Abstract: This study addresses the role of career growth in the turnover process among Chinese new employees. Based on reviews of the background of Chinese new employee combined with the Theory of Work Adjustment, we focus on career growth, person–organization fit (P-O fit), and job satisfaction as potential predictors. We examined career growth’s mediating effect between P-O fit and job satisfaction and its role in predicting turnover intention. Questionnaires were sent out through e-mail to Chinese new employees graduated within the past 3 years. Results of 323 valid cases showed that (1) career growth was positively correlated to job satisfaction and negatively correlated to turnover intention, (2) job satisfaction fully mediated career growth’s effect on turnover intention, (3) P-O fit positively predicted career growth, (4) career growth fully mediated P-O fit’s effect on job satisfaction, (5) P-O fit, career growth, and job satisfaction jointly explained 40% of the turnover intention’s total variance. Implications for individuals and organizations are discussed.

Abstract: Plain Language Summary This new study bridges the identified gaps in the literature, and the current research intends to investigate the effect of asset status on income distribution. As far as we know, this paper is the first time to select total executive compensation, total employee compensation and shareholder returns are adopted as the basic variables to measure the polarization of wealth distribution, and to combine the regulating role of digital inclusive finance and equity concentration.

Abstract: The present research examined the perceived teachers & rsquo; charismatic leadership and entrepreneurial intentions of college students. Based on the theory of emotional contagion, this study proposes a mediating model of entrepreneurial passion between college students & rsquo; perception of teachers & rsquo; charismatic leadership and entrepreneurial intentions. A questionnaire survey was conducted in 420 college students in Jiangsu Province, China. The results showed that college students & rsquo; perceived teachers & rsquo; charismatic leadership had a significant positive effect on entrepreneurial passion. Moreover, perceived teachers & rsquo; charismatic leadership of college students was found to have a significant positive predictive effect on entrepreneurial intentions, and entrepreneurial passion had a significant positive effect on entrepreneurial intentions. The mediation model analysis indicated that entrepreneurial passion played a partial mediating role between college students & rsquo; perception of teachers & rsquo; charismatic leadership and entrepreneurial intentions. The study results deepened our understanding of the inner influence mechanism of college students & rsquo; perception of teachers & rsquo; charismatic leadership and entrepreneurial intentions, in addition to providing a practical basis for college educators.

Abstract: Purpose: To develop a novel method for closely and effectively integrating simulation scenarios and clinical practices to improve clinical skills training in the concepts of translational medicine. Methods: Forty-two and 38 third-year medical students in the classes of 2010 and 2009 at Jinan University were selected as an observation group and a control group, respectively. The former group was taught according to a new, integrated mode, while the latter received traditional methods. Students' scores on practical tests in physical examination, internal punctures, and case analysis; theory-based exams on diagnostics and internal medicine; and questionnaire surveys were compared and analyzed. In addition, system-oriented curricula were explored and implemented. Results: A novel mode that closely and effectively integrates theory and practice in the observation group had been established although there were no statistically significant difference (P 〉 0.05) between Grade 2010 and Grade 2009 in clinical basic skills training scores. However, there were statistically significant differences (P 〈 0.05) in scores on practical tests of physical examination and internal punctures among the diagnostic, internal medicine and internship periods in the class of 2010 but no statistically significant difference (P 〉 0.05) in case analysis scores. Therefore, system-oriented curricula were initially designed and explored in excellent students from Grade 2010 to reinforce clinical thinking. Conclusion: The novel program integrating simulation scenarios and clinical situations for training students in diagnostics and internal medicine skills can improve medical students’ clinical comprehensive abilities and achieve effects that are similar to those of the traditional method. This program is more popular with students and ensures patient safety as well. In addition, different characteristics of clinical skills training have been compared for the further exporation of system-oriented curricula.

Abstract: The present study has investigated the impact of meaning in life college students on their school adaptation and explored the conditions under which this effect can be strengthened. The moderating role of family functioning on the association between meaning in life and school adaptation has been explored in a sample of 968 Chinese college students. In this study, PROCESS was used to test the study hypothesis. The study’s findings indicate that the meaning in life among college students significantly and positively impacts their school adaptation. Additionally, it is observed that family functioning significantly and positively moderates the influence of meaning in life on school adaptation. Specifically, the effect of meaning in life on school adaptation is stronger with higher levels of family functioning among college students. The present study contributes to deepen our comprehension of the relationship between the meaning in life and school adaptation among college students and holds both theoretical and practical implications for college educators seeking to improve students’ school adaptation.
