parental influences, institutional features and interactions between students and the institutions. Our study has significant implications for leaders and policymakers in higher education seeking to attract talented university students, improve enrolment and promote students' learning experiences in cross‐border higher education institutions.

Abstract: The purpose of this study aimed to analyze the process of online collaborative problem solving (CPS) via brain-to-brain synchrony (BS) at the problem-understanding and problem-solving stages. Aiming to obtain additional insights than traditional approaches (survey and observation), BS refers to the synchronization of brain activity between two or more people, as an indicator of interpersonal interaction or common attention. Thirty-six undergraduate students participated. Results indicate the problem-understanding stage showed a higher level of BS than the problem-solving stage. Moreover, the level of BS at the problem-solving stage was significantly correlated with task performance. Groups with all high CPS skill students had the highest level of BS, while some of the mixed groups could achieve the same level of BS. BS is an effective indicator of CPS to group performance and individual interaction. Implications for the online CPS design and possible supports for the process of online CPS activity are also discussed.
